Reminds me of Eastern Europe. Slightly shabby on the outside, and scuffy on the inside, 'Ukrainian Fine Food Restaurant' (located in the SE near 42nd Ave and Blackfoot) has some very traditionally prepared Ukrainian dishes.

The sausage and perogies (what I had) are quite good and not very expense.

Fairly good place to drop by for take out for lunch, if you happen to be in the area.

Still going strong!!!!. This restaurant has been in our family from it's inception in a small kitchen to a thriving restaurant of 22+ years. You may of seen my mom on CBC Ukrainian Xmas in January or with the guys on A Channel at one time or another, and we are still after all those years the little restaurant on Cleveland Cresent. We are definately worth tracking down if you would like to make the effort and we look forward to new faces. With that said don't expect to show up and have the"norm" in Ukrainian food! We have designed 7 types of cabbage rolls that include a Mexican and a Cajun Chicken for spice lovers. But also don't worry we still make all the traditional styles as well. We believe variety is a good thing considering how multicultural our city has grown.Our Family would also like to say Thank You to the people of Calgary and surrounding Alberta for supporting us, and we look forward to seeing you again in 2010 and beyond. We will of course be travelling this year all over Alberta,and are looking forward to seeing our customers from previous years and those that didn't know we existed until now.
