I understand that everyone's experience at any restaurant can differ depending on circumstances or how busy the restaurant is etc. But I must say a HUGE thank you to Moxie's on Macleod and specifically our server who's name I believe is Dani, as she absolutely made our night. We had reservations at The Broken Plate in Willow Park this past Saturday. It was a special date night as my husband just graduated and we hadn't been out in quite sometime as he was finishing up school. We were so looking forward to this night out only to be treated very disrespectful at The Broken Plate. We walked out and figured our night was shot as it's next to impossible to walk in anywhere on a Saturday night around 6pm in Calgary. We ended up at Moxie's, a place we never go, and were floored. We sat in the lounge at a big beautiful booth, awesome music and the friendliest server. Then came the food.....it was amazing, I was shocked. My steak rivaled The Keg. Can't say enough good things about this location or our server and I hope our tip showed how much we loved it! Great job Moxie's and Dani! And thank you for saving our night! We will be back soon!
Absolutely great food!! Theres something for everyone and all their deserts are to die for. Loved the atmosphere and loved the service. I will for sure be back.

Good service, good food and good drinks. Just out of things that were wanted at the time but the atmosphere is always friendly. Will be back as we live in the area
Caught up with a friend tonight so grabbed dinner and drinks here. Belinis were on special which was great. Their belinis are so tasty, has alcohol but not too sweet. Ordered their beef dip which was excellent - served on a tasty pretzel bun, with horseradish, mushrooms and roast beef (not the deli meat warmed up, actual thinly sliced beef from a roast). This was an excellent meal and cost just over $20 which is incredibly fair. Will definitely be back.
This is a bit of an upscale family restaurant. They've recently updated their menu with a few more interesting items, including the tuna poke in a jar (pictured). It was delicious as well! Both of our mains were also well done. We both felt like Moxie's is trying a bit hard for what it is, and the clientele showed. We were there amongst a few young families, and then a large table of teen girls. It was an odd mix. Overall though, the service was very good, the meals great, and maybe only slightly overpriced. While it was good, there's much better places to go in Calgary.
Great family dinner! ... Had a family dinner for 10 for my mother's birthday. Staff was friendly, and attentive to my daughter's allergy. Chicken n' ribs was tasty, and my ride enjoyed the Red Chilli Curry dish. We were not impressed with the salted caramel-pecan cheesecake, the evening's only low point. Others at our table seemed to really enjoy the seared tuna salad and steak salad. Kids meals were ok. Will go back again.

Mosaic dip was amazing, but penne a touch undercooked.
Overall would go back and will definitely get that dip again.

I went to Moxies Southport with a friend for lunch on Friday and was pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our lunch. We both had the chicken lettuce wraps which were absolutely delicious. There is more to them than just noodles and chicken, there is a variety of fresh crunchy vegetables as well as a delicious soy ginger sauce and pickled veg. On the appetizer menu but absolutely enough for a meal. We were also impressed with the service, although I have always found the service at this restaurant to be very fast and friendly.
Great service!. We ordered cream broccoli soup and calamari and my husband ordered their steak.
Food is great and the service is fast and outstanding!

Good food terrible parking lot!. Anyone who has ever been here knows the parking lot stinks. It's not a good impression and you'd think they would have improved it after all these years.
Moxie's has pretty standard all around good food. It's a nicer restaurant atmosphere but they still have a special kids menu so it's nice for getting out with kids or without!
Best. I have visited the Southport Moxies numerous times and have never had a problem. Not only are the hostessess very accomedating but the service is phenomenal. Every chance I get I come here. They've completly undergone a recent staff change and it was fantastic. They are always happy and the wait time in next to none. I've been here in a large group and a small one and we've never had a problem. The food is always the best and they're always so good to me and the other regulars. I will always come here and reccomend it to all my friends.
Dinner. I enjoyed a terrific meal last night. The service was exceptional. I was greeted with wine tasting at the door and received a table immediately. The drinks and food were fast and delicious. The service was excellent and i look forward to returning.
