Really neat little mom and pop shop. Pizza here will cost you more than dominos and pizza73 but once you taste the difference you will never go back.

Fresh Ingredients, Right Sized Pizzas. Considering that I have never heard of Demetris until a family friend recommended it, I decided to try something basic, such as the Demetris Classic. I was very impressed with the freshness of the ingredients, great pepperoni, great mushrooms, lean cheese, and of course, not so sour tomatoes. Also, unlike in previous reviews, I did not encounter any problems with the owners at all. I will definitely come back for another one.
I like them. Pizza is great. Last time, the lady basically chased me down as I left to give me free baklava. Not mad at that!
Greasy goodness!. If you like a crispy crust and a greasy pizza, give this a go. Full of flavor and interesting combinations, although put the calorie calculator away, hahaha. None the less, truly enjoyed it!
Classic Mom and Pop Shop. Ok, this pizza is greasy and utterly delicious, if you're craving something light maybe try another joint. But if you want classic Greek family pizza- this is it. The owners are a bit crusty, but that's part of the charm, and they're always swamped (good sign) so I'd be edgy too. Sauce and crust are both delicious, and olive oil is good for you right? You might feel guilty, but you'll eat it. All of it.
Rude Wife. The pizza here is excellent - just avoid the owner's nasty wife. She is a piece of work - very rude and not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Would definitely order again and again in spite of her as the pizza is that good!
Good Crust!. Stopped into Demetris based on the approval rating on Urbanspoon. There was a lot of traffic coming in and out while we were there. One of the regulars was kind enough to tell us about some of her family's favorites while she was waiting for her order.
The pizza seemed to take a little longer than some other places that I've been to, but the wait was worth it. The crust on both the Stampede Steak and the Spinach & Feta Vegetarian were really good. Very crunchy and the middle wasn't soggy at all even with all the toppings piled on.
We were aware of the comment regarding the owner's wife before we stopped in so we weren't sure exactly what to expect, but she seemed to be ok when she took our order. Maybe she was just having a bad day that time?
Anyways, we were glad we took a chance on Demetris. Can't wait to try out some of the other pizzas on their menu.
Yummy!!. Just moved to Calgary and was told about Demetri's from a co-worker. A family run pizza shop with very sweet owners and an extensive pizza menu.
I had the spinach and feta vegetarian and it was loaded with toppings!! Wasn't greasy and cooked to a golden brown.
Will definitely be coming back.
