Staff was super friendly and helpful. Made sure that my dairy allergy and my friend's vegan preference were taken care of. Knowledgeable staff and the food was soooooo good!! Can't wait to come again!!

I work in the same plaza and go approx once every week, But today was terrible. Bad service- was not greeted, waited while the man cleaned up before having my order taken. And then got a poorly made wrap, with less chicken than usual, and way too much sauce. A very soggy and displeasing lunch was had. Because of this experience, i won’t return to this location. The floors were quite dirty: covered in food, and the prep space was quite dirty as well.

Message to the owners of this location I eat at chopped all over the city multiple times a week and always order the Sunshine wrap The Royal oak location only the last 2 trips in a row I don't know why I bother to be pay for anything other than a wrap with lettuce and dressing. This last time I swear there was 1 slice of avocado in the very bottom, 1/2 the normal amount of chicken, maybe tasted 3 diced cucumbers and ordered extra apples to replace the cheese and got normal amount. The wrap was mostly tortilla and in some cases so thick that I had to rip it away. I paid 12.76 plus gave a $3 tip and I won't be coming back to this location again until they figure this out their portion controls and I get what I paid for.

We discovered this "brand" by chance. Being gluten free and vegans and being in Cochrane not too many chances presented. Subway was two doors down but their offer is very weak. So we decided to try this never heard about caffe. Exceptional food and service. But not every one is equal as they have different owners. Two good in Coventry Hills, one in Airdrie, one in Cochrane. The others we tried, just OK if you are hungry. The Curry soup: to die for it. This one is, so far, number 1.

Place is great. Food is good and the staff are friendly. I would go all the time but parking is awful. It is terrible trying to get in the complex and there is never any parking.

Big turn off is the cleanliness inside. I had a hard time enjoying my wrap thinking about the sticky tables and dirty counters. I always wonder how dirty the other side of the kitchen looks if the outside looks like this. We won’t go back.

It was nice, typical branded restaurant, I had the Pegasus, which had way to much dressing on it, the wrap had several cracks and slices in it , making it a little difficult to eat, I added prawns, of course at an extra charge, it was okay, I did not find it earth shattering, but I see that they do make an effort to serve food on the healthier side,

Best place for chopped water and Ceasar salad on a summer day. I would get quesadillas. The service is amazing and very fast we were driving and we stopped for a fast meal, plus the interior is beautiful bathrooms have lilacs and smooth soap the crew are so kind and fast at taking you orders. If your looking for a place to have a fresh wrap or salad this is a good place to come. They have a extensive menu that took me a really long time to read and figure out what I wanted. I decided on the Pegasus wrap because I really wanted kalamata olives (in the create your own there is an additional charge for picking them as they are a premium ingredient) I ate my entire wrap to find not even one single kalamata olive in it :( I was so disappointed. The wraps come out tightly wrapped and not cut in half so there was no way of my knowing if the olives were in it or not. The vegetarian salad rolls were okay- not as good presentation as in the menu photo but decent overall. The kids quesadilla was a hit and all in all everything was eaten rather quickly.

Fresh ingredients but nothing super spectacular. I dislike places where ever thing is a separate charge. I especially did not like when I ordered the soup and the fished out a really tiny bowl.. 4.5 $ as advertised. .. and another slightly larger not advertised. The soup was very watery... Very pricy. .. for fast food.. 16$ for soup and sandwich.... plus they wld like a tip....they took a very long time putting it together. Go if your pocketbook doesn't matter

My cousin recommended this place to me and she was right... Delicious salads and reasonably price. I ordered the Popeye Salad which includes spinach, oranges, apples, sun-dried cranberries, roasted pecans & feta with fruit vinaigrette and I added prawns with it. I also got the chopped water which was watermelon in water. Soo refreshing. The meal was light but filling as well. They gave me a lot of shrimp and was not just a few pieces. I will be back to try more salads and the soups sound good.

Food tasted good but everything is on the pricey side. I didn't taste anything here that I felt like I need to go back for and pay the dollars for. I would only dine here again if my options were very limited.

EDIT: The second time I decided to come back to the Chopped Leaf I was a lot happier with the food. I got the #1 bowl and some of the chopped water and really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend getting the full bowl over the salad. I don't know what it is about the chopped water, but it was amazing! Perfectly fruity and refreshing. I will be coming back again, despite my first impressions. Original Review: I feel sorta meh about this place.Wasn't really feeling the salad, and it wad quite expensive for a salad. I disliked the taste of the dressing, but that could just be personal preference. However, the soup I had (i think it was north African spiced lentil or something of the sort?) was amazing! Would consider going back just for the soup. Apprehensive about trying another salad though. Overall, I'd say it's worth a shot but don't get your hopes up about the salad. Just because it's pricier, doesn't mean it's delicious. Place is nicely decorated inside and I like how they serve/present the food. Staff was really sweet as well.

Super Fresh and Delicious Lunch. We were at a brand[ED] workshop today and The Chopped Leaf whole bowls (vegetarian) were served for lunch. The salads were very fresh, lots of variety, and super flavourful. I can't wait to try more menu items! Great choice Nicole @ Bot Communications!

Still not sold. I was very excited to try this. I love salads so to have a fast fresh place to grab lunch is ideal for me. I ordered a design your own salad and was excited to load my salad full of favorites. The girl who took my order was friendly and seemed to think every option I chose was the best. When the manager came out to help with the orders she seemed cold and like she had a lot better things to do. Throwing this and that in to salad boxes. I had my meal as a take out so It really didn't bother me. Where I got home to indulge in my 15.00 salad everything was missing except cheese and peanuts. What I was left with was a onion filled pecan and oranges salad. My dried cranberries and veggies were no where to be seen. I must admit I may be less upset if my least favoriate thing in the world was onions even the smell turns me off. I feel like I may give this place another chance if for no other reason then I love salads but I know I will be checking my order before I leave.

I have eaten salads here on several occasions and find this fresh food restaurant to be a wonderful alternative to the less healthy options that are out there. Minor issue with one meal was fixed cheerfully and efficiently.

A New Favourite!. I went to the Airdrie location last weekend. I was just leaving an appointment I had, starving, driving around looking for a quick bite before the gym when I drove past the Chopped Leaf. The exterior of the building looked very modern, the name sounded fresh..so I stopped in. I ordered the Sunshine Wrap I think it was called, and added chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly! Warm, juicy, flavorful. There were HUGE chunks of it in my wrap along with chunks of apple, avocado and spring mix. It was one of the tastiest wraps I've ever had. The girl at the till convinced me to try the "Chopped Water" as well. Water infused with watermelon and I think it was papaya. OMG - so yummy and refreshing! I wish I needed to be in Airdrie more frequently just to have an excuse to stop in for lunch again.

Very slow service, missing items on take out. The food is great but the service is so slow I won't go back. The take-out order before me had the owner returning for missing food after she had driven home. When I arrived home with my order, i had the same problem. I paid for grilled chicken on my salads and recieved none. When I called she said yes I forgot to put it on. Missing items on two orders in a row is very poor service, with three staff working and only three customers in the store.

Inefficient and Slow. I went to Chopped Leaf on my lunch break, expecting to order and get my food to go within about 10 minutes. Ordering the food was quick and easy but I had to wait about 20 minutes for my order to be made. Watching the girls behind the counter was painful. One of the girls complained the whole time I stood waiting for my food and it seemed to slow everyone else down. Once I finally received my order and brought it back to my office, my entire lunch break was almost over. Nevertheless, I did enjoy my wrap and tomato soup. This is supposed to be a healthy alternative to traditional fast food, but until they get their act together and speed the process up, I will not return.

Healthy Options. Plenty of healthy options at Chopped Leaf to choose from. Select your protein, select your fresh veggies and decide which form you want it in: salads, wraps or bowls. The ingredients are fresh, the sauces are creative and in the end, the cost of a wrap costs around $10. The service is pretty quick too for a assembly line counter. The longest thing you have to wait for is if you get a warm protein. For a different flavour packed in a crunchy vegetable meal, Chopped Leaf is welcome option in Calgary fast food.

Yummy!. Although I hesitate to refer to the Chopped Leaf as "fast food" because of the stigma associated with that term, it is SO refreshing to finally find a fast food joint that has plenty of good quality vegetarian/vegan options. I got the "whole bowl - number 2", topped with smoked tofu. Yum! I will be coming back.

Last week I went the Royal Oak location for the first time and was absolutely thrilled to have found my new favorite restaurant. I had the whole bowl option 1 with grilled chicken and absolutely savored every bite. It was sooo scrumptious. To my great delite I realized there was another location near my office in Airdrie so I went today for lunch again and was planning to order the very same thing since I loved it so much but decided to be a little more adventurous so I ordered the whole bowl option 2 this time. Turns out I love that one even more! Such a fantastic combination of flavors and textures. The portions were very large and I could have easily shared with my kids for dinner next time. But then again...why would I want to share? Its just too good! The first time a girlfriend and I dined in for lunch and it was fabulous. This time I was in a rush so I took it to go. They had it ready so fast and they pack it the cutest take out box! I hate eating out of styrofoam. This is so much nicer. Can't wait to go back. Hmmm whats for dinner?
