I was getting ready to prepare my Auntie Joan's well-known UK borscht, but sometimes it's difficult to find all the components in one supermarket. Surprisingly, I found all the items at the Monterey Co-op today, notably the beets with the lush leaves still attached! I'm so excited!!!
A good place to shop. Selection and freshness is there, and they are the only ones near me that carry Shefs Butter Chicken Sauce, which I doctor just a slight bit to make awesome curries. Good old Coop.
Love this store, Shelly the manager is absolutely a sweet heart. The staff are all very nice and its usually very easy to get in and out of the store quick.
Usually my go to place for groceries, overall clean, friendly, and helpful. The only issue is there is some inconsistencies with products, sometimes they have something, the next week they might not. Hopefully this will correct over time.

I've had good experiences at this Co-op location. As a wheelchair user, I often need to ask for assistance to get items down from shelves or to take my purchases to the front because I can only carry so much. Hardly ever busy. Their produce and meat is better than most places. I go for the meats that are discounted. Just before Christmas they had t-bone and prime rib steaks on for good prices. We mainly shop here when we need our water bottles refilled. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The store is a little on the expensive side of things. Sometimes I can find really good prices though. The selection is pretty decent, usually fresh fruits and veggies. The staff are really nice and helpful though especially the cashiers. Some if the pharmacy workers aren't too friendly. I shop here

This is my local community co-op and it's always had a pretty decent variety of products. From your staples to specialty items. They bring in new things that might be in trend often.
