Don't let the name fool you. This place actually has some really good pizza and food. Great little neighborhood pizzeria.
Good find! The pizza is pretty good. The cheese and crust is of good quality. I ordered the round- type pan pizza. The dough is thick but the cheese and toppings are the right proportions. I was pleasantly surprised.
Good Local Pizza. I have lived in the area for over 5 years now and when ever i want to order pizza this is my go to, A small " mom pop' shop the pizza is very good. Its more along the lines of a Chicago deep dish but not nearly as deep , tons of toppings and lots of flavors.
I have heard very good things about there Ribs but have never had them myself,
If you live up in the area and are looking to try something new gives these guys a go
It's a good eat. I've been eying on this restaurant for awhile and thought I'd give it a shot.
The selection in the menu was nice and decently priced. I only had $15 on me though, so I had to get something cheap. So I ordered a pan pizza that is 10" in diameter with two toppings (pepperoni and Italian sausage). The order was supposed to come out in about 15 minutes.
I went to seven eleven next door to get quick refreshments before heading back, though I can say I waited for my order for about 20 - 25 minutes. I don't mind though, since it's tough working in a restaurant. This man, who I assume to be the owner, was working on his own too. When my pizza did come out, the man was very apologetic and had a brief conversation. He even offered me a drink when I asked if I could eat in, which I replied I had no more change (though he willingly gave me a drink anyway).
The pizza itself is one of the better pizzas you could get. It's not the best, but far from the worst. I didn't expect it to be a deep dish, and I left full with two slices remaining (I eat quite a bit too, so that tells you something).
I'll definitely come back here, and I'll definitely be using this place as an alternative to order delivery rather than pizza hut (I got sick of the one here in Hidden Valley)
Better than expected. I know, small one off places in the 'burbs are generally not worth writing about, and while I rarely order pizza and am even less so likely to enjoy it I was very surprised by the food here.
We ordered an all meat and a veggie lovers. Our food took over an hour to get to the house and my initial belief was that we were going to get cold and soggy pies as a result. when the food arrived it was not as hot nor as crisp as I would have liked but it wasn't the disaster I was expecting.
The crust was good and the toppings on the meat lover's were much better tasting and fresher than I thought they would be. I enjoyed the sauce as well and this is saying something. The veggie on the other hand suffered much more from the long trip to our door due to the fact that the amount of water released by fresh vegetables makes them something I generally want only sparingly on my pizza and the length of time this pie spent in a thermal bag did it in (This was ordered by someone else by the way) :)
I think that if our delivery driver had been prompt than even the veggie lover's may have been good in my view and the all meat would have been all that much better.
If you are in the delivery area of this place it's a good alternative to the big places and you should try it.
