Joey’s Seafood been here forever it seems. Good fish and chips. Been here with friends often but not this year due to COVID19 . We decided to order takeout and ordered a 10 piece meal for three people. Yes it was a lot of food but we are it all. Order came quickly and fish was still hot.
Went tonight had 2 piece pollock with garlic mashed potatoes with gravy (SO GOOD) and side salad (SO BIG AND GOOD) at dinner rush. Everything came out in about 5 minutes or maybe less! Everything was delicious and our sever was so awesome. I don't know her name but she was great. I have never been to this location and will definitely return!
Great food!. Went in at a busy luch time. Order was quick, and staff were friendly. Calamari rings were so good!!! Tacos were filling and tasted great! Difinitely will come back again! Highly recommend!
Awesome food and awesome service! I recommend that everyone try their fish tacos! I will definitely be back again.
Colin Rumary. As a Brit, its hard to get F & C to match the good ol' country, but I have to say this MacLeod Trail restaurant does it for me. Okay, we have had to say goodbye to the usual offering of Cod, but Pollack is a similar fish and does the job for the dinners they serve. I love it, the quality, the quantity, the culture and the atmosphere is a good "chippy" one. They have tried to broaden their offerings, but for me, I go purely for the F & C and I get my regular "hit" at this location. Fish has inevitably gone up in price, but compared to other outlets, and considering all the other good things about the place, this is the place (plaice !) for me. Keep up the good work!
As a seafood lover and a frugal spender, this is definitely my go to place. great service, food is ready in reasonable time, the only thing they need is some lobster.
I have never had a problem with any location I have been too and since this is the one closest to my house I'm putting my review to it. It looks like they recently renovated a bit. Server was young but very friendly and knowledgable and sharp. I do think its overpriced but almost all fish and chips are in Calgary. If you have a craving its not a bad place to come. I really love the mud pie too.
