I took my Grandma for lunch here. The staff were amazingly friendly and attentive. I ordered the Satay chicken Pho, and swapped the noodles out for vegetables. The Pho was alright, but it didn't have a lot of flavour. I have had a lot of Pho from all over the City and this was one of the least flavourful ones that I have had. The vegetables were cooked nicely though and it was a nice clean restaurant. My Grandma had the rice vermicelli with spring rolls. She did enjoy it though. She said it was a good portion size and had great taste. They charged me extra for the vegetables even though I did not get any noodles, which most other Vietnamese restaurants don't do. I would normally give two stars for the soup, but since the staff were so amazing I gave 3 stars.

From out of town, working in the area. Decided to try this place. Absolutely great. Food was delicious, portions were good and the owner even came running out to my vehicle in the cold to make sure he had put the spring rolls in the order (I ordered takeout). Great service. Great little family run restaurant, highly recommend supporting and trying this place.

This place is just crazy good.
I've been coming here for over 10 years and have yet to experience a bad meal. The owner is an absolute legend of a person, and the most welcoming business owner I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. The food is always deliciously perfect, which is a shame because I only have a finite amount of money/stomach room so I am invariably forced to stop eating at some point in time.
Do yourself a favour and check this place out if you're a fan of lovingly crafted Vietnamese cuisine, or just tasty food in general.

Not to mention the people hanging out, smoking outside of your restaurant from the bar next door. Always seems to be at least 10-20 drunk people around dinner time. And the crack heads.
I love to walk and pick up my meals.

Hidden gem in Calgary, nice little family owned restaurant. The portions are a bit small but comparable to the prices around town it's not bad value $12 for a regular size bowl of pho dac biet (other restaurants I've seen are $14-16). Ordered rice one time and the pork serving was a bit small too.
Food taste great, service is alway great and it's is now my go to favourite Vietnamese restaurant.

Excellent food and service. Our server was attentive and gladly accommodated a seafood allergy. I had the lemon grass chicken and shrimp (#74) and it was excellent. Well worth a visit!

Had a wonderful experience here on a mundane Tuesday during the lunch rush. I tried the Thai Satay Beef Soup, which is basically satay soup but with some extra tang from lemongrass etc. Needed a pick-me-up so I also had the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Both were excellent and full of flavor and the friendly service topped it off for me. One tiny flaw would be the rare beef could have been a touch more tender.

I absolutely love this restaurant. They are so friendly, and they remember the smallest details. They definitely make you feel special when you go in. They are extremely happy, and have exceptional customer service. Their food is divine, and I don't think I will be going to another Vietnamese place again. They definitely stole my heart through their amazing food and their amazing attitude. I strongly recommend this place if you're looking for a good vibe, good people, and good food.

Probably some of the best service around: throughout dinner I was continuously amazed at our waiter, who managed to serve the entire restaurant really quickly (taking orders, serving dishes, AND doing cash) all while staying amazingly (and genuinely) friendly and helpful - so I'd just like to give him a shoutout! I decided to try the Coconut Curry with Mixed Vegetables and Tofu ($13.50) and my friends tried the Veggie Spring Rolls with Vermicelli Noodles ($9.99) and Grilled Beef and Spring Rolls with Vermicelli Noodles ($10.50). Mine was really good - nicely pan-seared tofu in a subtly sweet, mild coconut curry that reminded me of Japanese curries made with S&B curry powder. Everything tasted very fresh, and I heard that the spring rolls were nicely crisp and that the beef was tender and flavourful. I'll definitely be back!

A hidden gem. Top service and family owned, this has been my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in the city for over 5 years. Vermicelli dishes are my fave, and they do smaller portion sizes which is kinda nice if you don't want to be stuffed. Excellent and warm service every time.

FANTASTIC EVERY TIME! Favorite. I absolutely love their food. It is always prepared to the highest of standards, never greasy or undercooked. The flavours are spectacular and the service is very friendly. I just moved to the area and know without a doubt this is one of my favorite places to eat in the entire city. Fast take out too! Their coconut curry is out of this world.

Awesome food!. While on business visited for lunch the place was packed! A very busy restaurant is a great sign of good food and service. Fantastic Little Gem!. We moved to Mayland Heights just over 2 years ago and one of the sweetest parts of being in Mayland Heights is Saigon Night! Every meal has been fantastic and the owners have always been extremely helpful and nice.

Awesome Vietnamese Restaurant. There are many wonderful things about living in Mayland Heights and one of those things is this little Vietnamese Restaurant. We've lived in Mayland Heights for two years now, and we were so happy when we tried out Saigon Night. I've never had a bad meal there! I've never had bad service! I've always felt welcomed and I've never been disappointed. I highly recommend Saigon Night!

Best Pho EVER!. I love Saigon Night it is honestly my favourite pho in the city!! Only thing I would complain about is you don't get much meat in your soup but the broth is incredible it's soo good! I live super close and I find myself here very often throughout the week and I ALWAYS leave happy. You have to try their pork dumplings as well, the sauce they serve them with is SO good. Great people, great atmosphere and great food! I love Saigon Night and bring everyone I know here! I highly recommened it!

Persistently good!. Dear luu_kk. So sorry that you found your experience less than average. You must have visited on one of their very rare bad days. We've been going to Saigon Nights ever since it opened ( 5 years) and order from there at least once a month and have never had a bad experience. Andy goes out of his way to provide the best customer service. I think that if you said something to him during your meal he would've bent over backwards to remedy it. We love Saigon Nights. Less than average. Went here for lunch with some colleagues a few weeks back, the staff are friendly but the service was horrible, waitress seemed like she was trying to dodge our table, food is hella expensive for Pho in NE Calgary. Soup didn't taste that great, hardly any meat or noodle (really poor quality), just a lot of average/below average broth. Wouldn't go back again even if the price was more reasonable.

Nice people, fresh tasty food, great price. I am not an expert on Vietnamese cuisine but when I am craving it, this is my go-to. Portions are generous and ingredients are fresh and tasty. Has the usual deep-fried offerings but in general food tastes healthy, not loaded with sodium or fats. Owner is super-friendly!

Food tastes great and the employees are very friendly however, the beef ball noodle soup i had was all noodles (large bowl) and 4 cut up meatballs with maybe 4-5 strips of very thin beef. this came to ~$12 after tax....not worth it. basically paying for a huge bowl of noodles with very little meat

Nice Surprise. I haven't had the best of luck with these out of the way Vietnamese places in the Northeast but this one hit the mark. Service was a little slow but it was very busy so I don't fault the restaurant. Decent food fro the price.

Great place, great owner!. I can't believe it took me this long to write a review. I went to this restaurant on opening night and have been going back ever since. The food there is great and consistent. They use high quality ingredients that are fresh and it makes the dishes pop.<br/><br/>Prices are reasonable and portions are large. You won't go home hungry. Andy (the owner) is always there to greet you with a smile!<br/><br/>I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Just awesome. I live accross the street and eat at this place about 2-3 times per week, it's awesome. Just call them up and say a number, doesn't even matter what number, and whatever you get will be delicious. I would eat there more often if I had the money, definitely worth a try!

I happened to be in the NE on Friday and was looking for a quick, light lunch. I decided on Saigon Night. The food was fresh and definitely quick. The service was very good and friendly. My wonton soup could have used more flavor, but was perfect for the day. As my stomach was a bit unsettled before lunch. Hubby had the deep fried wontons, which he enjoyed.
