Dropped in for lunch today and threw caution to the wind and got a delightful pizza for lunch. Amazing pizza with thin crust, well portioned Ingredients. This was a really good pizza! I was surprised to see other menu items listed, I had expected only pizza choices - which is what brought me in. If coming with a group I think everyone will find sow thing they will enjoy.

Dani W. made the dining experience here so wonderful. Apparently she used to work in the kitchen before transitioning to the front house as a server. Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable as a result. Ask her for recommendations and she is quick to match you up with the perfect meal! Her genuineness and kindness extends to both adults and children. She was also quick to get refills on drinks without making us feel like we were imposing on her.
The patio is so gorgeous with the varied seating and ambiance lighting. The glass wall around provides the perfect sound and wind breaker from the parking lot.
The menu has a great selection, but of course the star item here is their forno oven cooked pizza! The Abruzzo Pizza was flavourful and a bit of kick to it.
The kid's menus have great options and include Gelato at the end.
The banana dessert is the perfect treat for dessert. I can't wait to have it again!
The Lattes here are large and properly prepared. It is the perfect way to relax at the end of a delicious meal here.

Last night we visited Famoso -West Hill again. ordered two pizza, their Prawn Rose, and Linguine Rose with Prawn (yes two similar dishes!).
All dishes were very well prepared. Our hostess was funny and friendly.
This visit a five star and the average of this visit and last review is 4 Stars!

We ordered the pizza with fried egg. It was actually a pizza with a pan fried egg on top! Not cracked on the pizza to set in the oven, pan fried and throw on top.
If you haven't been to Italy you may like to believe it's authentic. But Italian pizza would not get famous if that was the quality.
Overall with a coupon it was a decent dining. Will go there next time I get the discount coupon.

It was a nice day and I was thinking of Italy, where we had some of the best pizza ever. So had to go down to my favourite neopolitan style pizza place, and this four cheese pizza never disappoint.

Great quality pizza and excellent service. This restaurant really cares so much about their customers. It is such a wonderful experience to come out and enjoy delicious food. This restaurant also has high integrity for the community and our Veterans. It is worth it. Your guaranteed to be impressed with this place. π

I usually love the quatro formaggi pizza but today I was further disappointed. The pizza look dried up, itβs hard to bite. I had a bad breakup and just wanted to eat something I liked, way to go and further ruin my night!!

Upon arrival for my pick up order, I noticed that there was no clear direct way for the pick up lineup. So I had to stand in the lineup for table seating. While waiting I noticed there was almost an equal ratio of patrons to servers. Which left me wondering why none of them could come over and help me with my pickup order while their colleague was on the phone. As there were very few patrons actually sitting in and dining. When I spoke to Staff running the take out desk, He informed me that the other person running the takeout desk was on break. This was bewildering to me as there was at least 5 other staff just standing around. The staff were very friendly and the food was up to my expectations for this restaurant.. However management needs to find a way to prioritize their staff's abilities in a way that makes the restaurant more efficient. Nobody likes waiting for their pizza.

My family and I went here after skiing at COP. The waitress was excellent, and the food was fantastic. Our 2 year old son was comfortable there, and the waitress was extremely nice to him. We also really enjoyed the Parallel 49 Brewing beers too.

Super amazing food and service. Ordered from them tonight as I usually do and my side of tomato sauce didnβt come in my order, delivered. Called and the manager was amazing offered me a free order of what I ordered tonight whenever I would like it. The service I received on this small minor miss of my order was above and beyond. Thx for the great customer service οΏ½

Take a look at the picture of the heart shaped pizza....This heart shaped pizza has a story.... A fantastic customer service story, that is almost to good to be true! My husband and just returned from Italy, after having just been married. It was our 1 month anniversary and I wanted to do something special for my husband to celebrate month 1 of our marriage! Anyone who's been to Italy knows that Famoso has the most amazing real Italian food in Calgary... So I thought, why not get heart shaped authentic Italian pizzas and delicious dessert to re-live our Italian wedding night! The kitchen manager took my order, recommending delicious appetizers, pizzas, and desserts! The food comes out and it is better than I could possibly imagine... Personalized in every way imaginable with our initials, heart shaped garlic toast, and beautiful tomatoes roses! Absolutely incredible!!! I was nearly brought to tears and speechless when he handed me the bill.... $0.00... He said they wanted to make our anniversary special for us and the meal was on them! Tremendous above and beyond customer service!!! Little did he know, I teach a customer service training in the city where we encourage participants to share their worst or best customer service story with the group.... I have a new "best" story, that I just can't stop sharing!!! Thank you for caring and sharing the best Italian food in town! Carla
