This a great little place for lunch, the sandwiches are fresh and the specials are always great.

Very expensive for what you get. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy! Bring lots of cash for what you get, food is not bad.

Special: $9.95 for baguette and 3 small slices of beef. That's it...no sauce, veggies or anything. It had the equivalent weight of 1/4 of a subway sandwich, and cost more. Never again.

$9.65 Chicken Salad - Two slivers of Chicken. Well I guess that solves that question if i will ever go back. Last time going to Flatlands.

E

My Favourite. I truly love Flatlands Cafe. Wonderful staff and fantastic food. The specials are (almost without exception) excellent, as are the regular menu items. My personal favourites are the clucker sandwich (ask for the chipotle mayo) and the friday burgers, but you really cont go wrong here. Definitely recommend to anyone on a tight lunch schedule looking for some fresh delicious fare.

Just a really, really good sandwich. I hate paying for more than $6 for a sandwich that I could make at home myself. But it's slim pickings for cheap eats in the Beltline. And I gotta tell you, I'm not sure I could make this sandwich myself for the price. Genoa salami on cranberry bread -- mustard that is so tangy -- plus a side of Mrs. Vickie's chips. $8 lunch. Delicious.

Straw that broke the camel’s back!. I work right by Flatlands Cafe so I could be considered a regular over there... I have tried many items on their menu but the item the pushed me to write a review for them was the egg white omelette I had this morning! Absolutely delicious! Other than the salads and the club sandwich, this is my new favorite item! I would recommend this quick, convenient, friendly café to everyone!!

Yes! I'll take the French toast!. If you have the time in the morning, have the French toast. So simple but delicious. Cookies, muffins and coffee have all been good, too.

Not cheap, but everything is fresh and prepared from scratch! A gem.

I have to be honest - I have a serious issue with a Calgary food reviewer. Everything I value in a restaurant reviewer is ignored - integrity, humble, discrete, and most importantly, visually anonymous. Instead, developing a cult of personality, and some
