Cool and trendy small restaurant (Inglewood location) with very friendly service. Ordered the S’mores pancakes and french toast. The food came out super quick but maybe we lucked out since it was before the rush. The french toast was chocolate heaven, with hazelnut spread on top and filled with bananas and cream cheese icing inside. The S’mores pancakes were the perfect level of sweetness and the graham cracker crumble and marshmallows on top were great! Two things that didnt make this a 5 star rating: the hot chocolate was really disappointing. It is made of water, not milk. Therefore it tasted so bland and flat, not rich and indulgent like it should be. Also their coffee is beyond disappointing, please switch up your coffee! The second is there was no option besides pork, such as chicken sausages or turkey bacon. A huge disappointment considering the menu offers other good items. Would come again to try their brisket items!
Excellent breakfast! This is a great place to go with a few friends for some lovely brunch! Portions are good. Unique presentation of food. Excellent taste. Parking can be challenging downtown if you are not going on a weekend though.
While visiting Calgary I was recommended this place by a couple friends and family. And it did not disappoint.
First off, the ambiance is great, clean, trendy, and cozy vibes.
Second, the coffee is bottomless and delicious! Dark, dreamy roast, with just the right amount of depth and natural sweetness!
Third, and most important, the food! I ordered eggs benny with smoked salmon, it came with a side of fruit and some hash browns. The hash browns were a mix of sweet and white potatoes, and they were a delicious side to an amazing eggs benny!
First time here and the food is delicious! I had the perogies (it's so good but also super unhealthy with the bacon and that delicious sauce base!) My friend had the hashbrowns with eggs and sausage (I tried some and it's really delicious too). We were there Sunday morning around 10:30 and the place was packed (both inside and at the patio). We saw the fondue menu and really curious, so we ordered the sampler platter fondue (with 3 different types of chocolate) even we were not hungry anymore after our main dishes. The matcha and earl grey chocolate were really good but we did not care much for the yellow turmeric (just personal taste). Overall it was really delicious food, but it's not 5 stars because of the high price tag. For the 3 plates we ordered plus a tea and a coffee, the bill came to about $70 before tips for a brunch with 2 people. It's true we ate a lot (lol) but it's definitely not cheap eats here. We will go back though (perhaps just not all the time lol) because the food is delicious.
We loved this place and their brunch selection!
We got the fondue sampler platter with Tumeric, earl grey, and matcha fondue and waffles &fruit to dip
For a while now I've been wanting to try Monki Breakfast and today I was glad I made the right decision to try this place out. The wait time on average is about an hour so I'd recommend making reservations on the NoWait app in advance. After being seated inside I ordered their Monki Coffee and The Morning Breakfast. Their coffee was good and I believe they sell their own coffee beans. The Morning Breakfast came with 2 eggs (tasted good scrambled with a hint of thyme), 3 valbella sausages (nice spice and seasoning) , potatoes (salty and sweet with a hint of cinnamon) and multigrain toast. Overall good flavors for a standard breakfast. Prices here are an average of $15 per dish. I'd recommend giving this place a try.
Excellent food and services. Highly recommended but be prepare to wait for 30mins. I think its worth the wait. Love the tiny restaurant and easy to found street parking.
Went to Monki for breakfast this morning. I ordered the beef brisket and sausage hash. Nice presentation in a individual sized cast iron skilled on a wooden cutting board. The dish itself had a bottom layer of tender beef brisket, sausage, the signature Monki hashbrowns (mix of potatoes and sweet potatoes), two soft poached eggs and topped with their Prosecco hollandaise. Meal overall was very tasty but portions were quite small and more expensive compared to other local brunch places. Atmosphere was cozy being a smaller restaurant and service was friendly and relatively quick. Overall an alright experience for my first time at Monki
The bistro is small on the inside and it is best to take one or two friends to go to this bistro, as space is limited inside. I sat on the bar side of the bistro and had a pleasant experience. The waiter that served me was friendly and nice throughout the whole experience. I ordered one of the bowls, with quinoa, yam, arugula and etcetera in the bowl. The bowl I ordered was delicious and filling. The yams in the bowl I ordered were seasoned well and made the dish all that more delicious. The bowls are vegan and gluten-free, and meat, cheese or an egg could be put into these bowls, if one wanted to, just in case you wanted some meat or vegan less free bowl. The red rooibos tea I ordered was rich in flavour and had to be one of the best teas I have ever tasted so far. When I paid the bill, the waiter gave a fortune cookie and I thought that was a nice way to end the meal. When I was sitting at the bar, the condiments were on my side and that was nice, to have the condiments out in the open like that, for people to use in their food. The food is more on the the sort of expensive side, as my bowl was around $16.00-17.00. The price is worth it though, as the food was prepared nicely and the taste was simply very delicious.
The dishes were very good, excellent pairing choices (example: flank steak served on a bed of sautéed broccolini, whipped goat cheese and roasted cherry tomatoes served with crusty bread, avocado toast topped with a lightly fried egg, pickled beets served with hummus and topped with pistachios). They also serve "bullet coffee" for those who are following a keto diet and many of the meat dishes are keto friendly as they come with a side of veggies.
The service was excellent; attentive and friendly while seamlessly keeping our drinks filled and dishes cleared. The only reason for the 4 stars is because the protein portions were quite small for the price of the dishes. I will be back again, while keeping in mind this is family style dining, will probably come back as a table of two to keep things simple and avoid ordering too many dishes to accommodate multiple people's preferences.
I just had an amazing breakfast here definitely in my top 3 when me & my wife showed up place was packed to the gills had to wait half hour for a seat, its a very small place, but was worth the wait. I got the chorizo, caramelized onion & goat cheese benny & my wife got the brisket & pork sausage hash. The benny was excellent chorizo was juicy & went well with tang from goat cheese & the prosecco hollandaise sauce & the potatoes had a seasoning on them that tasted like banana bread. I tried a little of my wifes hash it was also amazing nice portions of brisket & sausage with a little of the banana ketchup toke it over the top. I am coming back here a lot.
Cute bistro with tasty but pricey fare. The restaurant itself is very cosy and has a cool, laid back vibe. Our server was friendly but not quite as attentive as I would have liked given how empty the restaurant was. I decided to try the mango chutney slider ($6) and the chorizo slider ($7) while my friends got the braised beef brisket ($18), perogies ($17), and mushroom fricassee ($18). Our food arrived relatively quickly. The sliders were both really good: the meat was tender, juicy, and well seasoned in both. The buns were a little bit dry, but the toppings all worked really nicely together. The fricassee was delicious, but very, very rich. The brisket was also very tender and flavourful. My friend absolutely loved their perogies as well. While everything was very good, portions are a little on the small side for how much the dishes cost; however, all the ingredients seemed to be good quality and very fresh. Might drop by if I'm in the area to try their brunch menu.
We decided to check this place out this place out for lunch and we were glad we did. I ordered the smoked Salmon Bennies with Fried Capers and a side of Valbellas Pork Sausage. My companions ordered a Morning After Breakfast (Eggs, Monki Hash Browns, Bacon, Toast), Chuck Burger with Egg, Maple Bacon, Cheese on Pretzel Bun and finally, my partner ordered a Grilled Capocollo, Cherry Tomato & Pesto Bennies. We loved their Monki Hash Browns they were coated in a beautifully sweet and savoury spices that was a joy to eat. Their hash browns is a mixture of potatoes and sweet potatoes and they serve all their bennies in a homemade Prosecco Hollandaise. However their bennies are not served on a traditional english muffin but a toasted canapes, which explains why I left still a little hungry.
They also serve cold pressed juices which runs $5 a glass. I was also impressed with the vast variety of hot sauces available , which was a plus!
This is a cozy and quiet place, they have outdoor seating. This place can get very busy so seating is limited so be patient. A good place to just enjoy good food and company of friends.
We ordered the smoke salmon and brisket mushroom benny. While the benedicts were good, the hash browns were fantastic. I would come back and get extra hash browns instead of the fruit cup or salad.
This was a great little place. Their use of the Nowait app is helpful right off the bat. Since there is not a lot of inside space at this location Nowait means you do not have to wait outside until there is a table available. The space is very nice, homey and warm. A very pleasant space to spend your morning. The service was friendly and prompt. Did not have to wait for service at all and provided us with everything that we could have needed.
The food was delicious! A unique take on some brunch classics. Serving the food in high quality cast iron pans was a nice touch and gave the meal a more upscale feel. Coffee and espresso was very good, I would highly recommend
Overall a friendly, warm and unique place with above average brunch fair.
Busy little place with its characters. Benedict was quite good. I gave 3.5 because the open kitchen made the whole place very smoky. I guess they don't have good ventilation system. If there are as good food out there in the city, why do I have to go back here?

Best place for breakfast. Tried 4or 5 different places and no one reached the level of food quality and service. . Worth the trip there. Will go back on my next trip to Calgary.
Always a go-to breakfast spot in the city! So great that they use the Nowait app so it's easy to get a spot in line on the busy weekend days. We popped in early on a Sunday morning, and they are open at 7:30, which is great! My sister and I shared the eggs Benedict with chorizo, caramelized onions and goat cheese - so good! It was a really hot day, so I had an iced latte, which was great. Not too strong, and perfectly cold! Always a great experience!
I've been turned away from Monki more times than my two fingered hand can count. Today was the day luck worked in my favor. Both of us had burgers and shared a serving of the sweet hash browns. The burgers were huge and boy were they messy. Served on delicious pretzel buns they were loaded with a runny fried egg and plenty of bacon. They were definitely worth the $17, but ask for extra napkins (and don't order it if it's a first date!). The side salad was a great way to balance it out, although the reduced balsamic dressing could be optimized. I liked the sweet hash browns which come with brown sugar and cinnamon but we only got one nugget of sweet potato when it's supposed to be a mix. One highlight for me was that they have a huge selection of hot sauces to try out on your food!
Service could also be optimized. It took a few minutes to be seated despite the restaurant being very quiet. Refills of coffee were half cups oddly. But overall friendly/helpful staff.
I'll definitely be back (if I can get in!)
Heard many great things about Monki and finally made it in today. My mind has been blown. The flavours are amazing, I don't normally like sweet on savoury foods but their hashbrowns were to die for. The capicollo eggs benny was amazing! I'm definitely going to become a regular here.
Went here this week and everything I had was fantastic... the burger was incredible along with the stuffed french toast! The service was perfect and the food came quickly. I love the decor on the inside and their music selection makes me wanna dance. Will definitely be coming back to this place to try everything else on the menu! This place really hits the mark, it is up my alley in places I will frequent!
My favourite Calgary breakfast place! I love all the hot sauces they have to try, the coffee is always so good, and the hollandaise and the brisket hash are to die for.
Been driving by this place for years and finally tried it. Awesome food and cool atmosphere. We both had the brisket skillet and it was really good. Get there early or expect to wait as it's a pretty small place. Will definitely be back?
If I can get in, this is my hands down favourite breakfast joint. Favourite burger in the city with the caramelized maple bacon. I've had maple burgers elsewhere but none compare. I've eaten just about everything else on the menu as well, steak & eggs,
monki hash, panini's, bennies. It's all worth a try as they all take their own spin on the classics. Awesome place, great vibe and friendly staff.
I love this place. Food was great for the two times I've being there. I love their egg Benedict. The only thing is had to wait outside in the cold for a long time before we could get a table.
This place is amazing. The two items we got for brunch (pictured) were perfect. Both dishes were delicious and presented well. The establishment itself is also really cool, with a few hundred hot sauce bottles decorating the bar. Our servers were great too. The only tiny downside to this place is that it is extremely small, and extremely busy, which results in some long wait times to get in. Highly recommend trying to get there before the 11am brunch rush. Despite this, we will definitely go here again. We heard their eggs benny might be the best in Calgary...
I love the cappuccino it never disappoints. Eggs benedict is my normal go to but the brisket is sooo tasty same with the stuffed French toast. It is a bit on the pricey side but when it tastes this good I am willing to treat myself once in a while. Long wait times on weekends so go early. I would not recommend this for groups larger than 4 just because you will have long wait times. With 2 people you will have a great experience.
MONKI is expensive, but tasty. For a brunch dish, expect to pay $15-$20. I ordered the vegetarian panini, but it could be made vegan. MONKI's eggs Benedicts are quite popular so if you come here (and not vegan), be sure to try them. Also, they sell Fratello coffee (Analog Coffee)! Just beware of the waitlist: I went on a Sunday for brunch and we had to wait about 30 minutes to get a seat (at the bar). MONKI is a really popular spot for brunch, especially during the weekend.
Fantastic all around. Food was Very VERY good, the wait staff was attentive and friendly it was Completely worth the wait.
Will definitely be back.
The Eggs Benedict was excellent. Really amazing eggs and hollandaise sauce... Terrific chorizo sausage beneath and nice garnish. As an athlete, the sugar on the hash-browns, although delicious, was a bit much. Next time I will ask for no sugar.
The restaurant is very small, which often means long waits for seating. And the breakfast menu is limited. The benefit, however, is great service and high quality dishes.
My coffee was repeatedly refilled much faster than I could drink it (major plus)... And our server was awesome.
Great service! Great food! We will definitely be back the next time we are in Calgary. All three of us had something different and all three of us loved it. They were busy and I can see why. It was worth the wait. And --- they have tampons (free) in the women's restroom. Never seen that before.
Hands down one of the best brunch places to go to in Calgary!! I've been going to Monki for a few years now, and I can honestly say that everything on their menu tastes amazing. Very bold flavors that will satisfy every single tastebud. The atmosphere of this cute, yet rustic restaurant is very welcoming. Servers and cooks are always friendly. The only thing to watch out for is the wait time. Try coming in right when they open so you beat the rush.
It was our first breaky stop after we got into Calgary. I enjoyed how they had an open window concept to their spot and also a patio. Our server was a tall female she was great and even sat down to chat with us. I had a brisket breakfast with 2 eggs and hash browns underneath which was for me normally is a heavier breakfast than usual. My fiancé had a smoked salmon Benedict type of dish which came with flaked cooked salmon not smoked ( he preferred smoked so it was a tad misleading)... Mimosa was good. Everything was pretty in presentation but flavour wise didn't really surprise us.
Came here on a Friday. Was recommended the Burger, and it came out pretty good. Came with a side of Salad that was a miss. Very Bland. The Girlfriend got the frittatas and it was 3/5. I'd definitely come back, if I didn't have to wait forever. Just not worth the wait.
A really nice breakfast place. The problem is its wait times.
I was excited to eat here for the first time with a friend for her birthday. We put our names on the waitlist and then walked over to Community to pass some time. The folks from Monki called us after an hour. We went over and stood in the doorway for a good five minutes while the host was trying to figure things out. Finally we were seated at the bar.
We ordered drinks and then food. Everything was served timely. There is also a charming collection of hot sauces at the bar (it adds to what seems to be a tongue in cheek pirate theme here). I had the eggs benedict with basil paste, tomatoes, and capicolla. Amazing! My friend had the burger. The hash browns were good, too.
It seems like Monki's prices are steeper than other breakfast places, especially given the wait times and cramped space. This is a nice restaurant but I'd much rather go to Dairy Lane for breakfast, if in the area, where wait times tend to be lower. Try Monki yourself. Maybe you'll decide to come back. Unfortunately it's not for me.
My friend has recommended me this place. Been here twice, the first time I didn't get to go in because there was an hour wait. We had four people, didn't feel like waiting that long so ended up going across the street to the market. Second time It was a 20 minute wait for two people. The place is really small but nicely decorated. Waitress was nice & goes in great depth on the menu
One of my favorite breakfast places in the city. Variety of options on the menu. Enjoy the little complimentary gesture that comes out with every meal (usually fruit)☺ . Staff is friendly.
The only downfall for me & the reason this restaurant gets my rating of 3.5 is because out of the 10 times I've tried going for lunch/brunch, I was only able to get seated 3 or 4 times. Line up is always huge and the wait list is always over an hour. Would help if you would take reservations.
One of Jaime’s favourite brunch spots is Monki. She raves about the the prosecco hollandaise sauce on the eggs benny. Last Sunday, I arrived at Monki at 12:45 pm. I was told our table would be ready by 2:00 pm. Jaime and I shopped around to kill time. At 2:00 pm we checked our status at Monki. Turned out someone tried to call me but I didn’t see it on my phone, nor heard it ring. I blame my brothers for their constant texting about Walking Dead. Our table was long gone, but Jaime sweetly asked if it was still possible to get a table. Lucky for us, we only had to wait another ten minutes.
The waiting is not that bad compared other small brunch place. I waited about 40 mins but if u considered the restaurant space, it not a surprise if you have to wait a bit. Both of me and my friend food were so delicious and I get a chance to see the chef harvard fresh thyme right from the a small thyme pot. Which is a bonus point to the place. For my Egg Benedict, I like how the color of the york was so orange. The cut of bread maybe a bit hard for my taste since I like mine to be more on the crunchy-toasted side. Also they have a great variety type of hot sauce, which is bonus reason why my friend like this place so much. The waitresses here are so friendly and they make you feel so welcome. Overall, my first time at Monki was beyond exception and I would definitely recommended to everyone.
This is one of my favorite breakfast places in the city. I recommend all there menu choices as they kept it small and good rather then have some huge menu and they suck at half the food. I recommend the burger or anything with there hollandaise.
Wednesday night I had a craving for eggs and decided to set up a last minute date for brunch with Jenny. The both of us have not been to MONKI in ages and we couldn’t wait to satisfy our craving for eggs. We both love tea, so she got the green tea whereas I got chamomile, which I have not had in a long time! Plus I figured, too much caffeine from my matcha before coming. We shared some giggles on how they packed and closed off their tea bags. Very Asianesque ;).
This palace is so cute! The benedicts are delicious. I had the crab and lobster Mac and cheese, it was outstanding! Very nice decor! I will definitely be returning!
Been to Monki a few times. Love the tight and cozy ambiance. Their Benedicts are still one of the best in the city. And that hash! Damn. I hope they open a second restaurant but not holding my breath lol.
If you asked me what’s my favorite brunch spot in Calgary, I would yell out “Monki” without hesitation. We had been to this chic restaurant twice already and it did not disappoint us. Let’s check out what we ordered and hopefully you will get a chance to try these heavenly food yourself!
Food is good as expected, wouldve rated higher if not for the "well done" poached egg on my bacon-lobster-crab mac&cheese. and you would think that for the name you'll find a good amount of lobster and crab in it, but no. bacon were lots tho, so its still good.
service was good,
but i didnt like that me and my lady were in first and then these two guys came in and because theyre friends with the guy who takes the names for the wait list, they we're seated first.
Can't complain, loved this place. To small for my liking but the food and service makes up for it. Will be back just to get their delicious hash browns
Monki is a local endeavour that seeks to provide hungry diners with a slew of tasty breakfast options. Whether you're in the mood for their stuffed French toast, or have a craving for their lobster mac and cheese, Monki offers options for every type of diner. This bistro has been a longstanding favourite of the community, and with good reason. My personal go-to is the lobster mac and cheese, which is highlighted with the addition of truffle-scented breadcrumbs and an optional poached egg on top. Each bite offers a savoury, rich experience that makes this dish one of the most unforgettable brunch options in Calgary. The quality of the menu items were reflected in the service as well, with friendly staff always ready to help navigate through their menu. One piece of warning though, is that seating is quite limited, and it is difficult to get a spot right away during peak hours, so make sure to go ahead a bit earlier if you want seats.
We came to Monki for Sunday brunch. Had
to wait 45 minutes but theirs a nice health food store across the street you can kill some time at. The first thing I noticed is how small the place is. Not really a bad thing but it does make the wait longer. As I walked in we were greeted appropriately and the vibe was nice. The people their enjoy their job and the staff like to dance to the early 90's hip hop coming through the speakers. I'm a huge spice fan so of course I noticed their huge hot sauce collection. I tried 4-5 different ones and I like how that's an option. I ordered the eggs Benedict and I enjoyed it. Not the best I've had but combined with the whole atmosphere I enjoyed it. The Caesars are also good. All on all its a cool place with good food. I'll be back to try more items on the menu.
Excellent atmosphere. Great food. Visiting from Toronto and found this place on Zumato. Wait time was about 30min, but it worth it. Highly recommended.
Really great food and atmosphere but wait can get out of control. I love the food so I will still come back but I have waited over 2 hours when the anticipated wait time was 1.5 hours. You basically have to get here right when they open if you want a seat sooner than an hour long wait. I wish they had a larger seating arrangement but it really is worth the wait.
Monki, like many breakfast food restaurants, has a decent selection of good food and, I won't lie, is quite tasty. The restaurant is a bit cramped and the wait time can be a bit long as well as there's nothing really original about it. It's a slightly higher quality breakfast place just like all the others around. I would go back but it wouldn't be my first choice.
Monki is a good place to go eat however it's any typical breakfast place. Didn't really seem any different. The amphosphere is nice but very cramped and the wait was a bit long. Overall the food wasn't bad but it wouldn't be my first choice.
YUMMMM one of my favourite brunch spots, but mind you it is very busy and there isn't a lot of standing room. In the summer its ok, but winter time i advise to get there early. I have been here a handful of times. I love that the place is small and cozy and the staff are very friendly. I have tried the smoked salmon bennie, the smoked salmon frittata, brisket hash with fried eggs and my most favourite dish is the MONKI MAC & CHEESE. it comes out in a skillet and includes butter poached lobster, crab, bacon and TRUFFLE scented bread crumbs. Talk about heaven in your mouth.. mmm
I highly recommend this place for brunch
Delicious! Eggs Benedict were the best I've ever had. I hated the atmosphere and how packed and crowded it was. Too many hipsters. But the food more then made up for it.
This is one of my favor breakfast in town. This is different from the traditional western style breakfast, it is more like fusion combined with breakfast and lunch. Be there early tho, it is pretty small with limited seats and LOTS people. This is a pretty good start of my day.
The food is fantastic. I love a good pretzel bun. On a cold day the lobster mac and cheese is a great comfort food. But my favorite brunch in the city is their salmon eggs benny.
This is one of my favourite breakfast places! The chuck burger is to die for and the bennies are excellent. I have been back several times and it is always packed but the food is worth the wait!
Great little breakfast place. It's tiny...but luckily they have their patio open in the summer. Go early or be prepared for a long wait which is quite common for Calgary. The servers keep the coffee flowing which is nice. I loved the snow crab and mushroom frittata, not a heavy breakfast yet was very filling with the potatoes and fruit. The beef brisket hash is equally as good, with a hint of spice. They have a huge selection of hot sauces for you to dabble in on the counter.
Another one of my favourite spots in Calgary. I typically desire breakfast for every meal haha. Monki has been my go-to spot for these cravings. I love the small-cozy atmosphere with friendly staff I've come to know. My typical meal I enjoy is the Brisket plate with scrambled eggs and added avocado-- you can't go wrong with this option. Go check them out--and again tell them Dj sent you.
It was a great experience having breakfast at Monki, service was great. The atmosphere was really relaxing and unique. There were four of us and everything came out hot and fresh. I would definitely come back here again.
Amazing brunch! Salmon Benny is to die for. The atmosphere and service are wonderful. Fave brunch spot in Calgary! Great music, phenomenal staff.

Fantastic!
The reviews i read might have gotten me a bit too hyped about the place this, thus giving a tiny i repeat, tiny let down. The place is great and it seems all of Calgary agrees seeing as i had to wait an hour for a table. But no worries you have all of downtown at your finger tips to keep you busy. It has small hours but it is worth every penny and all the wait. Food fantastic! Everything you want out of a healthy breakfast you got! Everything is nice amd fresh and of course flaourful. Customer service is absolutley wonderful everyone there is quite charasamatic low chance you'll have abad time. The area is great as well i had luxury of spending time outside and it gets a litrle noisey wthtrafdfic at points but not a bad time. The inside of the place is also perfect. For just grabbing lunch it's a great time or breakfast for that matter. so to wrap up fantastic place good food although the wait is serious enough to turn you away at pointss highly recoended whenever you have the chance or wanting a nice breakfast with good company.
I've always heard great things about Monki, and boy were they right! Cute, little brunch spot with fantastic service, great atmosphere, and tasty eggs benny :) Try the eggs benny with capocollo, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and pesto - you won't regret it! It can get busy at times (there was a lineup before it opens at 9am!) but be patient, it's worth the wait.
Monki's Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict has my vote for Calgary's best Benny. Not to mention an amazing hot sauce selection. Great atmosphere and service!
I ate here a while ago, but I walk by every day and the delicious smell that I walk past every day (that initially brought me into Monki) reminded me to write a review! Totally worth the longish wait!! The smallest places are always the best; felt super exclusive, and the food was tasty. Really enjoyed my bruleed grapefruit as a fun starter, and the breakfast was satisfying after the previous night of drinking! 3.5 because although I enjoyed myself, I wished our server was a bit more attentive & quick.
Love this breakfast place. Everything is meticulously served to you. The fruits were fresh and delicious. Ambiance is great. Owners are awesome and will take care of you! Delicious coffee from Analog.
Wow! Had to wait 30 min but the host/owner was super and def worth the wait! Had the coffee (ahem... Analog Coffee of Calgary is there beans and blend) and the Sundried Tomatoe Sausage Frittata with hash browns and cup of fresh fruit salad! Terrific and kitchen cook is the other owner. Service and food 10 for 10. Peace
If you live in Calgary, you must visit Monki at least once. Take my advice to arrive there early. Anytime after 9am, you will be caught in a long line. The banana & frangelico cream cheese stuffed french toast, topped with nutella & condensed milk might appear daunting, but it was so delicious and well-balanced that you would be in ecstasy.
