Been here tons, always suggest it to people. I've never had a bad experience; sometimes the servers are a kind of rude, but that's life. Doesn't change the fact that their food and presentation is well done
It's really good to eat there ,delicious food and cozy place.I give 5 star.

Food and service was good. We're satisfied with the service, we did'nt wait for the food to be served.
super easy to select and order food! so comforting to eat at your own pace without being 'watched over' to rush you. attentive service with a smile. will always be on top of the 'go-to' list.
For an AYCE? AMAZING! Their cuts of sashimi are always thick and very fresh. Normally with an ayce presentation is thrown out the window. I love they still care how they prepare everything and present it.
Coconut shrimp is to die for, the menu is huge. There is no way you can try everything on the menu if you ate here every day for an entire week. If you like thai, chinese, or japanese, you'll have some wonerful food here!

Very similar to sushi one but good options and good sushi. Quick and easy service and you can pick your own food. And keep ordered if you're still hungry. Will be back as we live down the block.
Reasonable pricing for sushi buffet in Calgary with quite a variety of options! The service wasn't that good but it was quick and the food was fresh.
This is a great place to stop by for AYCE sushi if you're in the area. I enjoyed the fact that I could order through the iPad and add items directly, rather than having to wait for a server to come by for the next round. The food arrived at the table extremely fast, which is a huge plus when you're starving. Their menu has a good selection of items which pleased everyone at the table. Compared to other AYCE sushi restaurants, the fish here tasted much fresher. The plates on the table were cleared promptly as we finished each plate and the servers were very polite. I would come back here again.
The restaurant looked great and had a really nice and efficient way of ordering based on an iPad! Great AYCE place! The food was delicious (other than this one roll with cream cheese...would not recommend) However, the service was very clearly lacking (servers did not show hospitality when bringing food and awkwardly hovered by our table). Despite this, it's a nice place to go and enjoy loads of food!
I have been here about 5 times and this is due to the fact that I love that they have other options other then sushi for my hubby . I love my sushi and he likes Chinese so here you can get both . Win win :) I actually like their Thai and Chinese food better then their sushi though . I order say a spicy roll and it comes with 6 huge filling pieces . they need to calm down on the rice it's too heavy ! I mean they probably do that on purpose because it's all you can eat but ya . I really like their tempura shrimp and fried rice though id go back for that alone . 17 for lunch isn't bad I haven't eaten the dinner menu yet which has alot more options. The staff are not friendly at all . I don't think I received a single smile in all 5 times I have visited this restaurant. The décor is very nice and the iPad system is the best ! Don't really have to deal with the servers so whatever lol
Bluefin is possibly the best AYCE sushi I have had in the city. I am unsure why there are so many negative reviews about this place. I came to Bluefin on a Saturday evening with my family for dinner. All 6 of us enjoyed our meal and want to go back. We found that ordering your food via ipad is not only a great tool for the customer but it allows the flow of food out of the kitchen to happen much more quickly. We ordered our appetizers and had them at our table no more than 3 minutes later. The overall quality of food was pretty good for what you may expect for an AYCE establishment. The selection/menu is quite extensive and they have a picture for every item so you know what to expect. Service was pretty standard all night with semi friendly staff that seem disconnected from the clientele due to every table placing orders on devices rather than with the waiters/waitresses. The decor and mood is definitely more modern and was a pleasant surprise. My biggest issue was with the cleanliness of the restaurant, especially the washrooms. Overall it was a good meal and I can't wait to go back.
The menu is
very extensive (over 100 items), while provides simplicity & easiness of
buffet (meaning ALL U Can Eat), all orders are "A La Carte" made to your order
& they keep bringing dishes as you continue to order off the IPad menu. New
idea of service that we've tried this X-mas break & quite liked it. Wish there would be an option to check off the order as they bring ready dishes, so you know if have received everything or still some to come. Place is newly renovated, very clean (haven't made to washrooms though...yet), staff is very quick & friendly. Made a reservations for an upcoming event with group of friends to try it 2nd time & looking forward to it!!
Its my first time to dine here and loving the serving size not too big but just enough to enjoy the meal at a very resonable price. The FOOD is awesomely good and will recommend for all price conscious jap food lovers . . .
Bluefin is beautiful on the inside. It has tons of sushi and Thai food to select from. Their washroom was surprisingly narrow but that doesn't really matter because the food is good.
Our first time here tonight and it was good. Server asked if we have been there and we said no. She went to explain how the ordering off the iPad worked. We got our drinks quickly and took our time looking at the menu. I liked how there was different catagories and lots of selections with pictures and listed what was in the rolls. The restaurant is spacious and the booths we sat in where comfortable. I would definitely come back again.
For AYCE, the place was mostly good. Maybe it was a good day, since many others had issues with the restaurant.
For my experience, the food was quite good. Minus the meat selection, the ribs tasted like grade B beef. The ipad menu makes it easy to order and wait, so service wasn't really necessary. Food came out prompt, with a wait no more than 10 minutes, and the whole restaurant was packed!
Regarding service though, it was a bit odd... you always get different servers, rather than having the same one checking on you. We were lucky to have gotten drinks immediately, but refills were overlooked. There was a woman bringing out food for us and seemed puzzled with this extra dish that she placed on our table. However she only spoke Mandarin, and not a lick of English. Rather than taking it away, she just left it on our table despite the fact we didn't order it. Still we ate it, knowing full well that not consuming it would put additional cost to our tab.
Overall, come here to hangout and get people full. It's all you can eat, and having fresh food that we had is honestly a miracle. It's not cheap, but you'll spend more time socializing with your group rather than the servers. You'll enjoy yourself more that way!
Place was pretty good for an all you can eat sushi. It's 17 bucks and you can eat 90 percent of the things on the menu including stir-fries soups and spring rolls. Give it a try, but stay away from the crispy rolls as they are just filled full of tempura crisp and it's gross it'd the best place if you don't want to drop more than 20 bucks and go home stuffed
I am a huge fan of ayce sushi and when this opened I had to try it. The presentation catches the eye and I believe that's what brings people back. The freshness of the sushi isn't always consistent and the kitchen food is way too oily. I had more hopes since the presentation made it look upscale.
Good for all you can eat sushi, just stick to ordering things that would otherwise be pricey like sashimi and avoiding things that would fill you up unnecessarily like cones and you'll earn your money back, The iPad idea is nice to order so it's not awkward ordering seconds, thirds, fourths, etc. The food comes by pretty quick anyways. It has a large seating area so it's also ideal for gatherings or groups.
I love it here! Food was good for ayce but more importanlty the service was awesome! Even if I love om the other side of the city, I will be coming back!
My new favor place in town. My friend brought me there for dinner tonight and i loved it. We found the staff to be very courteous and attentive. We loved the way of ordering through ipad and food came really fast, left very full after just two rounds. The rolls was delicious and decorated. We are define it going back and can't wait to try more menu items. My new favor place for sushi now.
Recommend. For all you can eat, this is quite up there! Everything came out hot and fresh. The sashimi was good quality and freshness. also there are thai food and chinese food a lot of selections.Love the ipad ordering system, easy and simple to use by clicking the items you want. Service is excellent especially Eddie and Tina. Polite, friendly and prompt with our requests .Last of all Coconut shrimp and mango tango was my fav, just love the taste.
Best AYCE sushi in Calgary.. My friend and I have been going for sushi dates for almost 4 years now. We have tried every place in Calgary that offers AYCE sushi. Yes, even the new ones. Blue Fin was excellent. Our regular choice is Sushi Ichiban on Macleod Trail. However, both of us have agreed to switch to Blue Fin. The restaurant was nicely decorated. The sashimi was cold and was generously sized. And, they had a decent selection. Can't wait to go back!
