Had the lemon herb salmon. The salmon was moist and tender and the creamy lemon sauce was incredible alongside the ancient grains rice. Definitely will be having it again!
Great food. The pot stickers are always our go to starter. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly.
Our family had an impromptu family gathering for my husband's b day Thursday evening! Matt was our waiter and he was amazing! Even dealt with other staff that were oblivious to our table and almost seemed annoyed that we came in to spend our money without a reservation. But Matt turned that all around for us, we had a great dinner and he was very professional and gave us an amazing experience. Thanks Matt!

I have been going to Moxies for many many years! The Shawnessy location is my favorite. The staff is attentive and consistent. The food is always excellent. Shout out to Jackson - who I have gotten to know as a server - and now a manager. He always manages to make me feel special. Remembers me every time - and goes out of his way to treat me like a VIP.
It's always a great time when we go. Food was great and our server was very nice. Can't wait to go back.

I originally made a reservation for 20 people at Shawnessy boston pizza foor birthday celebrations. I had called twice to confirm prior to arriving. Everything was a go. I get there. They claim they dont take resos from 6 to 9... we made ours for 530. They tell us to wait and they will TRY to make room... in the meantime i call moxies Shawnessy and explain this to the manager. He immediately gets our party in, has two servers for us puts tables together and the service was absolutely amazing. I will ALWAYS recommend moxies Shawnessy after this.

Went there for dinner on a Friday night and so glad we did. Ended up sharing 3 magnificent appetizers, (do yourself a favour, try the Mosaic Dip!! Delicious!!)
The General Manager was awesome, helping our busy server by bringing out our food. Made a suggestion for us to try the Sunday Brunch!

We were there with a party of 4 with Nicole as our server. Everything was excellent but kudos especially to Nicole. She was personable and attentive without being too much so. Thoroughly delightful.
Yesterday, Jessica and I had lunch at Shawnessy Moxie's. We are with the humanitarian charity Right To Play, had been talking to schools all week about the power of play to change lives for underprivileged children and were wearing the organizations jacket. After an excellent meal of fish taco's the General Manager, Russell Doucher came over, asked us how was the meal and he wanted to know more about Right To Play. After we had told him he said that lunch was on him. We were shocked. It's people like Russell that make the world a better place and Moxie's should be proud to have him as a General Manager.
Moxies food is usually pretty good but most definitely overpriced. I work right beside this location and have eaten many lunches and dinners here. The service is always good and the restaurant is almost always busy. I haven't had any food issues myself in all the times I have been there but as I said the price doesn't translate.
Took the family out for a birthday dinner the other night, service was good, food was tasty.
Great service and good food. Over the years they have slowly but surely tried revamping it to a more upscale hipster type restaurant but the food remains the same. No complaints!

I like this place. More times than not my steak is either extremely under cooked or over cooked. Managers are quick to discuss. Food overall is delicious. Staff is mostly friendly.
Great Service and amazing food. We Love Moxies in Shawnessy, In my Opinion the Best Moxies in the City. The Staff are always hospitable and go the extra mile. We came with a large group for a birthday and everything was perfect. Thanks again Moxies for making our birthday dinner special.
Awesome service. Our server Laura was awesome. We had someone at our table who has a food allergy and Laura was very attentive and concerned about it. She explained Moxie's policy which is very in depth. The manager then came by to also explain it.
The food I had was also very tasty. (Steak salad with extra goat cheese) Laura made sure our drinks were always full and that we were enjoying ourselves. We will be back very soon.

Now Open...... My girl and I were given a gift card for a night on the town, movie and dinner. The dinner card was for Moxies, lucky for us that in Shawnessy across the road from the theater Moxies is there.
I haven't been to moxies for a while, why? Because i'm boycotting the fact they do not post nutritional information nor do they publish it. Most place at least post on website.
We started with the bruschetta which has been a fave of mine forever, it was nicely done as far as chains go.
Next my girl ordered the ginger teriyaki rice bowl
with szechwan vegetables, your choice of chicken or steak, she chose steak. It was presented nice, and it did taste good.
I opted for the ranch-house chicken with pancetta bacon, peppered havarti cheese, lettuce, mayonnaise & tomato. Because apparently they only serve the Club house at lunch now. That angers me. As my only options after many failed attempts at main dishes were bruschetta and club house.
I enjoyed our service which is nice, mainly because they just opened as the Classic grill, so everyone was attentive. The food was good. My only problem with Moxies is that they do not post nutritional information and have avoid giving an honest answer for the past 3 years.
If you like moxies, then this place is like the rest of the chain, it has no surprises or disguises, it is what it is, the establishment was nice.
The Tuna Sushi Stack was amazing and also had the white chocolate brownie. It was delicious too, but far too much, by about 1/2 way through it, it did not taste as great anymore. Would be great for sharing. Service was friendly, but a bit slow.
Really great food but even better service. Brant was a great server and was honest about being the only server in the section. Quick and friendly. Thanks for a great lunch!

I have always ordered moxies specifically for their desserts. Today, I ordered a bite of brownie and the half order or sticky toffee pudding. They legit gave me a "bite" of brownie. I don't know if they changed their sizing of it.. because it definitely used to be bigger, but that's ridiculous. $7.25 for a bite. I'm pregnant and had a really bad craving, and this just made me upset.
Came here for a anniversary celebration. Food was delicious and exquisite. It is worth the money to spend occasionally. I loved the steak frites and the baby back ribs here. Overall, amazing service and great atmosphere.
Service was busy tonight, and anyone dining with a five year old can understand the frustration. Front end staff were amazing, but unfortunately the kitchen was behind, and confusion soon become an issue when service started to slow.
Our server did an excellent job accommodating our young daughter, and was very sincere regarding our wait time, as even Courtney the supervisor made her way to our table to also give reasoning for the confusion over our dinner.
In the end our dinner was beyond fantastic, and our bill was more than taken care of, with the front ends unbelievable professional, and gratitude towards me and my family, on our special night out.
We will definitely be back👍
The constantly rotating menu of the test kitchen , coupled with some of the signature Moxie's classic dishes/drinks, is an undeniable win for your tastebuds! The service is always on point and the atmosphere is welcoming. This is a frequent date night spot for a very good reason!
