We were here for a quick dinner. We both had a burger and a beer. The burgers were huge, I had mine with onion rings and my dinner partner had fries and gravy. The burger toppings were all fresh and tasty. Both burgers were good and the beer was cold. No complaints. I can't comment on the the rest of their menu, but what we had was good. The staff were friendly and helpful, but it's a good thing there weren't too many customers or they would have had a hard time keeping up. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Definitely Recommended. This is now my usual spot... friendly service always, decent timing in terms of ordering and getting the food, and a great relaxed atmosphere.
We have eaten several times in the last few months at both Ricky's in Okotoks and at the Chinook Center location. The service and food at both locations has been exceptional. Highly recommended
By far our favourite place to get great diner like food! Burgers are awesome and breakfast is even better. Nobody beats our favourite. A must try for anyone!
Had the Blackstone breakfast bowl. It tasted great but it didn't have much sauce so I ordered a side of Hollandaise sauce ($2.29). I found the prices a little steep. Although it didn't taste too bad, I could go to a nicer restaurant for roughly the same price.
Great Service!. We took Mom out for dinner on Saturday - the day before Mother's Day - hoping to avoid the Sunday crowds. Mom loves liver & onions and Ricky's is one of the few places that serves it and does a decent job of it - so off to Ricky's we went.
Well, I DID want to avoid the crowds, but this was extreme. Ricky's was almost empty....I think there were three, maybe four other tables full when we arrived. I thought, uh oh - the food and/or the service is gonna be a disappointment.
The food was all good - no complaints from anyone at all. Nothing fancy though.
Maybe because the place was so empty, we had excellent service by a very friendly waitress. The portions were huge so a few of us had leftovers to take home. It was nice to see that they had taken the care to separate the cold from the warm, placing the salad in a separate container than the warm food. Many places wouldn't have bothered and instead simply shovel it all in to one.
I have no idea why it was so deserted in there...soon we were the only table left!
If this location lasts, we'll be back again.
