Delicoius food in town. Enjoyed thier buffet alot with fresly made Naan.

Fantastic! The sauces were all thick and flavorful, none watery at all. Ordered the Chicken Korma, Nutter Chicken, Daal Mahkani, and Shai Paneer

Cheap, good Indian food. Real cheap and Pretty good. I'll be going back. Biryani was good. Butter Chicken was good. Naan was really a tandoori roti and was fresh and good and cheap. I recommend this place.
Not too shabby. I made an order for an array of things because anytime i try somewhere new i dont like to take the risk of just having one dish, hard to tell if a place is any good woth just one item. For the price it is pretty good , naan is pretty darn good at a buck a piece. Butter chicken very flavorful, a little runny but damn good taste. Chicken korma was very tasty big pieces of chicken. Chicken biryani was great for the price 6 bucks gets you a nice container with 2 legs and a thigh great value and good flavor. Only comment I would say which I hope they listen is to switch to 16oz Styrofoam containers instead of the plastic other then that great value for the price.
"F" for fantastic. A hole in the wall and was weary going in on a Monday night alone when no other cars parked in front. Boy was I wrong. Great little buffet as all was fresh and they brought fresh rice, fresh naan and just fried fish to the table on top of the buffet choices. Basically I would go out of my way to come back.
We have been to many different Indian cuisine restaurants, but this one BY FAR is the best!

The food was great! Many different options to choose from (we had buffet). Most is spicy which I LOVED! But if your not into spicy food, their butter chicken is a great alternative. Very tasty.
If you aren't sure what is spicy, the staff is more than helpful!

Amazing Food. We always go for lunch buffet. Simply amazing, and if the owner is in, he always comes out to check to see if there is anything else he can bring you if the buffet isn't enough. Great Pakistani food, which is sort of like East Indian, but is different enough to notice.
Tried iftar during month of ramadan....very good selections ...it was buffet style...loved their nihari and ofcourse their biryani. Their masala beef was superb!! Definitely going back for.other items after ramadan..on their usual hours.
I've eaten here a number if times and Zaikas has amazing food with rich flavours. For the people who say they have bad food is ridiculous. You must have eaten at Arby's or some other craphole.
Zaikas is amazing an super affordable.

Had lunch and it was FANTASTIC! Waiter cared and cook came out to visit patrons. Will go back again.
Good food, odd location. First off, this really isn't a restaurant it's more like a mess hall. But the food is deelish, authentic and cheap. I love spicy and it'll blow your head off. Feeling adventurous? Check it out on Saturday night. Service is friendly and they'll steer newbies though the menu. Its a good cheap lunch too.

Fine Pakistani Food, Great Price!!!. Some of the not so positive comments about six months
ago seem to be out of place at tonight's buffet dinner. The prices quoted on the urbanspoon page are way too high
as this place has the most reasonable prices, more like
$4.- to $8.- for most individual offerings, including the
$12.49 Dinner Buffet. It is true that the place is not run by
real professionals, but the food is very tasty and
they are making a genuine effort. Actually their
curry type of dishes have a very special, enchanting taste,
that I have never experienced before in Indian dishes. Most sauces are just pleasantly peppery hot. Meats are tender. The background authentic music is pleasant.
So if it is not 20 dishes, who is counting. It is a mystery to me also, why they are bringing the small plate of very tasty
Biryani to the table when it could be a part of the buffet,
specially when the name of the restaurant is chosen after
this tasty dish. They could have the meat in the special
sauce (gravy) and the rice in the adjoining steam table
pot. In summary it was an inexpensive and delightful meal
in an atmosphere of a number of well behaved ethnic
families with children. We will most certainly
return and bring friends and tell others about
this very tasty fine eatery!
The food is great and the price is right. Much more reasonable than other Indian food offerings inthe area. The lunch buffet can not be beaten for value and price!
Great food, great service. I called in on a Friday lunchtime, because of the smells wafting around the parking lot - yummy! The guy who served me was so friendly and attentive. The buffet was fresh, tasty and well presented, and was TERRIFIC value for $8.99 (I think that was the price for all-you-can-eat). They made me a fresh nan bread and rice included in the price. This is probably the best Indian style buffet I have been to.

Halwa puree buffet. Visited ZAIKA BIRYANI HOUSE on Saturday breakfast brunch and really delighted to have hometown taste here in calgary… the puris are real lahori puris..the crisp and the crunch.. with chickpea, potato curry and Suji halwa… really delighted and recommend everyone to have a try because beside delicious taste it is really light on pocket also… just 5.99.. not like others offering halwa puri breakfast real pricey and offering roti despite the REAL Lahori PURIS….
Zaika Biryani!. This restaurant is by far the BEST in calgary for pakistani food. Quality is good.. and so are the prices! I mean 11 $ for the dinner? You have to agree.. it's pree dece. There food does have zaika in it .. and is not an overdose of spices.. like uhmm.. other specific restaurants. Cut them some slack.. they are only starting. I hope this is a sucess guys. Inshallah. :)
