I’ve been to this Earls location numerous times and today was the first time I was completely blown away. The service Bri provided us was amazing. It was a busier night and there were only three servers on and you could tell she was busy but she didn’t act like it. She took her time with us and it felt like she genuinely cared. She got our confusing order correct and even surprised me with a birthday cake for my birthday. What an amazing start to the new year.

I recently dined in with my family for Mother’s Day. They have excellent service and the ambience is very nice. The restaurant does not get loud which was nice. They have the best truffle fries!

Lots of great plant-based vegan options. The vegan Mother Earth Bowl was beautifully presented, filling, and tasty. Nice ambience and decor, fast and efficient service, and friendly staff.

Took myself on a solo date here today and my experience was very acceptable.
Pros: wonderful atmosphere, for the first half of my visit the server had impeccable timing with quality checking/getting my order in, solid vegan options, comfortable seating and soft warm lighting.
Cons: server missed some order notes, and when my meal was finished I sat for about 20 minutes (mask and coat on, clearly ready to pay and leave) with no acknowledgment and ended up being late for a meeting because of it.
Still a good experience though and I’d gladly return.

A perfect spot on a Friday night, Beautiful atmosphere amazing staff. Happy hour definitely saves the day with the endless options of cheap drinks, that are done impeccably. 9$ espresso martini I’ll be there!

Honestly felt a very strong sense of discrimination coming from the hostess when 7 of us tried to get a table at around 11:30 PM on Canada Day. The restaurant was barely occupied, with probably 25% capacity. We went to the front and was ignored by several of the staff and finally got the attention of the hostess at the front. We politely asked if they had room for a table of 7 and we literally could not believe the air of arrogance we received from her. She responded in the most rude voice that they aren’t taking a table of 7 because their servers cannot handle that volume right now and just turned around and walked away. It was so abrupt and rude and frankly disgusting - it wasn’t even what she was saying but her tone. We figured it’d be hard to get a table on Canada Day with the number of people we had, but we were polite when asking. Also, what restaurant does not prepare themselves for proper staffing on a national holiday in a hotspot in the city? We didn’t even get a chance to ask further questions such as splitting up the tables, since she had literally turned her back to us already. But what really disturbs me is that you could tell that she was judging that we were a party of colour and perhaps had biases that our business wouldn’t be worth their server’s time. We all left feeling like it truly stemmed from discrimination as we all heard her tone and what it entailed. Im disappointed in this experience as we have always enjoyed going to Earl’s after work but the way we were treated last night when the restaurant was empty, being ignored and then getting turned away will forever leave a sour taste in my mouth.
I was looking through recent reviews to see if anyone else has experienced the same type of discrimination in the past and it looked like someone was turned away in a very similar situation. I hope management strongly reevaluates their sensitivity training and staffing issues.

I use to love this place, but their quality has gone down. I remember they use to substitute their rice with quinoa and that’s no longer an option. As well as no more Bellini’s…
Sad that I can’t love this place anymore.
