Great customer service ,good tasting. I called them at last hour and was not possible to pick up but Mr.Patel as a special case delivered it to my door step.
Pretty good but not the best I’ve had. They get a really nice crispy crunchy crust on the wrap. The sauce and toppings are not as flavourful as other places I’ve had. The baklava wasn’t good - really dense and just odd tasting. The service is really friendly and lovely.
Impeccable service. Huge portion. I ended up getting the chicken shwarma and it was huge and it only cost me about $8.50!! The food attender was extremely friendly and happy and I loved getting her service, which was fast!! Yummmm. Sooooo full
Always enjoyed going to Shawarma Station. The owner is very personable and enjoys chatting which adds to welcoming environment. Of the many shawarma places I go to, this place is one of my top three. I find the meals to be a perfect balance of sauce, meat and vegetables unlike a few others where the food is drowning in sauce.

Ive eaten here for years. The owner is great. The ingredients are fresh. The garlic sauce is secret and for good reason....its delicious. Even their fries are good!!! Enjoy
When I worked in Kensington, I would wander over for lunch from time to time.
The owner there is very friendly and likes to talk.
The ingredients are good and taste fresh. The pita and the meat (beef for me) are both very tasty. When you combine all of the ingredients and top it with cheese and sweet sauce, it puts it over the top. This is a great donair shop, even if it is more pricey than the one I usually frequent.
Came here after watching some friends' hockey game (they won!).
The beef donair was so good that I couldn't even think coherently while eating - all I could think of was stuffing that mouthwatering donair into my mouth because of the crisp, fresh vegetables, creamy sauces, and amazing meat. Although the price was relatively high and I didn't see the meat being cut off a spit like other donair shops, I would definitely come here again - hockey game or not.
A friend of mine recommend Shawarma Station. I have been there last week. Falafel from zero is made at this warm nice friendly place! Big LIKE

The best arabic food that I have tasted ever. The environment is very greatful because the owner deals with you as a best friend. I am mexican and the shawarma with peta is very close to an excellent taco. The food is healthy as much ans very delicious. In short: I Love shawarma station
This was our first visit to Sharma Station. We really enjoyed both the chicken sharma and the falafel - it was excellent and very tasty and fresh. Great service -very polite and efficient. We used to live in the Middle East and have had difficulty finding Sharma that can match the great food we received locally when there - I think we have now found it - we will be back.

Since moving into the neighborhood, SS has become a staple of my lunch and dinner dining. I love the staff and owner of this place and they always treat me like I'm their best customer. I love the freshness of the ingredients and my wife who never used to like Shawarmas is now hooked. Love this place!

Jordanian Style Shawarmas were Absolutley Delicious!. Went for a late night meal here at Shawarma Station and met the owner as well. It was late and he only had the donair beef meat available (having said that, the best experience you will have here will be in the middle of the day - put in his own words as well). We had the donair beef wrap and donair beef platter. The donair meat here was much different than most places in town (most will use Atlas meats to make their donair meats) but this guy uses a smaller shop to maintain a more homestyle recipe.
The wraps are much different than a lot in town where it was wrapped a bit wider, but it was very tasty. They aren't extremely large but good for a big guy like me. My spouse liked the platter and noted that he serve hummus and mahummara with falafels (again, not an out of the box recipe, but authentic imported spices).
Will be back. Food was great and staff was friendly, will return for sure.
Good. Food was ok but customer service was good. Should of ordered a fillafel instead of rice and beef.
Worth the Drive. I live in the far SE part of town, so this place is a bit of a jaunt - but well worth it. Fresh delicious food for a reasonable price and served with a smile.

MUCH BETTER!. Let me start by saying that I loved Shawarma station before. However, you could definitely tell the owner was worried about the bottom line a little too much (ie. skimpy on the meat).
The new guys who own this place on the other hand are AWESOME. I couldn't believe the amount of meat they put on! My shawarma had literally doubled in price since these new guys started!

Under New Management. I popped in today, first time I'd been there in a few months.
New owners since about a month ago.. I got a shish tawouk- it was quite good, not as rich as under the Sam regime (maybe less of that spicy hummous, mayve less tahini, I don't know) but also cheaper- I like it.

I just had Shawarma Station for the first time - granted, it cost a few bucks more than what I would have liked to spend, but it was tasty! I had the lamb (large) with a few toppings and sauces and it came to $13. It's Kensington people! I can't imagine how much rent is!
Sam was a real charmer. I appreciate good service. He knew it was my first time there, and let me sample the lamb, tabouli, and a dessert.
I will return based on friendly service and a tasty product!

Lift me up!. Wife and I have been in calgary visiting our son for about a week now. we live in idaho and let me tell you we don't get this kind a food down there. But not to say that i have never had this food, being ex military i have had the luxury of tasting many of the worlds great foods.
I love middle eastern food so i asked my son where a good place to eat is he recomended shawarma station. so we went there and right off the bat we were warmly greeted upon entry of the place. sam is his name, started explaing what the menu was. any who the wife had a sams sandwich all veggie and really tasty (im a meat eater and it was good) and i had the mixed extra large! let me tell you it was LARGE! It filled up even me and thats hard to do in itself! the Mrs and I liked it so much for the past week sam had fed us everyday. next time we are out visiting my son aaron we will definitly be back. i highly recomend this place service was outstanding and the food being so good just made the whole experience that much better Thank you sam from edward and francine
WOW. I was in town, as ilve in lethbridge, and heard about shawarma station. So I thought I would give it a ttry.
Immediatly as i walked in the door I was greeted by a gentleman named Sam. I was very surprised at the reception i received. Very warm and inviting. I have been to alot of places and none ever even said hello!
He let me sample all of the different meats and dolmates before i even ordered!! In the end i got a mixed shawarma with hummus and a really good juice from poland. even had a message under the cap.
As i was eating i noticed that he was giving the same customer service to all the customers. letting them sample everything and very warm and freindly.
food was awsome will be back when in town and next time i will bring the family
Whenever I'm in Kensington I try stop in and visit Sam and have a chicken shawarma. Service and food are always great and that's why my sister and I go as often as possible!
Sam's sandwhich??. Not exactly sure what it's called except Sam's. What an awesome falafel!! The best I've ever had. The service was fantastic and I did not find the prices unreasonable at all for the quality of food. The prices of the extras were VERY clearly marked and my falafel and a bottled water came to just over $10. Well worth the money. I will definitely be back.
Mixed Shawarma. This is a heavenly dish that is best to SUPERSIZE! It has both the mouth-watering chicken and the beautifully seasoned beef!
There are a huge variety of toppings available for this sandwich. Starts with Red Cabage, Lettuce, Tomatoes and then I highly recommend the added charge for the Tabouli, Cheese and Hummous.
This medley of flavours is all wrapped in a delicious pita that is grilled in a panini grill. A definite star dish in Shawarma Station.
Amazed. this is a great place.. Amazed by the tone of the negative reviews. The prices of entrees are posted, as are prices of "extras". would you order at a restaurant without checking the menu?
Anyway, the produce and meat are always fresh, many of the items and sauces are homemade, and the food is great. Most of the drinks are imported. There's a price to that (I don't buy them), and the service can't be beat. I eat there when I can, and never compare it to "fast food". That is a total insult.
Interesting that so many people like it, and I keep seeing familiar faces there, so I guess, like me, they're going back.
Really great. This little place located on 10th street just across from the broken place is fantastic! first of all the service is great, the owner serves you himself and he is so friendly. And the shawarma itself is so tasty, its definitely not small but not too huge either, unless you get the super size, which is a monster. all the ingredients are really fresh, the tabbouli, hummus and cheese are a bit extra but soooo worth it and all home made! the meat is tender and fresh and the sauces are sooooo delicious, and there's quite a variety to choose from . I definitely reccomend this place! great job!
You deserve the best!. After a long day, at 7pm, and only having had breakfast, I needed a good meal, and lots of it.

If you haven't tried them the Lebanese fries come with a tasty and spicy sauce. Just the trick for a fries craving, but wanting something just a little different.
The Lebanese burger was a tasty treat too.
Dessert was a couple of baklava. Not too sweet, or saturated in sugary syrup. Just right.
Throw in a couple of the neat Polish juices Sam carries, and there was supper.
I said I was hungry.... LOL
Sam's Special Sandwich - special indeed. As a vegan, I often feel ripped off by places that cater more to meat-eaters, but this sandwich was the best sandwich I've had in years, especially in comparison to other falafels I've had. The guy serving me was super-friendly and made the sandwich as if it were a piece of art, or maybe a small child ... there was definitely some love mixed in. It was so tasty and I would definitely go back for that sandwich.

Update: I DID go back for that sandwich some months later. I don't know if there was an actual difference or just a perceived one between the first and second sandwich, but the one I had recently was very small for costing me $8.50. Still delicious, though. Their falafels are magical. Service is also still incredibly friendly.

Delicious. I've been going to shwarma station for a few years now and I've never been dissapointed. The food is always hot, fresh, and tasty. Whilst there are cheaper shwarma shops within a few minutes, none of them seem to have the light, hearty, crisp flavour of shwarma station. The red cabbage is nice, the meat's never dry or too spicy, and the toppings put on are delicious. I reccomend this place to anyone and i'll be grabbing my dinner there in a few minutes.
