Reallllly sweet. Lots of icing. Good flavors. Cake was a little toooo crumbly for my liking. I didn't find the pina colada one tasted like pina colada. Lol. Marble was ok. Both were too sweet for me to return :(
I bought their pastries yesterday and I won't divulge except to say one of them had problems.
We brought it back today and showed the problem to the young lady at the counter, who offered to replace the 'bad' pastry.
As we were a little worried about eating the pastry again I asked if we could have cupcakes instead. The young lady seemed annoyed at our request and told us quality control slips happen (I hope not with regularity).
she deferred to I believe the store owner, an older Asian lady who was EXTREMELY nice about it, offered the cupcakes worth more than what we had bought yesterday.
Great cupcakes and great customer service go a long way,

Last week I ordered a dozen cupcakes for a Baby Shower I was hosting, and picked them up on Saturday. The process was very easy thanks to their website, and the emailing back and forth was prompt and professional.
Since this isn't something I would do on a regular basis, I used the occasion to order 12 different cupcakes, covering something for pretty much any taste preference, and I was not disappointed. I picked up my order on Saturday, the place was bright and clean, the products displayed well, and the service was friendly and helpful. The cupcakes were packaged nicely, 6 to a container, and were still nice and fresh the next day when I had the shower.
All of the guests were pleased with their choices - the standouts being the S'more, the red and black velvet and the coconut one. I had the carrot cake one and really enjoyed my choice as well. All of them are loaded with icing, and naturally, super sweet - not sure what everyone else who complained of the sweetness in their reviews expected from this style of cupcake? We all enjoyed them, and while it won't be a regular purchase, considering the price point and the rich/sweet product, they were exactly what we needed for our party and I would absolutely consider this place again for a similar event.
Pricing is very comparable to others in this market and I found the quality and variety to be there, making it a worthwhile purchase!
Best brownies. Extremely delicious chewy, fudgy brownies for less than three dollars! I find the cupcakes very similar to Crave - sweet, lots of icing, good if you're into that. But seriously, go for the brownies!

Not Just Cupcakes. My friend gave me Bliss Cupcakes when they were just opened for two months three years ago. Back then the only other cupcake place was Craves. My friend gave me a Bliss Black Velvet and Lemon Cupcake that was white lemon buttercream icing back then than the Strawberry and Yellow Lemon Buttercream icing that they have now which I think is amazing, two of my favorite kinds of flavors put together. Back then the cupcakes that I tried were the best cupcakes that I've ever tried. Only open for two months and Bliss already had reviews on the net. All were positive. I finally got the chance to go to their first location myself and I've been a fan ever since. They do make pies and other sweets that I really like as well. The pies changed over the years according to how customers want. I think they perfected their pies now and they are even better tasting than the first time I tried them. My fav is the Peach Mango and Strawberry Rhubarb. They also have these butter cookies they make sometimes that I think are amazing and I tried this raspberry crumble that is like home made is what their pies, butter cookies and raspberry crumble taste like to me.
I crave for bliss cupcakes. That is, i like Bliss cupcakes better than Crave. and the people too. kudos to staff at the Bow Valley Square shop

Took Bliss for granted but now love it more..... I had only tried Crave prior to Bliss and liked Bliss more but tried Buttercream the other day and appreciate Bliss even more than usual now!! I go to Bliss usually once a month to grab the dozen minis and my BF and I devour them -- they taste great! Tried Buttercream and can't even finish the minis --- after that experience, I love Bliss even more and have always liked it more than Crave as Crave is too sweet!! Bliss is the winner!

IN LOVE. These are the best cupcakes ever! I am an avid baker and really great at it too, so let me assure you that these are the best cupcakes. The frosting uses real butter, is flavoured naturally, almost as if biting into a strawberry! The cake is soft, moist, and oh so delicious. It does tend to be a bit crumbly but it doesn't matter. These cupcakes are amazing.
I've tried all the cupcake places in Calgary, these are the best. Bliss knows how to make them!
PS. The brownie is okay...but not a show stopper. Go for the cupcake.
Much better than Crave!. I like that they have so many different flavours and the icing is perfectly sweet, unlike Crave. Cupcakes are lovely and moist.
Best so far!. I've tried Crave and Buttercream but honestly, Bliss is the best cupcake place I've been to so far. I like how the staff is friendly and how I can see that people are really baking.. Also, when I went they offered me a cupcake that was just made fresh! :D Full of flavor and the sweetness isn't overwhelming. Although the location is a bit strange.. I think their business would be better if it wasn't hidden in the basement/under the stairs.

Cupcake perfection. My first visit to Bliss & Co, and I was not dissapointed in the slightest! I shared a Red Velvet and After Eight (Chocolate Mint) Cupcake with my friend and both were delectable, every last crumb was eaten.
The Red Velvet was superb, the cream cheese icing was not too sweet, but very thick and creamy. The After Eight was a bit too sweet for my liking, but the cake was very chocolatey and moist. I will most certainly get the Red Velvet again, and can't wait to go back and try their other flavours that look amazing! (Next on the list... Island Dream (Coconut))
I waited a few weeks so I can have an unbiased review and it's clear that Bliss cupcakes are awesome but in my opinion, second only to that other cupcake shoppe at the Calgary Farmers Market. The cake is moist and delicious but lacking in ooompph unlike the other cupcake place. Will definitely go back for another visit!
Not too sweet = Perfect. Having tried many a cupcake place, Bliss is definitely my favourite. The icing isn't too sweet, and the cake is moist and doesn't crumble like other places I've been to. This place creates cupcakes with a perfect balance for the taste buds. Their 14k Karrot gold cupcake is to die for, their chocolate with blue buttercream icing is amazing, and the after eight makes you drool on yourself. And the staff is always super friendly and courteous. Best part? My friends that have nut allergies can share in the deliciousness. If you haven't gone here yet... what are you waiting for?
Best cupcakes. While the location of the shop leaves something to be desired, their cupcakes don't. The cake is moist, but the best part is the icing. Not as sweet as Crave (a very good thing), and full of flavour. You can taste the strawberries in the strawberry icing, and the lemon is excellent. Will be back for more!
The gluten free chocolate cupcakes and cake are pure decadence. You will enjoy every single bite. You will not be dissapointed.
Better than Crave. I learned about this little cupcake place when someone from my department ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for a meeting. I find their cake has more flavour and their icing is less sweet compared to Crave, which is great. Often I get pretty sick after eating a whole Crave cupcake because it's so sweet and overpowering. The pricing is about the same, but I very much prefer Bliss.

Wonderful New Find. What started out as a hunt for coconut cocktail buns turned into the discovery of Bliss & Co. Cupcakes and Desserts, just a bit west off of Center St. on the North side of 3rd Avenue SW.
We were looking for dessert for a potluck, and picked up a couple dozen cupcakes in various flavors and they were definitely a hit. There were the usual chocolate and vanilla ones, with a variety of buttercream or creamcheese icings, but the other flavours really stood out. The coconut ones had coconut in the cake and the lemon one had a lemon cake. There was also a carrot cake cupcake, and a chocolate with orange icing that tasted like a creamsicle. They were all very moist as well.
We have since also tried a coconut cream pie, a chocolate cake with caramel mousse filling, and a flourless chocolate cake. All have been wonderful, and downtown delivery is an added bonus. They are made to order with 48 hours notice, but they've been able to accommodate some short notice requests too. The owners are both very friendly, and show an obvious pride in, and passion for, their work when they explain their various products. Bliss has been a wonderful new find!
