I have been a customer of jons since 2002. They have gone through many changes but the food is always good and I drive from chestermere to get there pizza still because there pizza is still my favorite. I recommend any one give there pizza a try. Service is friendly as well.
So on Friday I ordered a pizza...Sadly after I placed the order via 'skip the dishes' I got a call letting me know they didn't have gluten free crusts on hand. We made arrangements to have my Gluten Free pizza delivered tonight, with some wings and salad thrown in for the trouble... I gotta tell you, that was the best damn pizza I've had in a very long time! Well worth the wait, not to mention you were so awesome on the phone and delivery dude was awesome too! Made me one happy pregnant lady!!! Thank you for being awesome!!

Great Pizza place. My favorite is the Hawaiian. Family run place, I've ordered at least 20 times from them and haven't been disappointed. You have to patient ordering on the weekend peak times. Phone can be busy. Just keep on trying and you'll get through.

It was our first time. Nice to see pizza place similar Atlas pizza. Too bad theres no special pizza of day. Only pick up and delivery. No eat in... liking the Jon's special again and their one topping pizza
This is by far the best Pizza in town. I love the #11 little bit of extra sauce & the tomato cooked in. The chicken wings are crispy as the hot sauce Is tangy and savour.
The best pizza in the SE area . I eat pizza often and It is an amazing pizza . The folks who work there seem fun , pleasant to deal with and take pride in making the pies . Thick , Sask. style kinda pizza . Dough is sometimes a little dense but overall best pizza around this side of the city
We order from Jon's about 2 or 3 times per month. Our favorite is the Western with extra sauce. It always arrives hot and oh, so tasty. The toppings and cheese are very generous in portion. Highly recommend.

We've been ordering from Jon's Pizza for 7 years since we moved into our neighborhood. Not only is it the most amazing pizza in the city, but has the greatest people working there.
So, for the very first time, the call-handler misunderstood my order. When the delivery driver arrived, (we were very hungry), we unfortunately had to send it back and asked for a rush for our actual order. He was very apologetic and called the store immediately.
About 2 minutes later, we received a phone call from the store and the gentleman advised us that our order was priority and he was deeply sorry for the mistake. I let him know that we understood and it was no problem. He then informed me that our order was "on the house", to which I replied, "You don't have to do that! Mistakes happen". He told me that he was the store owner and INSISTED that the store buy us our meals. One misunderstanding in 7 years of ordering from our local pizza place didn't justify it being paid for in our minds, but we sincerely appreciated this gesture.
So KUDOS to Jon's Pizza for such an incredible level of Customer Service; and of course, having the greatest pizza in Calgary! Thank you for everything all these years!
have recently found this gem, and so far it's been great. I have tried 6 of their offerings so far, and all have arrived by a friendly driver, steaming hot, and WAY better than anything else i've seen in the area! by far my favorite is the Jon's Deluxe, with The Western and the BBQ Chicken a close 2nd/3rd. The Taco, Hawaiian Aloha, and The Popeye were also good, I just enjoyed the others more. and if you take the time to chat with the owner, like I did, you'll find out they have all kinds of options for customizing your pizza. while the price is more than the other guys, you get a MUCH better product, that has great flavor and is super filling, so it's worth every penny.
Yup yeah that was good!! Busy place! We ordered the Popeye and Jon's pizza Supreme. It's pricey but very well worth it. Do it, get it. Yummy!!
We ordered from Jon's Pizza tonight and it was actually really good. We will Def be ordering from there again. It was almost comparable to Atlas Pizza.
I've lived in the area for years and never stopped to try the infamous pizza spot that everyone raves about. I did find that the pizza was loaded unlike that of commercial competitors like Pizza 73 or Pizza Hut, etc. The personal touch is apparent, and the potato spring rolls is always something a guy like me can appreciate. Light, flaky exterior leads to a warm comforting smooth mashed potato inside. I'd go back again for another menu tasting.
First time ordering, the pizza is great! Excellent quality meats, sauce and cheeses. The pie is similar to Atlas Pizza, definitely going back.
My extended family seems to love jons. It's ok but not great. Definite step above the papa johns and pizza 73's but not quite there to Sammy's or Mannies. I find the dough just a bit too breadie if that makes sense. I think I'll send that word into websters. It does the job and the pizza is good but like I said, never my first choice.
Just when I thought there was no good pizza down south. Probably one of the best pizzas in Calgary. Recommend the jons deluxe. Great service, hot pizza. :)

These guys are good! We ordered delivery, Jon's called to tell us our pizza would be delayed. Since we had to wait so long our pizza was free. Oh and the pizza is delicious. They were recommended to us after we moved to Calgary, we will be repeat customers!

What pizza place runs out of cheeze??!. Okay - NEVER heard of a pizza joint running out of cheeze. Seriously. Just called to order a pizza for tonight and was so looking forward to it (really is great!), but told they ran out of cheeze. Ummm....don't you monitor it and order BEFORE you run out?? Sheesh. Now I have to go somewhere else and not many choices in the SE for good pizza. Bummed.

Favorite restaurant-pizza ever tried. Pretty flavorful and good sauce on the pizza... pizza came on time, hot n savory and well cooked... the cheese was on the crust too and made it chewy-crispy n cheesy n soooo good... i liked this pizza more than any non chain restaurant (home made fresh style) pizza ive tried in this city.. most of them have this weird taste... in conclusion it was really good. the only thing that irritated me was that they dont like to sell cans of pops for delivery orders.... why not???? weird. but they did it anyways. hope they wont tell me no next time or else thatd definitely bring the cool factor of this new place i found down. very good pizza :)!
Love it! When we want to treat ourselves to a delicious and oh-so-naughty dose of pizza and cheese, Jon's is our place! We always get the Hawaiian pizza because it's too good to be true!
Brilliant, best pizza, super tasty, good quality and value. Awesome service and the crust is to die for. Real down home cheesy pizza at its thick glorious best! The extra spicy was awesome but the greek blew my socks of. Was worth the drive and the early order on a friday! Two thumbs up!!!

Not sure what all the complaints are about with calling in or wait times.
I called in at 930 pm on a Friday and our order was ready in 30 minutes.
This will be our new pizza place from here on in. AMAZING !!!

Amazing Pizza in the SE. Okay, so the pizza down here in the SE isn't good and i've been left with wanting a place that makes good pizza. Thus i turn to Urbanspoon once again. I read all the reviews of Jon's Pizza and finally had to try.
First off i agree the busy tone is quite annoying like others mentioned, however I take that as a good sign meaning people are ordering non-stop. The woman taking my order was polite, courteous and you can't expect more,.
Now the Pizza, we ordered:
All Meat - Great flavor, nicely pilled and more than enough to get your fill. I added extra sauce and it was a meat pie heaven.
Hawaiian Halloa - Okay, this is an amazing pizza. Nice thick chicken chunks, not processed crap, real dark /white chicken meat chunks, ham, pineapple, fresh tomatoes and a drizzle of honey......DROOLING ordering this again for sure.
I will be a Jon's Pizza customer from now on, it simply is a great pie, best in the SE for sure. If you're around the area, or visiting friends looking to get something to eat order from here, get the Hawaiian too.

Great Pizza. We have been ordering pizza from Jon's for a number of years and have always had great service and great pizza.
Very good pizza. Very good.. I haven't tried every pizza joint in town, but I've tried a LOT. This is great thick crust pizza. Their deep dish is also quite good. Lots of good selection, the people are a charm to deal with and the taste.. SO good.
My favourite part is the crust. Favourite flavour? Meditteranean!!!
MMMMM Delicious! Best Pizza In Calgary For Sure!!. This is by far the best pizza we have ever had. We are always 100% satisfied with our order. The flavour and quality of ingredients is amazing - cannot be beat anywhere. So cheesy and the crust is amazing. The service is always great, fast and friendly. Only drawback is on the occasional evening you have to try a few times to get through, as they are very busy. It is well worth the wait. This is by far the best pizza in Calgary!!!

Like it's from my childhood. This pizza must be eaten with a fork. The toppings are generous. Do not eat this pizza with your hands! Crust is so-so.
Can you say CHEESY. Loads of cheese very yummy! A bit on the pricey side.

Amazing. The pizza was soooo good and it had so many toppings on it! we got the deluxe and the meatlovers. Both were wonderful and good the next day too.
