For my money, the best (non-Chinatown) Chinese take out in the Downtown area. Really quick service for both take out and delivery. Nothing mind-blowing or anything, but consistently good and if we ever want Chinese food on a weekend evening, this is our go-to place.
Great Canadian Chinese food. I tried the Palace Style Chicken (which is spicy and sweet so a bit like General Tso's), the deep fried squid, and the hot and sour soup. Everything was fresh and tasty and really good. The lady at the cash was friendly. I recommend this place. I saw they also serve Canadian breakfasts! I might have to come back for that!
This has been one of my favourite Chinese restaurants for over 15 years. I will go out of my way to come here for dinner. All their food is good, and my personal favourites are Satay Chicken Skewers and the Salt and Pepper Vegetables are amazing.
Good food and friendly service. The food was delivered very fast and the prices are very reasonable. Food is not salty and overly sauced as with some other places. Great customer service and a few vegetarian options as well.
Best in Calgary. Been going here 20 years and the food has always been consistently delicious, never had a bad meal here. Will continue going for the next 20 years+.
Delicious Peking duck. Just had dinner here with a couple of friends, ordered Peking duck, Shanghai noodle, hot and sour soup, and salt and pepper eggplant. Their Peking duck is great...not too fatty and really tasty! It also came with generous portion of cucumber, onion, and pancakes which was great! Everything else was good too. The bill was reasonable. I consider this restaurant great value and will definitely go back for more. Only thing is that service is OK, don't expect much on service and you will be OK.

Great place to go out for lunch. The prices are good, the ginger beef is probably one of the bests in Calgary, and the portions are huge. Highly recommend giving this place a visit.
Service with a smile. So i have never tried this place, i have had lots a crappy chin food in calgary. so they took 16 minutes to deliver, sure beets and hour. and the food was very hot. the flavors arent super strong but the quality is great. i reccomend it, or try ho won
Been a fav for 25 years (and I'm only in my 30s). Curry beef, salt and pepper veggies, palace style chicken, pork dumplings, and the best ginger beef I've tasted. Friendly service. Highly recommended!

I have been coming here for years and always had lovely service (with the occasional wait for like 30 seconds) and really good food. It can vary at time but nothing inedible. I can't wait to get my food every time I order.
Made With LoVe. I asked if they had a vegetarian soup & he said he could make me a vegetable soup. I called back because I know they have salt & pepper tofu & asked for tofu in the soup, & he said YES! WOO HOOO!! This will be my second time here. The first was friendly, can't wait for my delivery!!

The BEST ginger fried chicken. This is hands down my favourite Chinese food restaurant in the city. My husband and I have been eating here for ten years, sometimes in the restaurant but mostly we order take-out. My favorite dish is the ginger fried chicken - like a ginger beef but with tender chicken breast that is crispy fried with a fresh ginger pepper sauce. I like the chicken because unlike at other Chinese food places where I often find the meat is fatty, gristly scraps that are almost inedible here the chicken is quality. They also have really tasty pan fried dumplings and the salt and pepper squid is also really yummy.
Yes, the dining room is not exactly cozy, warm nor up to date. Not the place to take a first date or go for a romantic anniversary dinner - but they did recently paint. It is a terrible blue colour but at least it is clean! I really don't care what the decor is with the food being so good. Plus, 95% of the time we order take-out anyway. The service is mostly good, not spectacular but prompt and efficient and friendly. You get a discount for pick-up, too. Another incentivive to eat in the comfort of your own home.
... in fact, we are ordering in tonight! Mmmm.
