Very delicious food. The potatoes are amazing, nice flavour, fresh. The food is great never had a problem with it. This restaurant is a must eat at. Has some seating but place is smaller. Sweet treats are the best. Refreshments are a wide variety try the mango juice it’s nice and refreshing.

The WORST shawarma I have ever had. The meat is not Donair meat. The meat they gave me is shredded, unseasoned, stringy, tasteless meat. Not even sure if it's beef. I feel sick. DISGUSTING! You can see the "meat" below. I regret ordering from this place. If you did this because it was an order and I wasn't there to see for myself, it's very shameful! Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! What I got looks absolutely nothing like the pictures in the reviews below. I don't even know what sauce is on the platter. There are countless shawarma places in Calgary, do yourselves a favor and order from any of the other spots (I wish I did). I guarantee it will never be as DISGUSTING as the wrap and platter from this place.

This place is a great hidden gem. Some colleagues and I tried it out and we were all impressed. The gentleman who served us was so hospitable. The portions were good for the price and everything was very flavorful. We had platters, humus, baklava and coffee. Everything was a winner. We will be back if we ever stop in Calgary again. I wish I had this place in my town.

THEEE ABSOLUTE BEST LOCAL RESTAURANT! THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH THE BEST SHAWARMA EVER. Homemade baklava was amazing! The mango juice was good too. All served by the most kindest heart warming person. The shawarma was so delicious we had to make a stop here again right before we leave the city and to say goodbye! We wish you all the best! And we hope to visit the next time we’re back in town. 10/10 would recommend!

Always come to this lovely spot whenever hunger hits. This is the best made shawarma you can receive in the city, hands down.
The care taken into making the delicious sandwich, along with the owner and staff's kind greetings, always has myself along with many others coming back for more. No lie, I highly suggest this establishment to anyone looking to try a taste of authentic Middle Eastern food!

One of the best chicken shawarmas I've had in Canada. Decent size and meat/veggie ratio. Comes with a complimentary baklava that is not bad itself. The owner is very polite and friendly.

I always get the donair, one of the best I had in the city. Whenever I need my fix I always come here. Hands down the best shawarma place or restaurant in the city. The chicken is always hot, crispy but juicy. I love it. The people are very friendly and they try very hard to please customers. This kind of customer service is a rare thing to find nowadays.

Been coming here a few times a month since I started a program downtown. I always order the falafel wrap and it's delicious. Great ingredients and they let you put as much sauce and veggies as you want on it. They treat their customers very well. I've gotten a complimentary drink a couple times since I've been there. Great service and food. I am always stuffed after I finish eating here.

Big fan of shawarma so I thought I'd give this place a try. Upon paying, the cashier took the coins I gave him, and quickly dropped it into the register without properly counting it, and then insisted I didn't pay enough. Confrontation gives me anxiety so after some back and forth I gave in and ended up paying over 12 dollars for a small and mediocre chicken shawarma. I felt taken advantage of. I won't ever come back here..

Always a great sign when you walk into a place and the owners are so gracious and kind, I've been here more than 5 times and the owner and his son are great people who care about you , and the food they serve. Delicious shawarma and a great (very filling) mixed plate! Delicious garlic sauce and the good hot chilli sauce is a must for me. Perfect spot to spin by after work if you live in the Beltline, and you will also get a midnight snack later on! The boys almost always hook you up with a complimentary Baklava! Highly recommend you pop in and meet these guys and try out their delicious shawarma!

Kinda pricey for a shawarma but it was huge but I've had way cheaper ones elsewhere that was much better and tastier got the mix of chicken and beef, couldn't finish it all but it came with a complimentary baklava!!

I come here for lunch whenever I'm craving a shawarma, which ends up being quite often as it is close to my work. The staff is super friendly always greeting you when you walk in. The shawarmas include a baklava too! Recently they have been giving fresh mango juice to customers on the house. I will continue to indulge my shawarma cravings at the Shawarma House.

The falafel sandwich is delicious at Shwarma House. The service is quick and friendly. The ingredients are fresh and they aren't skimpy. The free baklava is also a little nice touch. I'm hooked and will be back soon!

Meh!!!. Falafel was cold, dry and hard as f**k. Had a donair with everything on it which was ok but nothing worth coming back for. Wanted a mixed platter but they were out of rice oddly enough. Wasn't bad but definitely better places.

This place is the most friendliest and tastiest falafel shop on the block.. My mother and I went to this place like 5 minutes before the place was about to close and the owner did not look upset or angry, in fact he served us with the biggest simile, he gave us fresh mango juice and baklava on the house . This isn't even the best part after receiving the best costumer service I've seen in a long time, he allowed us the sit down and eat because he said that we need to enjoy our food, as soon as I bit into my food I instantaneously fell in love.it's so chewy and favoured filled, you would never regret going here.

Great Shawarma. Excellent Shawarma with a personal touch. Mohammed makes you feel welcome and treats you well. Great chicken, great beef and great falafel. Garlic sauce to die for! The only problem with Shawarma House is that it is not closer to where I live!

Best shwarma in Calgary. Have been many times and I must say, everything is worth trying. Great food, always fresh and the service is just awesome. Visitors to Calgary come here if you want to try a Calgary favourite. But even better than the food is the service.

Delicious. Since recently opening, I have been a regular patron of SH. I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that I've only ever tried the chicken shwarma sandwich, but it is so delicious that I haven't felt compelled to explore the rest of the menu at all. The staff are super friendly and efficient (which helps if you are in a hurry), the avocado sauce (which I had my initial reservations about) is a wonderful addition to the classic shwarma scene, and all of the items are very modestly priced. Definitely a must try for Calgary's shwarma enthusiasts and aficionados.

Super fresh, super friendly. I have only been there twice (in the past week mind you), but both times I visited, the chicken shawarma was absolutely amazing! Next time I head back, I look forward to trying something else on the menu. The place is clean and the owner Mohamad is very friendly & engaging! Definitely above average shawarma. It's not the best in town but worth the trip. Everything is fresh and the service is great. I didn't try the donair, but both beef and chicken were good.

Best shwarma in the city!. By far the best shwarma in all of Calgary. <br/><br/>But even better than the food is the service. They are so sweet, always remember your order, give you free baklava with your meal, sometimes even free mango juice! They are incredibly kind and I really look forward to seeing them at lunch!

Love this place. I really like this shawarma place. The veggies are really fresh and the chicken is awesome. Shawarma lovers will recognize the owner - he is the same guy who used to work at Falafel King on Stephen Ave. Will definitely be hitting this joint for lunch again.
