Been going here for a VERY long time. It has average pho but some of their other dishes are very tasty like the lemongrass chicken, beef/pork with rice vermicelli, etc. Lots of seating, never seen this place get really busy. The staff is very courteous and sometimes when I'm really busy at work and I need to bring work with me, they have no problems with me working on my laptop even after I'm done eating. Overall, average pho, speedy service, and courteous staff. If you come here often, they know exactly what you want once you sit down.
We drive to castleridge often to have pho at Saigon passion even though it's out of the way for us. This pho place is that good. There is a large variety of bun, pho, specialty soups, fried rice and Vietnamese wraps to choose from. The ladies there are super friendly and the portions are pretty big. One of our favorites!
Came here for lunch today. This is one of my favor pho place in town. The service is fast anf the food is traditionally good. And the red been drink is the best in town.
Came here for lunch today and the service was really fast. I have been here 2 times prior. I have had their sate pho and the wraps (make it yourself ones). Very tasty food here. Today i got the regular vermicelli bowls. Sate beef with spring rolls. The sate was good and not overly spicy. The spring rolls were very crispy. I got the veggie ones. My co worker ordered the pineapple bubble tea and it was her first time trying it. She did not like it and i had a sip. It was sooo sweet almost tasted like medicine lol. besides the bubble tea everything else was good. :)
I will have to go back another day to try out a proper meal. Today I only had time to grab salad rolls and go ! The salad rolls were delicious - super fresh and likely just made when I ordered them. It's a old Ricky's location so the restaraubt is quite big !
Have tried many other pho spots a lot closer to where I live. Now I just make the trip across the city to the best pho in town at saigon passion!
I love this place so much. I'm living in the SW but my family and I always go to this restaurant every week. The food is really tasty. The service is wonderful. Every time we go there for lunch or even dinner, they're always busy. We have to wait like 15-20mins for the food but we are still happy because the way they serve it. We would love to bring our friends to this place. The best vietnamese restaurant in Calagary
The best pho in a long time. Our favourite pho place closed down and we've been looking around for a long time for good pho, was constantly disappointed with other restaurants until we found this place.
The deluxe pho is huge and yummy! The satay chicken pho is delicious! Tastes very authentic, and the best satay soup I ever had. I like how the soup is hot when they bring it out.
We also tried the wraps dish, it was good but wish they offered more meat for the price.
The pork chop and steamed rice dish was the only disappointment, the pork chop was pretty black.
This place is a bit of a drive for us but its worth it for the good pho!

What happened!!!!?????? Went to try out new pho places closer to home and was disappointed! This place still tastes the best! But what happened???? Recently we had take out and the portion shrunk dramatically like almost 50%!!!!!!! I have seen places where they give little meat but fill the bowl with noodle! But this time was little meat and little noodle! Even noodles they had to cut back on???
They however enlarged the bean sprouts portion in place of noodle and meat!
Awesome.. It's hard to find a good Pho place these days but this one is definitely one of my favorites. The food was great and large portions, I find that most places decreased their portion sizes in the last couple years. Big bowls of noodles and rice, lots of veggies and no mystery meats involved. The only thing I would say is it should have had more chicken and beef in our bowls but not overly a huge deal. I've been to a lot of horrible pho places lately, like the other pho place around the corner, it was absolutely terrible we sent our food back and went here instead!
Will definitely be a returning customer, food is great so far.
Good stuff. Nice flavorful broth, quality ingredients, good price. Staff indifferent t me but doing back flips for the regulars. Food was good, so I'll get over it...
Hubby & I just tried this place for the first time. I had a 506 and hubby had 812. The food was not bad, hubby thought the beef was very tender but the broth wasn't great. Mine was ok, but nothing fabulous. We prefer Pho Phu Huong, which is only a minute or two away!
Soup. One of the better places for the Satay soup in the city. If you are like me and dont like when you order a Satay and you get a hardly spicy and very mild flavored soup... then this is the place for you.. packed full of flavor and a good kick of heat make this once of my favourites for sure. I suggest it
Friendly & Good Food. The satay chicken was amazing, my husband always orders the black pepper beef its the best he's ever had. I do find the soup is good but not the best. We still love going there though.
Regular here. One of the better Pho places in calgary because of the satay seafood noodle soup. You can't got wrong with that one. Minus the imitation crab(which I hate to see anywhere!) But hands down this bowl of soup will have anyone coming back. It is sooo good! spicy food lovers... I don't even want to start..:)

Very good food. Me and my family we always go there we love there food and best service
Great Vietnamese restaurant. This is as authentic as it gets in Calgary. Everything above average.
Best food in town you guy should go Here and try
Lots of pho, fresh wraps, and more. Came here with a very large group of people, so I was fortunate enough to get a taste of a few dishes. The restaurant itself is clean, efficient, and the staff friendly.
My Deluxe Beef Noodle Soup was this overwhelmingly large bowl of Pho, which consisted of beef brisket, tendon, tripe, beef balls (not of the reproductive nature), and vermicelli, all basking in the warmth of a soup broth. The brisket is plentiful and delicious, as are the balls. Vermicelli is cooked perfectly, although the tripe was almost lost due to how thinly they were cut. Before eating, I made sure to squeeze in some extra hoisin and chilli sauce (some like it hot).
Their wraps are also very creative, because all of the cooked ingredients are laid before you, and the wrapping is done by one's own hands. This was all new to me, so I made sure each wrap was perfect by having my Vietnamese friend make them.
Overall, I found the food at Saigon Passion very enjoyable. The atmosphere is homely, the staff welcoming, the menu varied, and the service rapid. I will hope to return in the future.
Ive found the ones i like. So today I was really craving spring rolls so im like why not give Saigon passion a shot its kinda risky trying a new restaurant these days , They just aint up to par dont know what their doing , but as we walked in it was really clean , and looked very decent , I ordered my usual when i go to any vietnamese restaurant.. deep fried spring rolls and grilled chicken on vermicilli rice and cut up spring rolls ...all I can say is that Ive found the ones i like.. Spring rolls were crispy and fresh and tasted very very Good..
The chicken vermicilli was nice too i enjoyed them both very much. Its my new fav place for vietnamese...
One of the better Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The food is always fresh and tasty. I'm in love with the BBQ pork chop and quail dish. Soooo good.
The first time I went there was 5 years ago with my family The Food was AWESOME I LOVED IT THE VEGES MEAT
Good. I have yet to come across a Vietnamese restaurant with outstanding food. For my first visit to the Saigon Passion, I choose the Spicy Beef Satay with Spring Rolls on Vermicelli. The amount of heat was just right and the flavors were good. If I was in the mood for vietnamese and was in the neighbourhood, I would return.
