As everyone else has stated - it's the freshness of the food. Veggies are crisp and not overdone. Sauces are flavorful but not too overpowering. My wife is from Eastern Europe and usually is not too fond of Chinese food, but she loved our order from Forevergood.
-Spring Rolls 3/5 - nothing too special, but nice and crunchy.
-Chicken fried rice 5/5 - very light, fresh and tasty.
-Ginger Chicken (my fav) 5/5 - Excellent in all ways.
-Broccoli with Beef 4/5 - Tasty and Lean.
-Dumplings 4/5 - Tasty, meaty and not soggy.
-Chicken with Cashews- 5/5 - VERY fresh and crisp.

Our new favourite place! The best thing happened, our old favourite place was closed one day when we were wanting Chinese food and we discovered this place. Its so so good! We have been enjoying all sorts of dishes from their menu for years. The wor wonton soup is delicious! Tonight we enjoyed a feast of S&P squid (always delicious) , dry ribs (seasoned and cooked to perfection) , chicken balls (huge chunks of ch breast meat inside) , chicken chow mein, and beef & broccoli. We are full and happy! Thank you for another amazing meal!!

Ordered takeout and was THE BEST Chinese food I’ve ever had. They don’t cook with MSG so you don’t feel super bloated and gross after. I ate it for breakfast and lunch the next day it was so good. 10-10 recommend.

Moving from inner city, I wasn't confident with the Chinese food options down south.
I'm so happy we found Forevergood. Everything is made fresh and flavourful. We have the salt and pepper squid, ginger beef and spring rolls in the picture. We make rice ourselves but we also had a time when we were running behind and got jasmine rice from Forevergood and it was good as well.
I look forward to more Forevergood take outs!

The food was average. Ordered Shanghai noodles, chicken chow mein and beef & broccoli and they all tasted the same. It had a very light hint of sesame oil. Food was super greasy :(

Serving size was typical, and my order was ready on time, but food was bland and of mediocre quality. I was disappointed, and won't be back.

I'm very impressed! Ordered delivery and recieved my order quickly and by a very friendly lady. I will be going back to try more, but this time I tried the Mapo Tofu and Pad Thai. Both were spicy, especially the Pad Thai, and really yummy! Oh and the War Won Ton soup, which was salty and delicious. Not the most traditional Chinese food order, but some of the best I've had in the city.

Pretty sure I my husband and I got food poisoning from eating here. Will never order from them again. Super disappointing and food was mediocre. We got the ginger chicken and it did NOT taste like chicken. Yuck.

We ordered from here often before, started excellent, last couple of times very disappointing!!<br/>We called for delivery & told it would be 45 minutes. Totally acceptable! But our order came in 15 minutes flat! We live about a 7 minute drive away. Our salt & pepper chicken was salty but dried out, no spice at all. Shrimp chow mien noodles were so dry, they were crunchy. Pork & veggie dumplings rubbery.<br/>None of this was fresh & had obviously been sitting for some time..,<br/>Called to complain & lady on other end seemed very disinterested and never offered anything other than a sorry, <br/><br/>Unfortunate to have lost what started as great local restaurant. We won't be ordering ever again<br/><br/>Update: the owner did call within an hour of my initial call & did apologize & did offer a discount on our next order, so I do have to give them credit for that level of customer service <br/>

Well unfortunately we didn't even get a chance to try the food. I tried to order over the phone and the lady was incredibly rude. I asked for the dinner for 2 and to replace the ginger fried beef with a chicken chow mein and I'd pay the $2 the menu says I have to pay for the change. It was a huge deal as she kept saying they wont normally do changes to the dish and she was very irritated with me. She then told me it would cost $50 without tax and delivery and I asked politely where the other $20 came from.. she couldn't explain it to me at all and yelled at me and just said 'WE DONT DO SUBSTITUTIONS' at which point I just hung up. Absolutely ridiculous and I will never be ordering from here.. obviously lol.

Fast, friendly and delicious with consistent taste and large portions (no MSG) at a reasonable price. They also offer discounts on all pickup orders, which is great if you live in the area.

The worst Chinese food I have ever had. On the positive side the staff are very friendly and the food has been ready for pickup the two occasions I have got food from here.Please can the chef try eating at other Chinese restaurant to find out what Chinese dishes in Canada/the rest of the world normally taste like. The food was very bland. The ingredients were either the wrong type for the dish or wrongly prepared for the dish. My Chinese friend just laughed at the food when she looked at it.For all the positive reviews on here, there is either more than one chef (and I keep getting the bad one) or there are unfamiliar with regular Chinese food.Next time I will take the short drive to McKenzie towne to get something better.

For those from Prince George BC - WE FOUND IT!! (And for everyone else looking for amazing Chinese food!). I have been searching (and every other person who lives in Calgary from Prince George or surrounding area) for Chinese food as good as Fortune/Northern Palace ... THIS PLACE IS IT! The staff - I'm assuming the owners - are incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming! The food... SIMPLY AMAZING!! - I really cannot say anything bad about this place other than it's not next door to my house. <br/><br/>I have been sampling Chinese restaurants all over Calgary for the last 11 years - I can officially say that I found the best Chinese food in Calgary!!! I can honestly say, even better than what I had at Silver Dragon... yeah... it's THAT good - and it's in the south!

Old Wonton's in Wor Wonton Soup. Yet another restaurant serving old wonton's in there soup, filling with old roast beef. I really wanted to love this little place however the salt and pepper squid was way too salty and they also shorted our order an order of spring rolls. I will try again, not the Wor Wonton Soup though and hope they fix the squid, as it was actually quite tender.

Food delivery was fast, but literally every dish I ordered is wrong (Ordered S+S pork, got S+S chicken; ordered curry chicken got curry shrimp). On top of all that, I ordered 4 entrees and it was almost 60 bucks! Not worth it, won't order again.

Great find!. We really enjoyed our meal and the service. There are only three small tables inside so, if you're not planning on take out, be sure to get there early.<br/>Our food was served very fast and hot, as well as reasonably priced.<br/>We'll be back for sure :)

I tríed diferents Chinese restaurant from back home ( Peru) Calgary and diferent places , and I can said this is the best Chinese food restaurant in the south east , attention was friendly , prices reasonable , there is only 3 tables in the restaurant thought I suggest you to make a reservation , seems like is set up more like take out , but , is new and clean !! I will be back !!

Changed to excellent. Ordered for the second time, they remembered the missed item and also sent another item free of charge. Again, the food was hot and delicious. Delivery was crazy fast. Have recommended to everyone I know.<br/><br/><br/>Ordered from here for the first time last night after reading all of the reviews. Food came very quickly, delivery driver was very friendly and nice. Food was hot and delicious, however, they didn't deliver my entire order and I was missing a $16 item. I called the restaurant and simply asked for a credit for this item to be attached to my phone number for my next order, which they agreed to. Will see if this is done, and would actually like to see a further credit of a free item as well for the inconvenience. Will update later, but would still recommend this restaurant as the food was quick and hot. A bit pricier than some of the other restaurants in the area, but worth the extra cost.

Yummy. Great to have Asain Cuisine in the neighborhood and they do not charge a delivery fee within 5km! Service was great, very friendly, delivery driver was very nice. The food arrived to my house with 30 minutes of ordering and was piping hot! I would order from here again and would recommend to anyone looking for chinese food in the deep south east.

Horrible service. Called for takeout and wanted the dinner for two. We were told we couldn't substitute one of the dishes (which they say on the menu you can do - for a fee... Ya it's only $2 extra but why? All the dishes are the same cost) because they were "too busy". <br/><br/>So, What if I wanted to order ONLY that dish? If they can make a dish why can't they add it to a dinner deal? It's not like it's all pre packaged together. <br/><br/>Instead of making an extra $2 on a substitution they've lost an entire order and we'll never call back.
