Place was nice, they had live music. food is normally good, however, didn’t like the rib beef dip in a pretzel bread, they were friendly and quick, there is pool billiards to play

Sunny patio in the afternoon, good spot for people watching and having some casual bites and drinks with friends. Not anything over the top, good neighborhood pub though.

I travel every week for work and eat at restaurants everyday. This is the best service I ever gotten over the past couple months. Amazing staff, food is great also. I wish I could put more stars just for the service. Extremely quick and efficient. Thank you for such an amazing experience. Will definitely come back.

To be honest, I never had the chance to try out this establishment. My family came here for dinner but we’re turned away from the waitress for having minors with us. We explained that we just wanted to eat but was told no. The menu looked good and we came hungry but never had the chance to give them our business. A heads up on their website would have been nice. We ventured to a Revival Brewcade across the street. I would highly recommend it. Great wings and beer! Happy hour included $5 pints! Our family was pleasantly surprised and happy with our visit! Lots of games from the 90’s!!

Loved this place in the beautiful neighbourhood of inglewood. We sat outside in the patio which was nice on a warm pleasant day. We had their fish and chips which was great and was also just for 15cad on Friday evening. For drinks we just had their house draught which was nice and light. Would surely visit again to try more of their food items. They also had live music on a Friday night

I enjoyed the penne pasta. Service was good. I thought the total dinner price a little high even with happy hour pricing. The one frustrating part of dinner was when the live entertainment kicked in. The singer was great; however the sound was so loud talking became impossible; hence the 4 stars. We had to leave earlier than anticipated due to the high decibels.

Good atmosphere and quick service and healthy portions for the price. Great place upstairs or main floor

First time going since the re-open... we wanted to sit out in the sun with an umbrella but the wind kept pulling it out of the table since it wasn't secured in with anything. We seated ourselves and the waitress didn't come give us menus for at least 7 minutes... once she came she took our drink order. I had a Caesar and my girlfriend had the margarita. My Caesar was very good... garnished and seasoned appropriately and great rimmer. My girlfriend who loves margaritas couldn't even finish hers she said it was disgusting (I don't like them so didn't try it). She eventually came back for our food order. It was taco Tuesday so we decided to get a basket of tacos ... we also got the spinach dip and calamari. The food was very average to say the least: the tacos were awful... I took two bites and didn't even finish mine. It was a huge shell with a tiny bit of chicken. It had a bit of melted cheese that they bake onto the shell before stuffing it (which sounds good in theory, however by time we got them it was already hard). The taco was filled to the brim with lettuce and had a tiny bit of tomatoes on them... nothing else.... not any sause at all. It basically tasted like a shell with lettuce. The spinach dip was alright... basically tasted like the stuff you'd get in the container at the grocery store with corn chips on the side. The last thing we ordered was the calamari which again was pretty average, and tasted like it does it most restaurants. One good thing is uoubdo get a decent amount of food on each plate. On a side note I was looking at the nachos on the menu... seeing as they were $20 I assumed they would be large and with lots of toppings. The table beside us got them and both them and us were shocked when they came out. It was a small plate of nachos with a small layer of cheese and toppings.... TWENTY DOLLARS! And cost extra to add guac! The waitress was nice and friendly but was waiting all the outside tables basically alone and took a lot time to take orders and bring the bill! I live in inglewood so I'm sure I'll be back but would not recommend this place if you're driving and looking for somewhere to go! They need to step on their game!

Place looks great with the Reno completed, love the patio. The drinks are good as well as the company. I personally find the menu a bit pricey and the food just ok. I've been here about 4 times and the food was the same every time.

Great place! Last night was very busy and the service was still good. Awesome food and live music on the patio. :)

Food was amazing. Service was a bit slow but it was a Friday night and the place was packed, so I suppose that's somewhat understandable. Bartender Mark was super nice. Live tunes sounded great.

Great food, atmosphere and drinks. An unreal place to watch any sporting event or even sit down and just have a meal.

It was a great time, good food, cold beers, fantastic staff, parking. It did help that I used to be a fireman. Great spot.

Went for the 1st time with my friend who was visiting from Red Deer. We shared potato skins and the fish and chips and we both have to say it was one of the best fish and chip meals we've ever had!! I will be back

Chicken sandwich was pretty good, but the salad was not fresh, brown, rubbery and found a fly in it. Replacement wasn't much better. Great spot, but need to step up service/freshness.

The hose is our neighbourhood pub, we come here more than I'd like to admit. Abbie is fantastic and always remembers our order! She's incredibly friendly, quick, and keen! Can't imagine the hose without her smiling face.

Great service. The Tuesday tacos were very good. Nice atmosphere. The outdoor shaded patio was very pleasant on a hot day. Nice to have a parking at the front door.

I moved to Calgary about 3 months ago, completely alone. I had a night off work and decided to pop into the Hose for a beer and some wings (as I was told 'Wing Wednesday' is a weekly tradition in cowtown!) Well, let's just say that I went in as the new guy in town but came out feeling like I had a family! Jamie behind bar made sure I was kept topped up whilst also recommending new beers to try - all with a gorgeous smile :) Then there was Nicole who, despite being rushed off her feet serving, still made the time to stop and make me feel welcome. Cheryl was an absolute delight too. A HUGE kudos to the kitchen staff who clearly put a lot of love into their work as the food is phenomenal (Arsonist Wings - undoubtedly the hottest yet tastiest wings in Calgary!) Sure, the food is a little pricy, but I've never paid for a meal there and not felt it was worth every penny. Since then, I have returned to the Hose and Hound every week in order to hang out with staff and regulars who I'd be very comfortable calling family. I'm actually moving out of Inglewood next week and knowing that the incredible staff, the delicious food and the all-round warming atmosphere of the Hose is no longer going to be at the end of my street, makes me very sad. Still, at least I know that after a half-hour trek through tough Alberta winter, there'll be a pint and a smile waiting for me when I get there. So I'm raising my glass to the Hose and Hound - my slice of home, away from home!

Thought this place was owned by Italians. Saturday afternoon and no Champions League Finals on any TV with an Italian team in the finals. Lots of NASCAR though, maybe they are Italian via Tennessee! LOL. Reno took away a lot of the character of the old pub. Great Patios though

Went here with a friend last night before the PBR. Service was awesome (our server was friendly, and checked on us often), beer cold, nachos cheesy. Very impressed with service as it appeared there were only 2 servers and 1 bartender and the place was full. I'll be back for sure, need to try the wings, I hear they're good.
