I don't think I care to do a review because I'm from old school, so "if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all". "If a jobs worth doing, it's worth doing well". Sorry!
We visit Calgary four or five times a year, and always make a point of going to Earls at least once. Great food and great service. There was once an Earls in Scottsdale where we now live. We miss it to no end.
We had people from out of town and one of them is a huge clam chowder fan. Needless to say...Earls has the best clam chowder. We went to Earls on fourth Boxing Day.......ordered clam chowder and immediately knew something was wrong with the soup. Asked our server if the soup recipe had changed...she said no...told her it was not the same. Expecting that was the end of it were totally surprised when the floor manager came to our table and told us...yes there was a mistake in the making of the soup and it was deducted from our bill. That to us...was way above and beyond spectacular customer service. The simple fact of admitting something was wrong was enough compensation for us but deducting it from our bill....this is what good management is about. Earl's is a top notch food establishment...not only for their food but their personnel is one of the best we have ever encountered. Way to go management and staff at Earl's...4th st. Calgary!
Great night in the lounge.
Our server, Javier was personable & our hostess, Ashlyn was friendly & inviting.
Very tasty happy hour menu with lovely ambience.
We will be back!
I wish I remembered our servers name but I don't. I will say he gave us the best service that I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. The food was great and the Service was over the top. Thankyou
So beautiful and food was awesome and service was great

I've been a regular customer here since it opened in 1990. I still love the food, the atmosphere and the staff.
Guess I am a regular now, always greeted with a great warm welcome
Happy Hour Brunch on Saturday and Sunday, $9.75 for the brunch, any item and $5 drinks, we asked for a mimosa, hold the juice. Not an issue. From 11-noon. prompt
Still one of my go to places. . . the staff are great, go in once and they will remember you, from the front door through servers, management and bar are all friendly attentive and on the mark.
Their new happy hour features are a great value.
But for me absolutely the best burger and fries 🍟 in town. I'm now in love with the chili chicken with wonton's over rice
I genuinely like Earls food.... Nothing fancy but perfect for casual encounters. They also have great drink selections and deals throughout the week. I love their patio.. They open early in the season and even offer cozy blankets to snuggle. Service can be hit or miss but they make up for it with their good looks ;)

The service is always amazing here. I love the food. This time I had the Brie and chicken sandwich. They have a great patio for the summer and the location is amazing. Will be back a few times this summer I'm sure!
The servers and management staff here are honestly amazing. Every time I have visited, they have gone out of their way to make our dinning experience perfect!
Great place great atmosphere
Best Earls in town for sure. The staff are attentive, caring, and know the menu from their heart. No matter how busy they are, they always make sure you feel like their number one priority. The food never disappoints either! I can never say no to their yukon fries and Italia Pizza!

This one is a bit tough to review...
The food is good, nothing out of this world but solid decent food, like the Rodeo Blue Burger shown below (blue cheese/mild jalapeño/chorizo/beef patty)... you will definitely find something you'll want/enjoy on the menu.
The restaurant itself looks good, and the patios (both facing 4th and behind/side of the restaurant) are fairly enjoyable.
The staff however... it feels like they put on a mask (fake smile included) when they start their shift and only take it off when they are done. It is hard to connect with anyone and on top of that, they are not the most knowledgable about the menus.
I go there once in a while, but it is definitely not my first choice in this neighbourhood that offers so many options.
We just returned home from a wonderful night out at Earl's! Our server Gary was delightful and very attentive, the food was amazing, and overall our experience was extremely enjoyable.
My favourite dish right now is the Bibimbap, and it never disappoints! The crispy rice and runny egg are some of those wonderful extra touches they have that make the dish so great. I prefer to add prawns, tofu, and about half of the spice so that it has a chance to build but not get too overwhelming. The customization of the dish is one of the reasons I find it so enjoyable as well, as it can vary based on what I'm feeling.
Another reason our night went so well was due to the service we received. Despite the night being a busier one, our server was always friendly and took interest in us, which really elevated our experience. He is great! The food also came out in great time and everything was prepared with care. This was easily one of our best nights out in the last while.
I've had my issues on the past. But they have really stepped up their game. The service at the bar by Adam and the boys. Unbeatable. In the last while I have not had a meal I wouldn't hesitate to order again. Bravo
Jamie was my server d'jour. I was mesmerized by her sweet smile while my jealous dinner companion frantically tried to remove her shirt in an attempt to avert my gaze. Girl next door sweetness and princess of Narnia Jamie fluttered her eyes in a manner that made me dream of my future children being nurtured by her warm bosom. I devoured my food with the hunger of a young lion daring to seduce the innocent child of the king of the jungle. Someday in my dreams I will be able to earn her favour
Pretentious but good. Friendly service, adequate food
I've been there a few times. It's pretty upscale, but the service and food have always been decent.
Unique and excellent pizza. The "Californian Prawn Pesto" pizza is unique and very good. Order it as a tapas for sharing among friends while having a pint of beer. Lots of eye-candy too.
Great patio, nice dining room, good food/service. Usually most chain restaurants are boring and unoriginal with a lacking menu to match, I think this place gets it as close to right as possible. The patio is phenomenal, booths are huge and comfortable. Service was excellent from everyone, our food was even quite good. Had the chicken and ribs which were great (albeit hard to mess up) and the warm potato salad which was awesome. Appetizers were prompt and also very good, house beer was decent and nice touch. Female staff are dolled up, but not distastefully. Definitely more original and creative places to try in the city, but for $100 we had a few rounds of good drinks and a huge serving of great food, hard to complain.
Good for an earls. I understand this is the training earls for calgary. Good food and service is better than normal for an earls. Unfortunate that they put it in a place with such fierce competition for good food. If they had this earls in one of their hurting locations it would probably rate better.
My favourite Earl's in YYC. Beautiful atmosphere, polite & friendly staff. Have always loved Earl's food. Santa Fe Chicken Salad is a personal favourite :)
Visited on a late summer Friday night and we were not disappointed. Classy interior, attentive servers and awesome food! Will be back!
Acceptable. Have only had a few things on the menu but do enjoy the Burgers and have always liked their Calamari. Usually busy and the service is not as good as it should be.
Good place to meet friends for what is usually good food.
