Rio pizza Management. We have to clarify some comment in one of the review by Heather Denham dated 2012. The customers posted a negative review because they mistakenly posted a comment which supposed to be directed to the Centre St Rio Pizza. Unfortunately they posted it at the Temple drive location. The Centre St location was the only one with a female manager and we did not clarify since at that time that location is still affiliated with the Rio Pizza chain. Things then got worse and worse and they are now no longer a part of the Rio Pizza chain. Rio Pizza will do the best to provide the best food and services possible.

My neice wanted to buy the family late night pizza with her very own money she saved. When i asked why the pizza was more than what my menu stated she ripped a strip off me because my menu was old and was very rude. I cancelled my order, and she called back just to yell at me and tell me i can not afford to eat there so dont ever call back again. Rudest lady ever!!! That was my very first experience, and my last!!!!!!!!! Clearly she is the broke one working at a pizza joint...just sayin'.....haha

Wicked Good !! Finally real pizza in whitehorn. Awesome!! no more crappy pizza mill pizza, lived in this neighborhood for years and never new Rio pizza was even here, fast very friendly service ,pizza was hot and ohh soo tasty!! fantastic thick crust cooked just right, generous fresh toppings and a nice thick layer of golden brown cheese!! i know where my pizza cravings will be satisfied from for now on! will recommend Rio pizza to my friends and neighbors in N.E. Calgary.
Best! Pizza ever been eating it since I was a kid and shared rios with lots of friends and they all like it a lot

Great Pizza. We have been getting pizza from Rio Temple as long as they have been open. When we have family get togethers everyone votes for Rio. They will even come in early for us when we are having functions and need our Pizzas
before they open.. Best in the West--Great service--great food--Great Prices.

Wish We Would Have Found This Place Years Ago. We have lived down the street from Rio pizza for three years and just discovered it a month ago.
First of all the pizza is delicious. Second, it is cheap. Not sure why some comments suggest it's expensive. You can order a large pizza for like $15 and get the second one for $3. Third, it's FAST. They had it to my door in about 20 minutes. The one time they said it might be an hour, they called 30 minutes later to say it was ready.
If you want to try something slightly different than your standard pepperoni pizza, build your own pizza with thin crust, italian sausage and feta cheese....it's soooo good!

Not your average pizza. Such good pizza, slightly over priced but makes you never want to go back to the chain pizza places
Cheap and Delicious. The Rio Pizza I'm reviewing here is located on Centre Street (and 26th Ave) NE. They still have the second pizza for 99 cents. They still have thick or thin crust. The prices are just unbeatable for what you get.
I wouldn't call it gourmet pizza (Go to Rea's on Edmonton Trail or Il Centro in SW for the best Italian pizzas). Rio is great order in type pizza when you're too lazy to cook, watching the hockey game and having a few beers or just feeling like some good, greasy pizza. It's cheap and very satisfying.
Try these:
Thick crust Hawaiian Deluxe (back bacon, ham and pineapple)
Thin crust Italian sausage and banana peppers
Thick crust Greek (spinach, feta, black olives)
Thin or thick crust salami, green peppers and banana peppers
Best Pizza in Calgary. Favorite Pizza in Calgary, the thin crust is unbeatable! Second pizza for 99 cents!! Reasonably prices, and take my word for it, try the thin crust, anyone I have every suggested it to (Hate thin crust or not) Falls in love!
Best Pizza In the Northeast!!!!. When I use to live in the community of temple i was maybe 8 years old, and we use to order from this pizza take out every friday and it was a treat for us brothers we use to love it we use to order the hawaiyan and the vegetarian with ham and we use to make them Hot , and we just use to walk there and pick it up ... and it was Then the best and still is the best pizza nothing has changed it is soo different it is homecooked pizza they use the old pizza ovens like in the old days so they cook it slow, these days pizza franchizes just pop it on a conveyer belt and it comes out in like 10 minutes but this is old fashioned pizza. I cant describe the taste but we still love it we still order and we love the taste of Rio's pizza. and I highly reccomend it because they are making one damn good pizza...
