My first experience at Brasserie was awesome thanks to Anika and Kellie! Amazing food, great service, and a charming brunch all around. I highly recommend upgrading your brunch with mimosas or a ceasar!
Went to the Brasserie for the first time for Sunday High Tea with my staff from oranj fitness Kensington! Amazing guests experience, our servers were lovely and the owner Cam was awesome! We had a vegan with us and her vegan-friendly high tea options were unreal! We can't wait to go back! By far one of THE BEST places for high tea! Thanks Brasserie!
Haven't been there in ages! Might have to make the drive from Banff to have the best food!! Plus that Jorel guy is so handsome!!!
The service was fantastic. I was starving and cranky and couldn't make up my mind. Our server was incredibly attentive and patient with our orders. We ended up having four courses, each better than the last. The food was baller. My steak was great. We will be back.
I love this place, great food, great beer list, Poutine Tuesday a.k.a. Poutine on the Ritz
We attended our first Down and Dirty night which is a 10 course meal with 10 paired cocktails. We left 4 1/2 hours later stuffed and satisfied. Chiefs from around the city worked with mixologists to blow us away 10 times. Awesome night at a fantastic restaurant.
Un super repas en famille. Le staff au top et des desserts à tomber par terre! Merci!
We had a great dinner with my 2 little ones and husband. On holiday from France and enjoyed Calgary's take on the Cassoulet!

I have come to Brasserie for the last 3 years for the Diagon Alley/Fantasy Faire day. The food is amazing and the service is outstanding. I always look forward to eating here!
Afternoon tea - Excellent variety of flavours & styles. Unique & classic dainties were generally well-executed. Many locally-sourced ingredients & tasty tea from Naked Leaf across the street (4.5/5)!
Foie gras poutine, duck and burger. Really great! Good service and great location. We had a great time at the Brasserie in Kensington. Looking forward to the summer so we can go back and sit on the patio.
The Brasserie in Kensington has been on my wishlist for a very long time – probably the 5 years that I’ve been in Calgary. I know, I know… how can I be the #2 ranked food blogger in Zomato and not have eaten at Brasserie yet? Well, there are just so many places in Calgary to try (it can actually be somewhat overwhelming!). With a 10am (opening) reservation on a Sunday the two of us were five minutes early and told that we could be seated, but not served. Interesting. So, 10am rolls around and we order coffee and catch up. Oddly, the cream in T’s coffee turned somewhat scummy so we asked for a fresh cup and some fresh cream. The server seemed to get a bit defensive and suggested that all the cream is the same, but brought the new coffee and cream after some convincing. Thankfully the next cup was fine.
I came here for a high tea lunch with my girlfriends, and it's the classiest we have felt in a while! The atmosphere is homey and the servers were really patient with our endless tea requests.
The high tea was $35 and featured both savory and sweet treats such as deviled eggs, biscuits, and chocolate tarts. There was an array of unique fusion menu items as well. Some of these flavours are a hit-and-miss, but we were open to the adventure of it. We had four summer tea choices and these were more than enough because they were all outstanding and we were always torn with what tea to go for next.
Came here for Father's Day brunch and ordered the special which consisted of mushroom and asparagus stuffed potato skins with a veggie hash. The potato skins were good (though tough to cut through). Unfortunately, the hash wasn't a potato hash but rather just a mix of corn, peas, and a few pieces of pepper. Didn't love my meal but my companions enjoyed theirs. I'll return to try something off their regular brunch menu.
Atmosphere and service were both great.
It took me a while to come here and I'm really glad I did finally. The cassoulet is killer and definitely one of best versions West of Quebec. I was told it was somebody's Moms recipe. It had just the right amount of a little kick to it that really cut through the richness of that dish. The ceaser salad was a bit disappointing as I found the dressing too sweet however the steak bavette and pecan pie more than made up for that. A+ I will be back eventually
The Big Taste menu offers a stellar deal. For only $18 we could start off with Peasant Duck Broth Soup or Green Bean and Lentil Salad. For our main, we could pick between the Brasserie Grilled Gruyere & Raclette Cheese & Vegetable Sandwich, Brasserie Beef Bourguignon with toasted Baguette or Crispy Chicken sandwich with collard green coleslaw. For dessert, there was the option of Baked Alaska with Italian meringue & house made coffee ice cream, Chocolate waffles with white chocolate sauce & confit apple, or Coconut Creme Brûlée.
Stopped in to the brasserie last night before a performance and it was wonderful. The server greeted and seated us immediately and offer complimentary still or sparkling water. They had a modest wine list with some really wonderful selections. The French Chardonnay and Oregon Pinot Gris were both excellent. The food was delicious and had a twist of ingredients that were incorporated in to each dish. They also have happy hour from 3-6 daily!
Brasserie Kensington has a very cool, relaxed vibe for a place that serves such high quality French-inspired cuisine. I had the house-ground beef brisket burger with French onion soup - to die for. My friend had the veggie burger held together with a nice, melted slice of gruyere. The only downside was that both burgers were so messy we ended up using knives and forks to finish our meals.I’d love to come here with a few friends for late night drinks and appies or book a romantic dinner with scallops, steak and a bottle of wine. Lunchtime sandwiches and people-watching through their huge front windows would be great too! Fresh, appetizing meal options, friendly service, the casual atmosphere and a cool location make this a great place for groups or date nights! I highly recommend Brasserie Kensington.
Brunch: Rating 3.5/5
Ordered
1) Lamb Hash with two poached eggs off of the regular menu
2) Biscuit, Gravy, Homemade Sausage, Fried Potatoes and Eggs off of their Meal Share menu
Both dishes were great.
Atmosphere: There was no line for brunch - we were able to walk in and get a seat without reservations. The place wasn't packed with a brunch crowd waiting for seats staring at your food with hungry eyes from the waiting area making it much more relaxing.
High Tea: rating2/5
I can't remember if it was $35 or $40 per person. The restaurant appears to set aside select tables at the front for tea service. These tables are set with a table cloth and mix matched tea sets. The other tables and booth was set aside for their regular menu, which I found it a bit weird to be enjoying high tea at your table, and then the guests at the next table are having beers.
You received a selection of sandwiches and canapes, deviled egg, scones with preserves and creme fraiche, and cookies and macaron to finish. Everything was bite size and average, except the macarons - those were pretty horrible. The shells were bumpy and filled with air.
I've been here for dinner as well and would have given those experiences 5/5. As such, the average of all the experiences would be 3.5/5.
Defining themselves as a “Canadian Brasserie inspired by local ingredients,” the menu quite French while the design and high Tea service on weekends lean British, Brasserie Kensington has achieved notoriety by way of its focus on simple, honest cooking and bold flavors, lunch at eleven o’clock on a Tuesday finding the frequently-packed space far less buzzy than usual, the first twenty-minutes spent dining in exclusivity.
Open from Lunch through Late-night, a short flight of stairs placing the heavily wooded dining room above a bar beneath, it was with greetings from a youthful gentleman in buttoned flannel featuring wild animals that ‘any seat you like’ was offered, the front window looking out on the street from which the restaurant takes its name providing a bit of people watching throughout the course of the meal.
Playing music ranging from White Stripes to The Tragically Hip, a television behind the bar showing American football, it was not long after ordering that a two-ounces of creamy Duck Liver arrived on grilled Brioche, the individualized squares from Rougie perfectly portioned and ideal for sharing with a spoonful of Peach Jam, though fans of Foie Gras will no doubt be compelled to eat the whole thing.
Tempted by plats du jour, an absolute bargain for those looking for a substantial-yet-expedited business lunch, any thoughts of braised local Beef were cast aside the moment Cassoulet entered my line of vision, the small-ish bowl without much Broth still packing quite a wallop with Duck and Pork plus the unmistakable flavor of Offal mixed with soft White Beans stewed with Herbs and Tomatoes.
Making the obvious choice for dessert, the Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake in January producing a chuckle while Earl Grey Crème Brulee is simply not my style, it was with greedy eyes that I starred at the lump of Bread Pudding before diving in, melted Dark Chocolate richly infusing every centimeter of the springy Brioche topped in a slowly melting ball of Coconut Ice Cream with the added bonus of Hot Fudge and Pomegranate Seeds.
*****UPDATE (2/22/2017): I've been here a couple of more times since I posted this review (unedited below), and I have to say that their service and my experience has improved. Thank you!*****
The food is simply amazing here. It has a very unique menu with delicious twists on certain popular food items. I've been here for brunch/lunch twice and the food was consistently incredible.
However, I do warn people about the service here. The first time we were here, we waited for 10 minutes to get our drinks, as the server admitted she was extremely hungover on this Sunday (back in April/May). The service continued to be abysmal without asking us for top-ups, how the food is, etc. The restaurant was not busy so there is no excuse for this, as we see the bartender and waitress talk among themselves while we're waiting for service. The second time I was here was a smooth experience, as I waited two months to go back due to our first experience. No complaints here. The third time we attempted to come here, the doorman told us he didn't want to sit us in the beautiful corner by the window in case a party of 3 or 4 wanted to come instead. We didn't think twice and just walked away. That was very poor customer service and it is exactly the reason I warn everyone about this place's service. They didn't make us feel welcome.
Again, the food is amazing here, I just am disappointed with the manner their service is conducted, and affects my decision to eat at the container bar and the wine bar (which I inquired is owned by the same person/people). The food is definitely worth it, regardless of the service.
Last minute decision as we had an event nearby. Was able to get a reservation with only 24 hours notice on a Friday night! Restaurant is relaxed and comfortable. Our food was interesting and tasty... Pig ears?!? Nice spot for dinner on a busy weekend in Kensington!
Sooooo good. I've been here twice now because there are so many items on there brunch menu that I need to try. Had a group of 20 people and the service was great. Some of the eggs came out cooked wrong but the overall experience was amazing.
Great French food. Great prices. Amazing service! Some favourites have been the saffron cream mussels and steak tartare (best in the city)!
Probably one of the best food I've ever had in my life. Amazing ambiance for date night. Creative and delicious menu, it's seriously a brilliant mix of French flavours with a modern Canadian twist.
Just stopped in here for a late night snack walking around in Kensington. Server wasn't overly friendly but didn't brush us off even though we didn't order much. Would be willing to come back and try again for a full dinner.
Brasserie Kensington is an unassuming French bistro that combines casual aesthetics with fine dining. I have been here a few times, usually for brunch and lunch, and I have found them to perform consistently each time. The service is quite friendly, and I thought that they did a good job balancing the volume of the music so that you can easily manage a conversation throughout the meal. The menu itself specializes in traditional French fares, and highlights the use of foie gras and duck in many of their dishes. I found the prices to be fair, given the quality of the food, and a favourite of mine would have to be the French onion soup. Filled with generous amounts of Gruyere, fresh onions, and crostini, this soup just warms you to the bone with every sip. Fantastic staple of Calgary's food scene!
This is our new favorite restaurant.
Fantastic menu.
Terrific people and service.
Amazing food. AMAZING!
Great drinks.
Lovely atmosphere.
Friendly and knowledgable staff.
I only want to eat here now.
I wouldn't change anything about Brasserie Kensington.
Guys, you nailed it. 👏👏👏
Inspired by a fusion of classic French cooking techniques and local produce and meat, our kitchen is known around Calgary (and beyond) for its exceptional quality and creative dishes. Our menu highlights childhood favourites like grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup and fish & chips alongside French bistro classics like steak & frites and bouillabaisse.
Chef Cam is killing it here, bringing some seriously delicious food in a casual setting. If you want to take time for a pint, sit back and enjoy some of Kensington's best eats, just visit Brasserie and let them take care of you.
It's been awhile since I've been to Brasserie. Thank you to beltline bites for his review and making me realize I haven't been there. My gf came here last night for dinner. We love fries so we had to get that. I ordered the brasserie club with only the bottom bun haha since I don't usually eat the top part. Weird hey. I usually prefer the protein style with 2 lettuce. I substituted regular pomme frites with the Parmesan truffle ones and they were soo worth it. I wish my crispy chicken thigh was a bit more crispy, but I still enjoyed it. My gf got the croque madam which was super good but could do less mustard. loved how the egg was done and with eat bite there was soo much flavour. Overall great dinner and wonderful service. :) Will be back for brunch one day!
Now I’m a sucker for any kind of hash dish, so I had to order the lamb hash with soft poached eggs. As the dish arrived and I immediately knew I had ordered correctly – it was presented beautifully. Perfectly poached egg, crispy fingerling potatoes and lightly sautéed tomatoes and arugula made for an awesome play on textures. The deceivingly light hollandaise, smokiness of the lamb and bacon lardons and the freshness from the vegetables provided a great balance of flavours. However I could have gone for a bit more acidity or some fresh herbs to cut through the richness but that’s just me nitpicking. A great dish overall and pretty much on par with what I was expecting from Brasserie.
The duck rillette sandwich is absolutely to DIE for. The servers are always super personable and a joy to have around. The gin ginger tea is also an amazing winter drink that warms the soul, and it's so great to know this place supports its local vendors for ingredients.
Best food in the entire city. Seriously go try it. everything is SOOO GOOD.I don't know if the owner reads this but if they do.. I wish the poutine was a bit more affordable. I love everything on the menu and really want to try the poutine but can't justify the price.
I first found the brasserie after becoming enamored with duck fat fried french fries, and liked the many different poutine options.
Decor: this restaurant is definitely cozy - tables are small and it's fairly dimly lit unless you are right by the window - I really like the fireplace! The specials are on a chalkboard and can be hard to read unless you get up from your table to stand in front of it
Food: The poutine options are the best part of the menu though the foie Gras poutine isn't worth its price tag - not enough foie! Their entrees can be hit or miss - their house burger was fairly ordinary but I really enjoy their feature menu (in the picture was a meatloaf sandwich, which I loved)!
Service: I always feel like I am being rushed out the door when I eat here, whether the restaurant is busy or not - even when I've made reservations I am frequently reminded that we 'should' be done at a certain time.
Overall: good poutine with OK service
Dinner and breakfast, loved them both. Went for dinner this past weekend and loved it. I had the brisket burger and the Mrs had the fried chicken. Both were delicious, and I do think the burger was one of the better ones I've had in a long while. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, and the 2nd floor location gives a nice view of the Kensington pedestrian traffic.
Decided to try out the breakfast the next day, and again we were not disappointed. Breakfast poutine for me, Eggs Benny for her...all good. We will be coming back.
Love this place!. Duck! you need too try their duck legs!!!! I crave them all the time. Croquet Madam was full of flavour. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is great. Get a table by the window and people watch from the second floor overlooking Kensington Road. Absolutely fabulous.
For real food and drink lovers, this is your place. With winter setting in, you just feel like going to a brasserie. My friend and i decided to hit up Brasserie for dinner as we had really loved our brunch there (they have duck confit and waffles, who wouldn't).
As soon as we walked in the door we had not one, but servers greet us. Now Brasserie is for real food and drink lovers, the people that work there seems to live and breath it. We decided to sit by the kitchen so we could see the action and it's so open you really feel like you are a part of it all. Our server made a couple of great suggestions for drinks form their rotating cocktail menu, these were bourbon based and so good. Really well balanced and well made cocktails. To go with that we started with the crispy chicken skin and pig ears. I did not have high hopes for these but our server recommended them and he was dead on with the cocktails so figured what could hurt?! Holy smokes they were both amazing!! I never thought i'd be craving pig ears and chicken skin. They were perfectly fried and meaty and crispy. So great.
For our main we split the bouillabaisse and the poutine with foie. We are at a french brasserie, we had to have foie. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Once again, we let our server (a super funny guy with a beard and loads of knowledge) pick our drinks. We each got a really well paired glass of wine and each worked well with both dish. Not easy to do.
To finish we got this ridiculously good ice cream sandwich(i mean how can you go wrong), and maybe another cocktail.
All and all, an amazing night of great food, great service and the energy in the place is makes you want to stay forever. It's really where you want to be.
Food here was great! the gentleman who served was extremely knowledgable with the menu (food and drinks) and made excellent suggestions.
Great food!. I met with a friend for one of those weekend lunches that are like "let's eat great food, drink wine and catch up on everything". The atmosphere was great-We had an excellent view of Kensington and could people watch. I also have to disagree with some previous reviewers about the music, because my experience has been that it is one of the few places in Calgary where you can actually hear your company. The wine was outstanding-we were able to sample a few before we zeroed in on the bottle we wanted. The poutine was divine and perfect for sharing. I also had the French Onion soup which was delicious but what really stood out to me was their burger. It might be one of the best I've had in Calgary to date: juicy and well-seasoned. I will definitely be back!
Magnifique!. This place takes comfort food to a whole new dimension. We shared the poutine with cheese curds fried in Brome Lake duck fat, which was a rare occasion treat that sent my taste buds and fat cells dancing all evening. Whole roasted garlic mushrooms were an amazing treat that were full of garlicky flavour that Emeril Legasse would not need to "take it up a notch". The slow cooked braised lamb shank falls apart with an incredible taste and texture. The memory is truly a mouth watering delight, and I can't wait to go back but first I have to burn off those calories. Burn baby burn!
Cute place with friendly staff. I went here last Saturday for brunch and the menu was very different (in a good way!). Staff was super nice and welcoming. Would go again for breakfast and would love to try their dinner (more specifically, mussells & frites nomm)
Food was delicious, service was good, although brusque. Excellent selection of both food and liquor. Atmosphere is great, romantic but very relaxed. High prices are justified by portion size.
Elegant and Tasty. I have recently been to this place for one of my friends birthday party. I fell in love with the place, they have wonderful ambiance, an open kitchen and most of their items on their menu featured duck and its products. Very elegant menu, fresh flavors, you can taste the meat and vegetables perfectly. If you love duck blindly order anything with duck on their menu.
The service was really good. As I stopped drinking, i had no chance to taste their wine and beer collections. They are bit expensive but worth the money. But, all in all its an excellent place if you want to take someone out on a fancy dinner. Hats off to the awesome chef and wonderful staff. Will be visiting you guys soon :)
By far the most enjoyable experience I've had in a restaurant as of recent. I have tried many new restaurants lately and this sits on the top due to my 10/10 dining experience. Everything from the appys to the deserts, perfectly cooked steak, homemade ketchup, to the attentive, knowledgable, and friendly server was absolutely bomb. I commend this place and will definitely be back introducing my other friends to this tasty delight.
So delicious. The lamb Burger is to die for.
Probably the best burger I've ever had! Can even order it cooked medium. Melt in your mouth. Great little hipster hole in the wall ambiance. My only complaint is there was no organic or sulfate free wine on the menu.
Still Salivating. The sharp contrast between intricately crafted European cuisine and a new-age pub vibe make dining at Brasserie Kensington an extraordinary experience. If there's one thing that this place doesn't lack, it's character. Walking up the stairs to the main entrance, I knew that I was in for a treat when a small sign on the door read something along the lines of "The door is not locked, you're just weak".
Upon entering, a friendly hostess (who turned out to be our server) asked if we would like a spot by the window, or the fireplace. We chose a window seat, which might have been a bit cramped on a Friday or Saturday evening, but wasn't too bad given the fact that we were dining on a Thursday which left the restaurant only half-full.
I can't speak highly enough about our server who was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive. The Brass boasts an incredible beer menu, but upon finding out that their supply of Chimay Blue was depleted, our server came back to the table holding two alternatives for me to consider instead of just asking for me to make another choice. Well played.
Now to the food. As an appetizer, what the the Atlantic scallops & crispy pork belly lacked in quantity was made up for in taste-bud popping quality. Then, just as our taste-buds were coming back to Earth, our mains arrived. The Brandy peppercorn Alberta beef hanger steak was cooked to perfection at medium-rare, while my roasted "Brome Lake" duck breast may have been so good that only a single tear dropped from my left eye. Somehow, we still found room to share the Popcorn Creme Brulee which was a perfect combination of cream & crunch.
This restaurant kicked some serious brass, I am already looking forward to my next dining experience there. Keep up the great work.
Not bad. Had the steak fries and it was OK, had a bite of my companions lamb dish and it was excellent. So go with the lamb in this place
Friday Lunch @ Brasserie. I hit Kensington for an Easter weekend walk with the wife & discovered Brasserie Kensington. The best part when we went in we were lucky enough to find out we hit their 3-6pm happy hour appies just by chance (apparently happy hour is tues- friday 3-6pm half price appies)! We tried half of their appy menu & it was tasty! The pork hock poutine was awesome & the steak tartare was a perfect afteroon treat! I would highly recommend to give it a try as I will be going back for very soon.
SO good! One of my favorite places for brunch in the city. Or dinner! Be prepared for a little higher price point on the menu items but the food is worth it. I've been here quite a few times and have never had an issue with service - it's always been great! This is one of the places I bring out-of-towners because it is consistently good. Highly recommend!
One of the best dining experiences ever!. The was our first trip to Brasserie. We didn't make a reservation and that turned out to be the best thing that could've happened. The only seating available was at the Chef's counter. It was amazing! We got to watch all the preparations and learn about the restaurant while enjoying some delicious food! My son and husband had the pork hock poutine, I had the nicoise salad with seared ahi, and my son's girlfriend had the fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious!! It was served the minute it was finished being prepared as was the food for the rest of the patrons. The staff was amazing, answered all our questions, and offered up lots of useful information. I even tried foie gras ice cream and it was sooooooo good!! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a delicious meal in a great atmosphere!!
Let me start by saying that I love the food here. I've never had anything but great, spot on flavour. Last night was my fourth visit...and something happened that I found really annoying. We were seated by the open kitchen. Normally I like this because its fun to watch them cook. I found the kitchen staff last night extremely unprofessional. When they were slow I saw them all huddled around looking at someone's cell phone laughing.
I feel like a higher level of professionalism is expected here. It left a bad taste in my mouth.
The service was great and the new (ish) manager is such an improvement over the other guy who thought wearing a hoodie to work was appropriate.
Nice brunch place in Kensington, had the hangar steak which was a little bit disappointing. Good size portion but pricey for what you get.
Great place!. Great setting - cozy interior and nice view of Kensington.
Food was great. Started with the soft pretzels which were very good and well priced at $5.00.
Tried the lamb burger and side salad. Delicious! Great combination of flavours - the lamb was moist and well spiced and the blue cheese was divine.
The chocolate terrine with peanut butter ice cream is great too - the ice cream was amazing.
Great beer and wine selection. Will definitely return.
Saturday Brunch. The restaurant was buzzing and we had no reservations. The hostess was able to assess table movement accurately, warned us that she'd have to sit us at the bar, and invited us to shop in Kensington for 15 minutes. She is an asset to the entire neighborhood!
We came back 15 minutes later and were seated promptly, at the bar, in front of the kitchen. It was noisy but fun to watch. Chef engaged us in conversation. Our waiter was attentive and equally engaging, inviting us to chat with our neighbors about the quality of the daily specials, which these neighboring diners had ordered. The food was truly satisfying. I ordered eggs, sausage and potatoes. Quality ingredients were used and nicely spiced. My over- hard eggs were cooked to perfection. (In many restaurants, I usually have to send my eggs back to be cooked fully).
My dining partner ordered crab cakes, which were divine. I would go back for brunch in a heart beat!
Good food, though maybe a few bucks over in price. Great food selection. Slight snobbish service. Overdressed salad. Very noisy atmosphere later in the evening. I would try it again.
The Brasserie in Kensington is one of the best meals we've had in Calgary in a long time. To be honest, we didn't expect it - it was such a small place, kind of contrived and trying really hard to be hip.
Fortunately, the place totally exceeded our expectations. The ambiance was cool but the music wasn't too intrusive, a soccer match was on the big screen but, also, not intrusive. Our waitress was excellent - just the right amount of friendly, super-informed about the menu and how food was prepared and willing to make recommendations (which were all exactly right).
We started with a foie gras appetizer which was served with a wonderful onion marmalade.
My hubby had the veal burger (which he said was one of the best burgers he's ever had in the city) and I had the pork-belly sliders. Nice flavors and perfect-sized portions.
Dessert was divine. I had the chocolate mousse which was too die! D had the creme brûlée and loved it.
We paid a small fee for unlimited mineral water which was lovely and were impressed with the bill (even less then we predicted).
We are so glad to have found this little gem. We'll be back!
Classy Casual. Kind & attentive server.
Decent wine selection.
Bouillabaisse: tasty broth, heavy on the potatoes, scallops & shrimp cooked perfectly, would have preferred the calamari not to be deep fried
I shall return!
Excellent brunch!. The Kensington Brasserie is one of my favorite spots for brunch. The menu is lovely, the food is delicious, and always perfectly cooked. I highly recommend the Hanger Steak & Eggs! The service is attentive without being annoying, and they've kindly substituted without issue and without extra charge (i.e. salad instead of potatoes; sliced tomatoes instead of toast). I will keep going back :)
Cant wait to come back. Went out for a lunch for the big taste calgary, had the pulled duck sandwhich and that was amazing, along with creme brule, service was friendly and great, i definatly will be coming back soon for some breakfast/brunch
Worth breaking the diet. Fois Gras Poutine. Gotta have it!!!!!
GREAT Food. I just read the negative review from January 2012, and then laughed as I read all that reviewers other reviews on their profile. There's just no pleasing some people.
Went to the Brasserie for a friend's birthday and the food was fantastic. Cozy atmosphere, somewhat pricey drinks but the food, that's why you have to go.
The poutine is as good and better than people have been saying. If you're going to splurge on poutine then this is the place to do it. The beef bourguignon is also amazing, possibly better than the poutine. Fancy french fare that melts in your mouth for a reasonable price. What else can you ask for
Love it and will be back!. The drink selection (especially the beer) at this place is amazing! Love the vibe and food choices too! Great service!
One of the best breakfasts I've had in a while! The Eggs Benedict with ham was perfect - not heavy like some do it but still satisfying. Also got the fruit salad and every piece of fruit was ripe and delicious. If I lived in Calgary I'd go here often.
