Great food and atmosphere.
Love the chicken melt and LOVE when the have daily food specials, very creative and delicious. Staff are awesome and you can't beat the price!
I would highly recommend this place to anyone and I tell all my friends.

Awesome little pub on the corner that you can come to and have a drink. They have wings on special daily as well as other daily promos. Not super fancy but nice and low key
I held my Company Christmas Party here.
We had the Prime Rib and Chicken Cordon Bleu. The food was fantastic. Tracey our server was out standing she was very professional and looked after all my staff's needs from drinks to coffee's to making sure that we all had a safe ride home. OH I can't forget the CHEESE CAKE YUM YUM my staff and customers loved it. it was karaoke night after our Dinner and it just added to the night it's a great place for a small company to hold there Christmas Party.

Great food! The wings are fantastic and cheap, nachos and fries are delicious. Service usually isnt great, but this is not the reason you go. Flames + Food = Great Success. For a sports bar, Gallaghers is one of Calgary's best kept secrets.

So glad I live near this bar!!. Been coming here for years. drinks are always frosty. wings are always cheap. great daily specials and hd flames games with sound. as I sit at the bar my drink is always ready for me. I work downtown and after seeing some disasters there its always nice to come back to gally's. not sure about some of the comments here. I'm sure even the best 3 star michelin restaurants have their bad days but 4 out of 5 people do recommend this little place.
says a lot about society when people are more likey to leave a negative review than a positive. The owner, zach (who by the way IS NOT a biker not sure what thats about but read below) is always there to make you feel comfortable and welcome. the girls have always been good to me. heck even my wife enjoys coming in here. bottom line is this is the kind of place where there's no b.s. and everyone is real. some of these other people leaving silly comments need to get over themselves (you say you waited 40 minutes for a beer- ya, sure you did buddy. take your over exaggerations get lost. you are a fool)

Great little neighborhood bar. Love coming here ever since I moved to calgary. I come for the cheap wings (which they have every day) and for the ice cold beer. Its a wierd little place because on any given night you'll see guys that work in machine shops, office types, couples, old people, young people. I work late and like the fact that the kitchen stays open until at least 1:30 no matter what.
I had a smelly beer here once but the owner (or manager) told me it was a bad keg. He bought me one the next time I came in and it was fine. I've had no issues with cleanliness aside from the odd mishap in the bathroom (it is a bar after all) i've seen the manager go in and clean up right away if there's a mess. Service has been good most days, you some bad apples here and there but I think they've done some house cleaning as I've seen a few new faces lately. Maybe these last few bad reviews have hit home with the management.
with this new 0.05 limit I like the fact that I can hang out within walking distance of my house and not worry about drinking and driving. Bottom line is, I walk in and my favorite draught is always waiting for me. I chat up some of the regulars at the bar and sometimes shoot some pool with them.
Great little place where I feel welcome - way better than going to someplace where you get served by some dumb girl in high heels who can't even walk in them and they charge $11 for a pint of beer you cant even pronounce.
Gallaghers is great, wings on special everyday. Cheap drinks too. Use to have a great server michelle but i think shes gone now, unfortunetly. Still one of my favs !

GREAT NEIGHBORHOOD PUB!!. I've been coming here for a few weeks now, and every time I leave thinking about my next visit! It's one of the cleanest pubs I've ever been to. They do a great lunch, and happy hour starts around 4, I think. They have a wing night on Mondays and I think Wednesday as well. The service is always great, and the food is always good. Oh, and the kitchen stays open late every night. I think the best part of Gallagher's is that every time I go, I meet someone new which is nice since I am new to the area. The atmosphere is very inviting and people seem to enjoy themselves. I highly recommend this diamond in the rough to anybody!!
