Everyone in the restaurant was attentive and friendly. The food was amazing and the portion sizes seemed fair. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed.
Food is fantastic, staff are wonderful, and fair pricing. Well worth the visit.

Neighbourhood gem! A family owned and run restaurant. I've eaten here 4x, tried something different every time, and always had a good meal. Tip: try the bougatsa for dessert. Delicious and I've never had anything like it.

The "BEST" Greek place in Calgary !!!. I used to dine at the old 14 ST SW location for years and was pleased to find out that they had re-opened in Altadore a while back.
Same owner, same food, same atmosphere, and same experience. Absolutely awesome !! It seems that Greek restaurants here come and go after a while, but Pegasus has survived the test of time, which is what defines a restaurant that gets called "the best". Had dinner there last week with my wife.....we had .Keftedes, Saganaki, pitas with hommous, Moussaka and the Chicken Souvlaki, which were all cooked to perfection. You will not be disappointed.
Pegasus still delivers. 30+ years; still the same family owners. dinner for six the other night. service was excellent. wine list is short and primarily greek but the malbec we ordered was good value. the food was overall very good. the lamb chops were tough but the owner immediately replaced with lamb shoulder which was really good. souvlaki and mousakka were very good; cooked to tender, juicy perfection. the greek salad that came with the entrees was very small and sad but you have the option of upsizing which would have been a good idea. We'll be back.

BEST GREEK PLACE IN TOWN.....!!!. Been going to Takis' place since he started up almost 30 years ago back on 14th Street SW............now that I literally live 5 minutes away by car from his new location in Altadore, my wife and I go there once a month.
Bring a hearty appetite and a make sure you are thirsty......then take a cab home. There is nothing in this world that cannot be cured by a few hours nibbling at their saganaki, keftedes, pita and hummus , calamari, souvlaki or moussaka, and then some dessert and a few shots of Grand Marnier afterwards. Oh yeah....a couple of litres of ice cold Restina makes it 100% authentic.
You won't be disappointed !!! Love the patio too......!!!

Transports you right to Greece. This place is HIGHLY underrated in my opinion. Went here based on a recommendation from a friend, since I've been on a search for some great Greek food in Calgary that could be comparable to the delicious Greek eats that can be found in Toronto. And....I am delighted to say that I have found it! Pegasus is a charming little place that is modern and classy, but also evokes a feeling of being in Greece through the pictures, sculptures and the very friendly service. My friends and I were promptly seated and we quickly noticed that this place is quite busy even on a Wednesday night. We had the pleasure of being served by the owner's daughter and her service and food recommendations were on point. We had tyropita and spanakopita to start-both flaky, piping hot with fresh fillings. For mains we all had the award-winning moussaka, and it lived up to its reputation. We also had sides of the delicious potatoes and one really good Greek salad. I've seen reviews that complain that some of the dishes do not come with sides, but I feel that the attempt to have a family style dinner (as is common in Greece) is being missed by those reviewers. All of the food was fresh, well seasoned and very yummy. We even had the owner come buy and check to see how our meal was going. Yet another authentic Greek touch. And on top of it all, he made a recommendation for dessert-the absolutely delicious bougatsa- and then he treated us to it! Wonderful meal and experience. Looking forward to sharing it with friends and family.
This Moussaka Hit the Spot.. Went here for girls night with a few friends, the restaurant was half full when we arrived, but people just kept trickling in-unbelievably busy neighborhood joint. Pretty impressive for a Wednesday night. We had the phyllo stuffed with cheese and the spanakopita to start, both were amazing. I was weary of ordering mains with no Greek salad included (as I'd read in previous reviews), but they give you the option of adding a greek salad for $1.50, which wasn't bad at all considering how good the salad was. Lots of feta and great tasting olives, so delicious. Had the moussaka, which wasn't greasy or heavy like at other places. Excellent choice! The portion was massive too. The service was great, the server had a wonderful personality and the owner came over and personally greeted us and made dessert recommendations. Overall,I've this is officially my FAVOURITE Greek join in the city.
SO good!. Came here for the first time and ordered a bunch of appys. They were ALL delicious. Especially the Saganaki. Best greek I have ate outside of Greece.
Service was fantastic and our waiter even brought us 2 complimentary shots of Sambuca at the end of our meal. He had great recommendations and was very knowledgeable.

Excellent Service and Delicious Food. I just want to start off by saying that our server was amazing! Not only did he give us a great wine recommendation, but he worked with the kitchen to modify some of the menu items to meet my special dietary needs. Not only was he very knowledgeable, but he was also very attentive, and provided top notch service.
The food was fresh, delicious, and plentiful! I promise that you will not leave here hungry.

New location; Still the best in town!!. My girlfriend and I used to frequent this restaurant when it was in its old location on 14th st. We were absolutely THRILLED to hear from friends that it had re-opened a few years ago in a more convenient location in Altadore! So of course we rushed down to see. Great parking and a patio!! Maybe the only 2 things the old resaurant was missing!
Still having that same cozy and romantic feel with an aroma of that delicious and authentic food as soon as you walk in. Authentic music, feel and food. What more could you ask for! Warm friendly service? They had that to!
Excited, we ordered our favourite dishes; Saganaki (of course, which they now offer to flame - awesome!) Spanakopita, the trio of dips and kalamari! AMAZING! If not better then before. My girlfriend ordered the prawns pegasus with greek salad and rice and I, the mousaka. Savoury and delicious! Better then I remembered! We didn't save room for desert because we were so excited to have the food again but we have reservations for next week and are going to try the other mouth watering options we saw on the menu!

Great food, friendly staff and reasonable price. I have been eating at Pegasus once a week for over a year. I always get the same thing - Kleftiko with salad, and it is absolutely a delicious slow roasted lamb dish. The food is always fresh, and the staff are prompt and courteous, and the ambience is very relaxed. One of my favourite restaurants in town.

Great Greek!. I went to Pegasus last night and my meal was fantastic! Definitely the best Greek food in Calgary, and I recommend the kleftiko to anyone who loves tender lamb. The atmosphere was very authentic, it almost felt like I was in the Mediterranean. All the staff were very gracious and even though it was a busy night, they were on top of things the whole time. I'll be back again soon!
Nice to see it back in a better location. The 14th street location was good in the old days but the area had gone sleazy and parking impossible. This is a destination location off the beaten path and we hope it does well. Fresh pita good food, friendly happy staff. Salads and
