I absolutely love opa. They have great food and great fries. I usually get the chicken souvlaki. I didn't love their falafels but overall. Great place.
This place has the best service though I haven't been there in a while. Standard Opa food and prices. I'm a big fan of the lamb wrap and greek fries.
The best Opa in Calgary. This really is the best one in all of Calgary because of the main owner (I actually don't know his name...).. but it's just the best. I think it's also because everything is so fresh because so many people go to it! Man it's just so good!!! Falafel wraps are my new favourite (vegetarian) thing.. so happy about them!!! I LOVE OPA SO FRICKEN MUCH. LOL

Best Opa. This Opa is awesome compared to other locations! The owner/manager? who works there is super nice! The quality of their food is very high and they even squeeze lemon on your stuff - how awesome is that?!

Pretty good, long lineups during regular semester. The food here is always quite good. I find the value for the money is quite high, for example a side order of fries they use a large styrofoam container and it is packed full of fries (I believe the cost is around $3-4).
I tried their calamari plate and it was scrumptious. The calamari was fried crunchy on the outside but yet tender on the inside (it wasn't rubbery at all). I also noticed they had the battering station for the calamari just one the left of the fryers, so you know it isn't frozen battered calamari, it is freshly battered and cooked.
Just a heads up, I do enjoy spicy food, but if you get any of the wraps they will ask if you want jalapenos, and usually i can take abit of heat but these peppers pack quite abit of heat.
Overall, good food, freshly made caesar salad, and freshly cooked food. Only downside is that during the regular semester (fall/winter) there is quite abit of a lineup. Another bonus is that there is free refills on pop (pop machine is off to the left, so you fill our own pop).
The owner really cares about the food they serve and all the staff feed off his great energy. All the fried food is dine to order so you won't get cold soggy fries or other such items. I'm a vegetarian and their falafel is fantastic! Definitely recommending this place for lunch or dinner.
I love this place!. Being a UoC student, naturally McEwan Hall is where I go to eat most of the time and this place is my favorite place to go to. The owner is SUPER friendly, and despite this place being a fast-food place, its food is fresh and delicious! Did I mention this place gives out LOTS too, compared to other OPA places? Double the goodness!
Tasty as hell!. OPA is culprit behind my weight struggle - seriously - it's hard to resist their caesar salads, lamb, beef and calamari dishes. Large portions, very fresh, and consistent. Sometimes the potatoes are better than other days. The owner is cool about arranging for catering. I organized a little party and he helped me create a great feast. He gave me a student discount too, which was very kind of him.
The calamari dish is particularly delish - made fresh for you - good size - nice garlicky sauce and a good sprinkle of onions. My breath stinks for the rest of teh day but so worth it.
