Via Cibo 14th Street serves delicious Italian street food-inspired dishes in the cozy comfort of a restaurant. We went to Via Cibo on a Tuesday evening, and the restaurant wasn’t too busy. There are also many tables and seats, so you shouldn’t have to wait for a table. Everything we had was delicious! The piadina was a bit messy to eat, but very flavourful. I loved the juiciness of the grilled portabello! The bruschetta was perfectly crispy and light. My friend enjoyed her gnocchi, and you’ll love it if you love cheese.
Always great pizza! Their lunch specials, daily specials and happy hour pizza prices are such a good deal too ($8 pizzas and $4 beer or wine). I live nearby and this is always my go to place for quickly prepared food that is high quality.
I ordered take out so I cannot speak to the actual location or service there but I liked the food, especially for the prices! I ordered a kids meal pizza for $8 which included 4 Nutella filled warm donuts :)
I also ordered the spicy sausage penne pasta which I asked for extra spicy and I must say that it was! I only wish it had a bit more sauce and cheese. The pizza was quite good and those donuts !
Just ate here for the first time last night and it was fantastic! The prices are good and the food is delicious. We were skeptical about the to-go) style of things since we were eating in but it actually turned out to be a great experience with much more personal and attentive service than we were expecting. This could have been because it wasn't busy at all, it might be different on a busy night. Looking forward to going back.
I am an Italian food fanatic and I am always looking for new places to try. I had heard lots of friends talk about Via Cibo, but I was reluctant to give it a try. One day, I saw that this new location popped up on 14th street, so I thought I had to give it a try. I am so happy that I stopped!! First of all, I was blown away by the decor! It gave the restaurant a comfortable feel and I loved it. I had an espresso and ordered the Gnocchi for lunch. The espresso was brewed perfectly and had a nice, fruity taste. Don't even get me started on the Gnocchi. I usually don't like mixing tomatoes and cream, but Via Cibo made me put my apprehensions aside and give it a try. I will definitely be back with all of my friends! Don't miss out on Via Cibo! I offers authentic Italian food at very affordable prices.
