Picked up carry out; gentleman at the front was friendly, food was delicious, they made sure all the sauces were included and it was ready by the time I arrived.
I was a little disappointed, with a 4.1 rating I was expecting something with a little higher quality. Don't get me wrong this is a nice place, comfortable and clean but the Pho was no better than many other restaurants that I have visited. If I'm in the neighbourhood I would drop in again but...
Nice little Vietnamese restaurant located off of beddington Blvd. came here for a quick bite to eat and the food was hot and fresh. My boyfriend had the sate beef pho and really enjoyed the heat and flavor of the sate.
Went to celebrate a birthday and really enjoyed the chicken vermicelli, I think it's the best I've ever tried. Friends had different pho and enjoyed it. Definitely will come back!
The owner really takes pride in his pho! When I asked for extra satay on the side he explained that he couldn't because he actually cooks it into the soup! I could definitely tell the difference

I don't normally like pho but I found the safe beef noodle soup really good here. The owner was very friendly and explained how the sate is cooked in the broth and asked how spicy I would like it. The broth was tasty and I thought the large size was very generous. I also had spring rolls and salad rolls and both were very good.
Always a reliable, consistent flavour with depth in their broth. My favorite is the Beef Sate Pho. Best of all, you specify how spicy you want it. The owner is super friendly and takes great pride in the quality of his food.
This is the classiest Vietnamese restaurant! You can have a proper dinner here where everything doesn't come out all at once and very relaxing with jazz playing in the background. Not only do they have a unique ambiance but they also have outstanding food!! I love the made from scratch Sate broth. It had the perfect mix of spicy and rich flavour. The spring rolls are deliciously crunchy. This restaurant is also licensed.
Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Had the Shrimp Salad Tolls and Grilled Chicken vermicelli bowl, both were excellent. Would recommend eating here for sure
You can't go wrong here for dinner. Pho dishes are consistent, deep and flavourful. Vermicelli dishes are generous. Appetizers are good value, and service is fast. Owner is friendly and cheerful too. Classic jazz and soul music, clean tables; it is hardly the typical Vietnamese restaurant hole-in-the-wall.
Great Food Great Service. Dropped by for supper with my sister for a taste of Vietnamese food and was very impressed with both the service and the food. We shared an order of Shrimp Salad Rolls which were fresh and crisp and, with the Saigon Red Sky peanut sauce were a winning combination. My sister had the Saigon Red Sky Vermicelli Special which was beautifully presented in a large bowl with every ingredient done to perfection. I enjoyed the Saigon Red Sky Stir Fried Combination with soft egg noodles which was presented on a large oval dish as a wonderful combination of tastes with every item again done to perfection. The service from Hawk was quick and pleasant and the entire restaurant was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We would both strongly recommend this wonderful little spot as a place for you to come and enjoy the many exceptional food choices, we will definitely be back.
Great food and cleanest kitchen around. Ok, first off lets face it, people are always worried about how clean the kitchen is in these type's of restaurants and since I have the unfortunate pleasure of seeing everyone kitchen due to my inspection type of work, I know where to eat and where not to.
This place is very clean, very friendly service and great food. It tastes fresh because it is. The owner loves what he does and cares about both the food and his customers.

Amazing. This place is a hidden gem. The restaurant seems family-owned, and extremely clean with nice decor. The food was extremely fresh and tasted great! I have found in my travels many restaurants where many of their meat dishes are undecipherable (a.k.a. mystery meat), chewy and bizarre. Saigon Red Sky is the complete opposite of this - one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I have been to. I will be back!
Picky eaters. I order the chicken satay soup and the vegetable satay soup from here at least once a month with grilled chicken and beef salad rolls to feed my family!!
The soup is nice and spicy and the rolls and peanut sauce are amazing.
I don't like the other vietnamise places in the area because I find their soups to be extremely salty instead of just spicy. I love knowing what is in my soup and being able to discuss the ingredients with the owner to ensure I am feeding my family the best possible ingredients !!
I haven't tried the other dishes on their menu, because I am in love with their soup!!
OK Vietnamese. Recently went here for lunch and it was alright. I was excited because we live so close, so I thought it would be great because of all the amazing reviews. The staff are beyond friendly, which was great. I ordered the Pork Vermicelli with the Spring Rolls and the pork was completely bland, no flavor to it at all. We ordered Spring Rolls to start and it came with this peanut sauce, which tasted just like peanut butter. It was different. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. My boyfriend ordered the Beef Satay Pho and he liked it. However, I don't think it will be our first choice when we go out for Viet.
Red Sky is my favourite Vietnamese restaurant. I've never had a better tasting bowl of soup. This is a staple in my diet. And the staff are very friendly.

Exceptional. If you are near the Beddington area and craving vietnamese food? This is definitely the place to go. The food and service exceeded expectations. The soup was definitely perfect and the satay was amazing. Overall great experience. I highly recommend this restaurant!

The owners deserve to hear how great they do at running their business, so make sure to write a great review once you've had the chance to try it! My boyfriend and I probably eat here on average 1-3 times a week we just can't resist!! BEST SALAD ROLLS EVER!!!

Great salad rolls and vermicelli. Had the prawn salad rolls and vermicelli with pork and springrolls. Both were great. I like how they serve the salad rolls with peanut sauce instead of that sweet dark brown sauce (hoisin?). New Northern fave!

Wow, what a great little place. We came here based on reviews here on urban spoon and were not disappointed! The restaurant was clean and very inviting, we got a table right away and our food was served very quickly. The food was fantastic and very fresh and the price was very afordable. The owner spoke with us and was very friendly. We are from out of town and we will definitely go out of our way to come here again!

You have to eat here. Saigon Red Sky is amazing. The food was hot, fresh and fast...not to mention delicious. It is easy to tell that everything is freshly made in house. The restaurant itself is very modernly decorated, and clean!

Food and Service is Great!. My husband and I have been going to this restaurant since they first opened up about a year ago. The food is fantastic and the service is great! If you want the best spicy pho beef soup, come to this place. The Emperor's dish is my husband's favorite. When we show up, our order is placed without us saying anything becuase they remember us. The owner comes out and makes conversation with you which is a nice personal touch! If you are tired of the bigger restaurants come here!
Awesome. I have been waiting for a Vietnamese restaurant like this to come along in my neighborhood for some time now. It was so delicious and the portion was huge. The gentlemen at the restaurant was so kind and expressed how important customer feedback was to him. I will go back there time and time again not only because the food was amazing but the customer service was great.

I have been to vietnamese restaurants all over Calgary. None come close. My favorite dish is satay beef soup and it is AMAZING. So tasty. Defiantly worth trying this place out.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times now and have tried lots of different items on the menu. The food is always hot, fresh and fast...not to mention delicious!!! It is easy to tell that everything is freshly made in house. Some of our favorites are deep fried wontons, satay noodle soups, and rice vermicelli! We really liked this place, I have to disagree with the post below - the prices are very reasonable for good pho. the sate soup had a great flavor very plentiful and the meat has no fat on it at all, like some restaurants do. will be going back again and again for sure.
