Their burgers are pretty good here, and the fries are definitely my preferred side. The food overall is well priced, the drinks (unless on special) can be a bit expensive. It can be a little on the quieter side which I really like because I hate the loud pub atmospheres where you have to shout to be heard at your own table. I've been here a few times now and not been disappointed.
positve i thought the place and food is up and coming. it is what it is. good place to go have a few beers , learn to music or play VLTS, its comfortable like the Ship. if you dont like people ,STAY HOME, live music on thursday nite, the bartener pretty cool w/ the one liners. Enjoy the day
Wicked wings, wonderful waitress. Win win win. Our crew comes here every Wednesday for wing night, and are always served by Sasha and NEVER let down. You get what you put in; if you're friendly with the people serving you, they'll always look after you. This place has become my go to spot for the past number of months, and will continue to be. Keep it up guys!!
I go to Watchmans all the time.I have always gotten awesome service and its. A place where good people gather for good fun drinks food music and service. If that's what your looking for in a pub you will love it too.check it out for yourself.
Watchman's will always be a go to fore and my co-workers...we are there regularly and always get fast friendly service !!
Not on hockey night!. Great neighborhood pub but I don't like the crowds on sports night.
Food maybe pub food but it's not bad. However, try the fish and chip special on Thursdays! For $9 you get a huge fat piece of fish cooked perfectly and a couple of good sides. You won't be disappointed.
Lately, the wing nights have been a bit disappointing. Small, overcooked wings while only 20 cents, if inedible are not worth it.
Service is always great but we are regulars and good tippers so hopefully it's great for everyone!!
All in all, a great patio, great beer (try the Watchman's lager) and a nice place to hang out at.
YAY finally some nice service on 17 ave.... its hard to find these days in the pubs and bars of this downtown land. not the best food... (cheap pub food) but super nice ladies.
Good food, bad atmosphere. Place needs a face lift badly ... and the booths really suck. If you are over 5' 5" avoid sitting in them at all costs.
