The love boat had a nice selection of sushi and sashimi. The rolls were well formed and nicely filled. The futomaki roll was a bit off in thickness consistency, however the salmon was a good temperature and firmness. The miso soup was not salty and rather well augmented with tofu amd nori.
If you're craving sushi Yume sushi will satisfy your craving. They are not as good as other places I've been too, but they aren't bad either. The mango roll was delicious. The only issue I had with my visit to the restaurant were the dirty glasses we were given. They were covered in brown gunk on the inside, which was really unsettling.
I love this place. We get delivery from Yume very frequently and have never had an issue with them. They carry gluten free soy sauce if you need it, and have never gotten me sick.
Fresh Sushi Lunch. This place is pretty decent. The bento boxes are maybe not worth the money but the sushi is fresh and good quality. I especially like the lunch combos. The staff is polite and service is usually fast. Not even that busy at Lunch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to for a decent sushi lunch if they work close by.
Great food for great price. Went there in a group of 3 (family) for dinner and the restaurant was overall good. Prompt service and friendly waitress. Food was excellent as well.

Yummy Yume in the Avenida Place in the SE right off Macleod trail !!!. Love love this sushi place. My husband and I order takeout from here at least twice a week. The california rolls are the nicest I have had at any sushi place. And I have tried all of them in the city. My hubby loves the yam tempura rolls. The salmon sushi is fresh. Nice portion size. and for a dollar a piece ! Miso soup is great. Also love the Udon soups. The mango and Yumi rolls are great too. Staff are friendly. Put this place on your to try list. Atmosphere cozy. Modern, nicely decorated. Nice dim lighting. Great place to spend a cozy winter evening. This place is also my go to place for me and my best girlfriends. We love it. Always have our birthday get togethers here too. They have booths which is nice as we tend to clise the place down. They Also have tables and can support large parties. Everyone I ever bring lives this place. Food is far from bland. Not sure why some of the other reviews say this. Its not like fushion sushi restaurants...maybe some people are used to the fancy highly priced places. I have tried a few places in town where one piece of sushi is like 2.50 or 3 bucks. Yume sushi is just as good as a 3 dollar piece of sushi. I VOTE FOR YUMMY YUME ALL THE WAY !!! It is 10 min from where I live...really want to keep it in business...they used to be open all day....now their hours are morning until 2pm...then open at 4:30 pm again until 10 pm. Weekends they are open all day. now it is only open for dinner , so please go and try it. Have never tried the one in the NW. Trust me it is worth the trip. You may even get addicted like me ::))
Fantastic. My boyfriend and I have very few sushi places that we will go to regularly but yume is deffinetly a favorite. The sushi is always good and the servers are always friendly. I really like that they are open on Mondays and that they have some things besides just the norm. I give them two thumbs up!
Popped in for a quick lunch with my GF. Despite our 15 min time limit, we had some great sushi. We did get the wrong combo platter, but we still enjoyed it.
Good Sushi. I visit this place about once a week, sometimes by myself sometimes with my kids.
I find their sushi to be great taste for the value, my only gripe would be that the salmon skin is not as crisp as I like. If you have read my other reviews, I usually use this as my "litmus" test for a sushi restaurant.
I find that if they cannot get this right, in most cases the rest of the sushi is meh to ok.
I'm a big guy, I find I can walk out of here spending 12 to 15 bucks feeling full! Yeah the fish got a little smaller over time compared to when they first opened up, but I have seen smaller. Hit this place up, the next time you feel like a cheap sushi fix.
Yume is better than Kinjo. Try it!. Yume sushi is very close to my house. You can get fresh and cheap sushi from there. My fav are the Oyster Motoyaki ( the big cheese baked Atlantic oyster) Yummm.....and 911 roll. I've tried their tempura last month and they are quite taste too. The only thing that I don' t really like from Yume is their rice dish for teriyaki dish. Seems like they used the same sushi rice with white sushi vinegar for their rice dish. Wrong wrong!! Hope they will change to regular rice for teriyaki dish. It will be so much better!
Great sushi at a great price.. Honestly love this place and their staff. Reminds me a lot of Wasabi on 16th Ave, which is probably my favourite place to go in Calgary for sushi. This restaurant might keep me form ever going back to Wasabi though, because it's much closer to where I live, same great prices, and really great sushi. The staff is very nice, I've gone there about 3 times now and they recognize me when I go in with my family. Highly recommended.
I have tried a majority of the menu and I have enjoyed everything. I am a sushi snob and have eaten at Morimoto in Napa and loved every bite. For the price point this restaurant is excellent. Service is great.
The sushi was pretty good quality considering the price. I was satisfied. The staff were very friendly but the service was a bit slow. I would come back here only for convience of location to my home but would make more an effort to go to other sushi restaraunts.
Eaten here a couple of times, never disappointed. Though delivery times are kinda lame. But who can complain about sushi that delivers? If you do then I would suspect your parents let you play with dry cleaning bags as a child. Good sushi, fair price, poor delivery times. Enough said

Great sushi!. I've been there twice since it opened, and was pretty impressed with both the quality and price of the sushi. Their 911 Rolls are definitely my fave.
