This location had extremely friendly baristas and one heck of a smooth cappuccino. Their coffee used (a black honey roast I believe) is well-balanced and superb! If you're inclined, their breakfast sandwich is what a groggy "day-after" dream is made of. Perfect before heading off to the mountains!

This is my favourite coffee shop. The coffee is great and the staff are better. They're just friendly enough that you don't want to tear their chipper heads off before you've had your first cup of coffee in the morning. They've hit that zen spot of happiness that isn't annoyingly happy.
The gluten free coffee cake is awesome and I'm pro-gluten. Usually, the more gluten the better but this coffee cake needs none.
5 stars will drink coffee here again and again.

there is really food but its expensive a sandwich is 10 dollars although its very delicious i find pricy for not only me but many people. there matcha coffee was 6 dollars around that and it wasn't as appealing as i though it would be kind of made me regret to buy the coffee what so ever.the last time i went i was told that i would have to leave if i don't buy something i would have to leave which i completely understand but theres was a variety of food that it did take me sometime to choose what i want therefore making it seem like i was not going to buy something. overall the place itself is nice well furnished and painted.

I've been here several times. While their coffee is really good, their cold brew is absolutely horrible. Cute place to hang out in, and lots of seats. Never had to wait for a seat.

This is the first Rosso location that we've had the chance to check out, and it is absolutely darling! It has such an amazing rustic feel to it, with gorgeous tables. My hubby had a latté and I had a soy London fog, without the sweetener. They have their own unique earl grey blend, which was a but different but quite nice. Added some honey just because it wasn't as flavorful as usual - should have kept the bag in for longer. Excited to be back again soon! They even have Truebuch kombucha on tap, and sell really fun apparel as well.

Loved the space! Plenty of seats indoor with tons of natural light. It is a great place to have casual meetups. I really liked their chai latte - strongly spiced and slightly sweetened.

I only went in to buy espresso beans (Two Wheel Espresso) for my home espresso machine. I am trying to sample all of the different local roasters. Staff was friendly. I found that for the price I got a small amount of beans compared to other local roasters/distributors. The beans were roasted 10 days before which isn't bad but it would be nice to have some fresh ones (since they are roasted in the city and I am sure they were in the back room). The flavor of the espresso was ok but not my style. I won't likely buy any more beans here unless they come out with some new espresso roasts.

Amazing coffee - best cappuccino/latte in Calgary! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Most clientele is from surrounding businesses so you won't find the place full of "bloggers on their mac books" taking up tables. The menu is catered to comfort food and can be a bit heavy/greasy but if you're looking for that, I recommend the Meatloaf on Rye. Love to support local, and it's not hard when they're doing it right!

So slow. Don't go here if you're in a hurry. At 915am on a Sunday, it took forever to get my single coffee. There were only 2 people ahead of me. If you like Phil and Sebastien coffee, there's tastes like that.

Amazing Americano!. My husband and I just happened to park right in front of this coffee shop before we headed over to the bmo centre. I could tell he needed a coffee so as he went in while I paid for parking. I walked in and he already had his coffee in hand and telling me to take a sip. Now my husband knows that I don't really like the taste of coffee but I could tell he liked it so I gave it a try. It was really smooth even without a ton of sugar and cream (that's what I usually do) He ordered an Americano and said it was the best coffee he had ever had. I knew I had to write a review because he is a coffee snob and him saying it was the best was a big thing! If we lived closer I'm sure we would be regulars!

Out of the Way Location Still Does Coffee Right. Up to the design standards of Caffe Rosso? Check. <br/>In a convenient location? Depends on where you're coming from.<br/>Near an icecream shop? Check (coffee and icecream anyone?)<br/><br/>Had a delicious pour over. Maybe a tad strong, but I don't believe it was on the menu so I'm grateful for the hospitality of having a drink made especially after asking. Will go again if in the neighbourhood. Highly recommended!

Slowest Service in the World. I do love their breakfast sandwiches, but they often take over 20 minutes to make one. Not a good thing when I'm in a rush to get to work in the morning. Which is why I ordered a bagel this morning, so I won't have to wait so long. Unfortunately that also took 20 minutes to bring out. So frustrating. And the bag was covered in what appears to be guacamole. I can't wait for other coffee places to pop up in this neighbourhood.

Hit and Miss. This place isn't very consistent. Food and service is hit and miss. Sometimes what I eat is delicious, sometimes it's awful. Sometimes the service is great, sometimes it's not.<br/><br/>The chai is delicious, but it is often luke warm, not hot which is how I would prefer tea or lattes. The pesto chicken sandwich I had last week was dry, really overcooked chicken, and had maybe three spinach leaves on it. I had my sandwich to stay and it was served with potato chips on the side. Nothing special, pretty clear they were out of a bag of stale-ish old dutch ripple chips. The chips were served in a small glass mason jar, which is really cute, but the jar had a chip in it and was sharp enough to cut myself on. <br/><br/>Too bad. I'd love for this place to be awesome and it really could be.

I had a bad experience at the Victoria Park location. The woman at the cash register seemed disinterested in taking my order and borderline rude. The chicken pesto on ciabatta was flavorless and therefore overpriced. The chai latte wasn't bad, but it was negated by the experience of everything else.
