Great service, great pizzas. Staffs are very friendly as well. Would recommend to anyone!
Love the pizza and service here! The staff is very friendly.
Was looking for a new pizza joint and came across WPE. Ordered delivery of "House" special, "Hawaiian", wings and Greek salad. Arrived to door in what seemed to be a reasonable amount of time. All were of above average quality. Will probably order from WPE again.
Not very often I write reviews but Western Pizza deserves it! I even had to download an app and sign up for this lol
Love thier food! We have tried the pizza, subs, breads and pastas. Not only is the food great but EVERY time we have called in the customer service has been AMAZING. The guys on the other end of the phone always have something funny to say. The customer service is exceptional with the harvest hills location. Love ordering from here.
Keep up the great work staff
Best pizza in Calgary. This is absolutely the best pizza in Calgary. Very generous amounts of cheese, sauce is rich and generous and toppings are so fresh but the taste is the big deal. Nothing compares....not even close.
Their pizzas are very good! The crust is nice and crispy and the pizza is loaded with toppings! I will definitely order from here again.
The pizza was great. The wings were garbage and the service was mediocre.
Delicious pizza!! But their three way chicken club is amazing! The Aries fries & meat the fries are also to die for!
2 THUMBS UP!. BEST PIZZA!
Best Pizza around. After Reading Tunit's review, I had to go check it out myself. It took me a little bit to find the store as it is behind the Flight Deck Bar but once I arrived, it was well worth the trip. I was able to talk to one of the owners and they gave me a quick run down of where Western Pizza originated. It has been around since 1976 and started in Regina so if tenure is an indication, this must be good pizza. There are 10 of these stores in Regina and for a city of 200,000, they sure do a lot of business. I guess with so many people in Calgary who originated in Saskatchewan, Western Pizza was a good choice to open shop.
I wasnt sure what to order but the owner suggested the Western Round Up which is considered to be the "all dressed" pizza in Regina. It had Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Ham, Garlic Coil, Green Peppers and White Onion. My intention was to take it home but 15 minutes later, I had to try out one piece and all I can say is WOW. I burnt the roof of my mouth as the cheese was piping hot and plentiful, the sauce was the die for and all the flavours of the meats and veggies was something else. Oh, did I mention this 10inch pizza was half to 3/4 inch thick in toppings?? I didnt find it greasy as Tunit mentioned so was happy about that. I did find it moist from the water that was released from the mushrooms and other veggies but the pizza still held its own. But I didnt really care as this was the best pizza I have tasted in a long time. The cheese was a combination of soft, creamy and stringy which was really nice to see instead of the hard cheese you find at the common pizza places.
The cost of this pizza came to just under $16 with tax but that didnt concern me one bit. The 10inch pizza would easily feed 2 people unless you were starving or in my case, just had to keep eating more and more pieces. The crust was something else as well. Fresh as can be and very tasty. The owner indicated that his staff could simply eat the crust all day long with little toppings if they had to.
Afterwards, I spoke to another staff member and she says the owner I spoke to is always trying out new pizzas. He has made pizza from Duck, Chicken Wings, Eel and Fish to name a few. That kind of shocked me but then again, the owner was Chinese and they are located beside an Asian supermarket, that being T&T Supermarket. I asked how those turned out and they said the Duck, Chicken WIng and Fish pizza was surprisingly good and considered to be near the top of their favorites. I, along with pretty much everyone else likes Chicken so the next time I go, I will try to convince the owner to make a Chicken Wing pizza for me.
To sum it up, you have to try Western Pizza in Harvest Hills if you love a really good pizza.
I also joined their online club as they give away free pizza each month and they also have some other cool things like event tickets to give away. Their website is www.westernpizzacatering.com if you are looking for the full menu. The only problem with this store is they are Saskatchewan Roughrider Fans but I wont hold that against them since the pizza is the best around.
