Review Five Guys - Calgary

We got three cheese burgers (two patties); One large fries and one large drink; with 10% tip comes to $46. Burgers are big and filling; you can choose as many toppings as you want, which is great but be careful too many will make it soggy. Freshly prepared that’s why ten to 15 minutes wait time. We got Cajun fries, our favourite. Staff made a mistake and gave us regular fries but then they readily made Cajun for us. Fries come in glass which I think should be in a box. We asked no mushrooms in one burger but all three had them.. minor. Place was little messy, could be due to people bringing snow and mud with their shoes. Place is little noisy, I heard kitchen staff talking or announcing loudly while preparing food. We also got milk shake, again third mistake; got different but staff gave immediately the one we asked. Seems like to me under staffed because we had to ask to get table clean, which was also done right away. Busy place but spacious. Overall staff very friendly and efficient. If you want fresh and good quality cheep and big burger, this is place to go.. Enjoy 😊

Great burgers! Really tasty and I like all the choices for toppings. This is the place to go if you want your classic style burger and toppings. The fries and poutine were excellent as well. There were four people in our group and everyone had something different, but we all thoroughly enjoyed everything. Also, the staff were friendly and the place was very clean.

As far as fast food joints go, the Burgers at 5 guys are solid. One thing you should know is the regular burg is a double patty so don't go ordering that with a minor appetite, get the little burger as much as the name hurts your ego. Good portion of fries, can't go wrong with the Cajun seasoning, get a side of your favorite dip and some extra napkins, you're gonna need em. Friendly staff at this location and decent high chairs for the little monsters, what more are ya looking for when you get to pick the toppings, it's really your fault if it's not your fancy.

Went to the Deerfoot Meadows location today and ordered a bacon cheese burger all the way with no tomato and add BBQ sauce. First attempt came out with tomato's, no BBQ Sauce and no bacon. Second attempt came out with just BBQ sauce and nothing else on it??? Third attempt came out no bacon, tomatoes, and no grilled onion. I have no idea what the lady cooking was doing. We were the only people in there. Every time I asked if her if she wanted to write it down. She said she was fine. If I'm paying 12 dollars for a single burger, I'd love to have it the way I ordered it. I don't know how you can order the same burger 3 times and get 3 different burgers? Everyone else ate while I got to watch them, then they left since we were waiting so long for my burger, so sat alone eating my burger that was nothing what I actually ordered. Also a side note last few times we were there they had fries sitting on the fry area already cooked, and just dipped it in the fryer for a minute to warm them up. They are hard as a rock and super dry.

1st time at this location and I felt very welcomed. Made my order spot on correct and the staff morale was fantastic! Food was excellent, in large size portions and they're very diligent on keeping their restaurant and tables clean. Definitely will come back when I'm in the area! Great place for lunch! Highly recommended!

Staff was friendly. Milkshake could have been mixed a little more as there was a lot of chocolate on the bottom, but as it was quickly done because they "forgot" it, it wasn't that bad. But more importantly, the food should have been hot since we had to wait for it to be made. Unfortunately it was lukewarm. Am hoping this was an unusual occurence. Will try again, but if the food isn't hotter than warm, I won't be returning. Sorry guys because it really was a tasty burger.

It was by far the messiest burger I’ve ever eaten, but it was delicious. You can taste the quality and freshness in the ingredients they serve up here, I got delivery so I can’t vouch for the in-store experience but the food is definitely setting the bar for burgers.

Just sending a shout out to Desiree (Manager) and her 3 staff members for the great job on putting together a custom 30 burger order today!! She did an amazing job keeping everyone organized, keeping the walk in customers moving and didn't make a single mistake on our order. Thank you for lunch today!!
