One of the best Shawarma places in the city! Love both the platters and the donair wraps with beef & chicken being my favorite. Consistent with great flavors and always satisfies my cravings.
I think I finally found a place where the shawarma is pretty close to how it is made in the Middle East. I always order the chicken shawarma plate and the meat is really juicy & tender! I say this because in most other Middle Eastern restaurants in Calgary, I always thought that the food lacked something - the Middle Eastern factor or whatever you want to call it. Service is good and price is reasonable.
I love this place! This is definitely one of my top 3 favourite shawarmas in Calgary. I usually get the chicken, and it's super delicious. The service is pretty good too, every time i've been there the staff were friendly and fast. You also get a lot of food for the price you pay. For anyone who like's Jimmy's/Cedar's deli, you definitely have to try this place out.
Been here today at around 8:30 in the evening. The place is quite small and was empty. We tried the chicken shawarma wrap,beef&lamb shawarma wrap and chicken lamb beef platter. We had the large wrap and it was so filling couldn't finish it alone. The meat was juicy,tender and flavorful. Loved the rice and hummus. Loved the food and it's pocket friendly.
A friend suggested to come to the place and I gotta say it's the best shawarma place in Calgary. Will definitely be back. Loved the rice and the hummus.
The best place for shawarmas in #yyc. I always get their medium chicken shawarma and its filling! Costs only about $7-$8. The staff is always generous with the meat and the veggie toppings. It's clean. Though it's at a busy plaza & there's usually a line up around 5-7pm, the wait is worth it! also the shawarma platters are good.
So glad that they open a location by my place! I have tried the one in 17 ave, and the food here just taste the same! The only thing that i could complain about is the place is too busy, and sometime they just messed up my orders
Our go-to place when we're around the area. Huge serving, very generous with the toppings and the donair is really delicious! Although the service is not the best, the restaurant is actually clean so that makes it alright.
Best donairs I have had in a long time. The toppings are always fresh and the meat is always seasoned well. They're very consistent with the flavour and, with the exception of one grumpy girl, the staff is friendly and quick. Too bad it's getting too popular and there's usually a lineup now. Well worth my $7.50, always come back for more!!
We have eaten here a couple times since they've opened and are very impressed! Service was great, people are very friendly and the food tastes delicious! Beef platter has lots of food for the price and everything tasted great! Donairs were great too! Baklava was really good as well!
