We went to Earls on Stephen Ave after a show for their Happy Hour. 9pm-close. And we were very impressed. Loved their tacos and pizza. Their Nashville hot chicken sandwich was really spicy! And great fries. We really enjoyed it.
Soup received a $150 gift certificate to Earls. She and her partner Ottawa invited me, L, Soccer Mom, and McCartney out for drinks and food. In light of recent news, let’s listen to Regulate by Warren G and Nate Dogg. Our table was next to the patio. We got the best of both words – a view of Stephen Ave, fresh air and spacious, comfortable seating. I preferred to sit inside, as I feel that people who sit on patios on Stephen Ave get stared at by passersby.
Just finished enjoying a satisfying and wonderful dinner here tonight. For a busy Saturday night the service was on par and the food and drinks came quickly. I’ve been dining here for years as the menu has evolved over time. Though I’m sad that certain dishes are gone and replaced, I still always enjoy whatever I order. We came to this specific location because they featured ‘New + Notable’ items on their menu. The Scallop + Prawn Linguini was absolutely delicious; the flavors, the presentation, the spices and the fresh seafood made this dish a 5/5. I wish they gave us one more large and tasty scallop… after all, good things come in threes! The pitcher of sangria was impressive. The flavors of the wine and berries and alcohol content were just great. Another 5/5. The calamari was good however it tasted overdone and overly crunchy, so a 4/5 on this one. Great atmosphere, good music, tasty menu and friendly service all equal a fun Saturday night out!
First time dining at Earls since their new renovations and I absolutely love the new look! The décor is beautiful and the new fresh vibes are classy and fun at the same time. The staff is super helpful and friendly, and willing to solve every problem quickly! My dad and I had the sirloin and I opted for a double serving of asparagus. My husband had the steak & sushi, which was so flavorful, and my mom chose the dynamite roll - always a classic! Unfortunately our steaks were a little well-done and we wanted them medium rare. The manager came out to personally apologize and said we didn't have to pay for either of them!! Despite that, the food was delicious and no one left anything on their plates! Excited to be back again soon.
I'm kind of surprised to see the bad ratings. I've been here a handful of times. I love the decor, the service is always good and friendly. The food is generally pretty good. The portions are on the smaller size... but not unreasonablely. They can do with more vegetarian entrees but I usually just end up eating some appetizers or snacks and it works out okay. I had the bibimbap once too, it was a bit on the oily side. Last time I was there with my husband and son, we had excellent service. I took my son over to the kitchen area to show him how they made food (not in the kitchen but in the bar area). One of the cooks noticed us and explained to my son what he was doing. He even gave my son a piece of pie (which was probably one of the best pieces of pie I've ever had). Our waitress must have been new because she wasn't the most knowledgable but she was friendly and tried hard. Overall, we like the restaurant. Would recommend and we'll be back.

My group of four went to Earls.67 last night (we had some gift cards and promotional coupons to use) and I was pleasantly surprised.
The renovations they did to the place are very nice. Very modern, light and spacey. We chose to sit in the lounge side as the canteen side was a bit too bright for 7pm. The seats in the lounge are very comfortable and there are lots of different design choices that I really liked.
Our waitress was fairly prompt and took the time to explain the no tip system to us. It took a little bit to get our drink orders and in that time the waitress had accidentally spilled a side of dressing on the floor which got all over two people at our table. However the manager was excellent and offered us cocktails as an apology. We all agreed that the customer service was excellent in this situation.
The drinks at Earls.67 were very good. We had a pitcher of the White Sangria and the complimentary sweet tea punch bowl from the manager. The Punch bowl was an excellent boozey drink which would be deadly on a hot summer day. It also comes out in a large crystal jug with a pour spout which is quite the sight when it gets to your table.
My table found the food to be better tasting than a normal earls, however the prices are a bit higher and in some cases the portions are smaller. However, our waitress did give a good heads up when portions might be smaller than expected. For example, my friends were going to share a salad to start but we're informed that the salads were definitely a single portion size so they ended up each ordering one.
My boyfriend and I shared the hot wings which were really crisp and saucey. I had the duck for a main which was really excellent. The skin was crispy and the duck cooked perfectly. It was a fairly big portion of duck as well which was a big plus.
Overall, we really enjoyed our dinner here and will be coming back to try more of the menu. While the idea of an built in tip is a bit off putting in theory, in practice it was really no skin off our back as we had excellent service the whole night. I would definitely recommend to a friend.

First time here after the renovations and was pleasantly surprised with the whole new look and feel to this place. It was very inviting and modern. Great new concept compared to the traditional Earl's locations. Even the dining experience was totally different.
There were a few similar items on the menu but it was refreshing to see different offerings like the skewers, in-house filtered water and in-house fruit flavoured sodas just to name a few.
Earls 67 is the first restaurant in town to impose an automatic 16% gratuity on your bill. I was surprised that they would launch this but both the server and the hostess advise you of this before you order. Plus it is also on the front page of their menu so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. As for the service that came with it, I must say that our server was top notch. She was amazing but unfortunately I could not remember her name. She made small talk with us and made us feel like we've been friends forever. She was super friendly and attentive. Best of all she made really good recommendations and she really knew the menu and the ingredients to the dishes when asked about. I didn't have any hesitation paying the 16% gratuity that was added to our bill. Even the hostess was extremely friendly and quick to greet you when we arrived.
The food was also really delicious and came out quite quickly. The flavours were very good. So much so that our party stopped talking when the food came because we all were so into our food that we stopped chatting. Everyone enjoyed their food. We vowed to come back to try other dishes here. The menu was pretty large a had good variety to choose from.
Overall this place is a winner! I will definitely be back soon.
Food is good quality but price needs to drop a buck or two for some of their dishes. The veggies and avocado dip was $9 for 2 small carrots, a quarter of a mini Cucumber, 1 cauliflower and that's pretty much it. The bimpap was really good but I would've paid $2 less for the proportion.
I know they are piloting this auto-tip thing which I really don't mind because I always tip 15% or more at Earls because the service is always great! This new way of service with random ppl bringing your food at random times didn't work for me! There were 4 of us and 1 person got their meal 5 mins before the rest of us, then 2 meals came then mine took another 5 mins because they delivered it to the wrong table, then we finally got our appetizer. NOT A FAN OF THE NEW SERVICE SYSTEM! IT'S HORRIBLE! The service makes this lower quality than all the other Earls.
The food was really good, but the service was not. Took forever to get the bill; had to get another server to get us the bill after waiting so long. Eventually our server came with the bill. If you want to charge a 16% hospitality charge, then the service better be excellent, or else don't charge it and let the customer tip based on quality of service.
The food here is pretty good, you have your pick of standards like burgers, soups, salads, pasta, etc. The menu also includes a section called "Noodles and Wok" so it's pretty nice if you've got a craving for Asian food. If you love chocolate, I definitely recommend the warm chocolate sticky toffee pudding.
This is a popular spot and was packed out for a weekday lunch. We had the hot wings to share - the marinade was delicious and the creaminess of the parmesan dip helped to cut through the spicy flavour.
I also had the bigger better burger which was so good and pretty massive (at least for me)! The angus beef patty was thick and juicy. The tomatoes, lettuce etc were fresh. The brioche bun was buttery and nicely toasted. The accompanying shoestring truffle fries were so addictive I couldn't stop eating them.
Service was quick, we didn't have to wait long for our food and the staff were friendly. Great CBD spot for a casual-smart lunch.
Amazing meal!! Had my favorite California pizza. It was hot and fresh! As well, the others in my party loved their meals! The waiter was great and while I don't normally eat downtown, I would definitely come back to this restaurant! Thanks Earl's!
Great service. Food provided quickly with a smile. Food temperature excellent. I had a pasta fettuccini with field mushrooms and chicken. My wife had the margarita pizza. Both were excellent. Service was top notch. Friendly and prompt. Sarah H was our waitress and she was really excellent. Price was very reasonable too.
BEST CHANCE FOR KEY LIME PIE !. If you r way into key lime pie , then u r going to be very tantalized. This is the most desirable key lime pie in Calgary. The food and service is always top notch that goes without saying. Take note if u r trying to do lunch, have someone arrive early to score table. This place is jumping at lunch hour.

Expensive drinks, good service though.. I came in here the other day for drinks while i was waiting for a friend. I just sat at the bar and got service immediately. I stayed for 3 drinks, all doubles. I sampled the vanilla pomegranate mojito and it was delicious. Second, was a ceaser and third some martini she mixed up for me and it was great! The staff was really friendly and even though it was busy in there they managed to be always be right there when my drink was finished. They were friendly and personable.
This Earls is pretty chic and clean and a little nicer than the one's I've previously dined in.
I have always liked earls and the food is definitly a notch better than most of the other chains (they use alot less premade food). We had a ceaser salad, wings, a sushi roll and calamari on Stampede wednesday and it was very good. Not too busy at 530 and the food was good. It is a tough call on value though as earls certainly isnt cheap.
The Dry Ribs are absolutely the best here!!!
Earl's Bankers Hall is unique from any other Earls because of it's lunch program that offers feature sandwiches (& changes every few weeks). A great place to have a quick lunch before going back to work, after work drinks, and taking clients for lunch. Earls also owns v Lounge next door (same food menu, more extensive alcohol selection) where you can make reservations; whereas earls only takes dinner reservations & allows minors in the restaurant. Their staff is knowledgeable from food to wine and are very friendly. I always get taken care of when having dinner or lunch. My favorite? The spicy seafood linguini and ribs entree that just falls off the bone. Steaks are tender and perfectly caramelized and lightly seasoned with Himalayan rock salt- purest form of salt around the world.
Great food. The one thing that sets this place apart from the rest of the places is its service. And I am not talking about just waitresses only ;) - its both the guys and the girls working there that make it such a great place. I have never had a complaint with Earls and if for any reason, I didnt like something, they are quick to correct it. I have been a loyal patron for the last 6 years and will be for a long time to come.
'tis ok. Been to Earls here a number of times mainly because it's a great location. The food has been good but not great. It does have a nice atmosphere. The Earls girls wear very little all year round I see.
