Review Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria

We went on a weekday during happy hour and the service was great. In terms of price we felt the pizza was the best. The flavour and the cook on it was perfect! However the bruschetta was a let down. It was one pita cut up into 8 thin pieces and the presentation of the balsamic tomato topping was mediocre. We also had the seasonal roasted chicken pasta and it was very disappointing. There was barely any sauce, the chicken had no seasoning and it was undercooked. Overall I’d highly recommend the personal pizzas during happy hour!

Chain restaurants don't usually get a stellar review from me because they usually don't have much of a wow factor for me. I felt i needed to write a review for Famoso though however, but while i find the food to be above what i would normally expect from a chain restaurant, the service I've gotten have been second to none. I typically come in around lunchtime and am always served by Madeline. The first time she helped me, she was so cheery and friendly, and made sure that my experience was fantastic. I returned the next week and she was working again. This time she surprised me by remembering what my order was the time before. She was just as pleasant and attentive as the time before. Ive included a picture of my regular pizza that i order. I get the Vesuvius with prosciutto added and put chili oil on it. There is just the right amount of toppings and cheese for being a Neapolitan style pizza. I love it. However what i love more is the amazing service i receive every time i come here. I recommend checking it out for yourself.

You can never go wrong with their classic margherita pizza and bruschetta. Definitely a great dining experience. Amazing service, amazing vibe. Perfect for all occasions.

Excellent pizza and excellent service ! This has to be the best pizza I have had in ages! I grew up in Ontario and would cross the border quite often to frequent a little Italian pizzeria ! If you are looking for an authentic Italian- New York style Pizzeria this is it! You can’t go wrong here!

We used to love this place but this week our experience was totally disappointing. We booked a table for 18 people and called to confirm the reservation. However on reaching there we found out that they did not have enough tables. So we had to split our group. The food arrived before we were given plates. When the plates arrived they were not clean, on requesting the server for clean plates her response was a - 'What ?' What do you want? ' - That was rude. They forgot to serve our ordered drinks - Coke, beer and as straightforward as water. We had to constantly remind them of our orders. They tried to save the fiasco by offering us a free cheesecake but my daughters bday celebration was ruined. We also noticed that they had very different staff this time (not the usual) and clearly they were not up to the job. Such a let down !!!

It is very bad I wonder why they call it pizza it is bread, on top of it whatever old vegitables they have stashed away. The chicken is very spongie and taste like pre packaged chicken bought from your local store.

Our entire order including appetizers, pizza, and soup all came at one time leaving us little room at our table to eat. By the time we finished our appies and soup the pizza was ice cold. We specifically asked our waitress to send out the appies/soup first but totally disregarded. Such a disappointing experience as we really enjoy the food and ambience at this location.

I ordered a grande pizza, prosciutto wrapped mozzarella balls and a pint of gelato. I never received the pint of gelato, but they still charged me $14.50. When I called to ask for them to re-deliver, they refused. Never again.

famosa neopolitain pizza on 4th st. sw Leah, and some other cute server, were all over me to serve me and feed me a pizzatea and well Leah had me first, and I can not have more than with one meal, lol, ha ha.,the Margharita small pizza, Tomato Bisque, coke drink, , Tiramasu and coffee, Was fantastic, and yes the servers were the best. Did not catch her name in White but the lady in white was pleasant as well, the Old Grumpy bear, says so!

I love this place! Awesome food, and a great people watching spot! Margarita pizza with fresh prosciutto added......so yummy!!!! Sometimes dessert, sometimes not.....love that I can walk here in approx. 15 min!!!
