We loved the service and the food.. Ambience is very exuberant and the whole place has a very nice decor which makes you feel stress less. Highly recommend this place.
I was there with my mom yesterday, Jace was our waiter. I have always had great service when Jace has been our waiter. The food was good, it is also one of the few restaurants that I actually like going to. We did have to wait for our bill to come to the table, but I had a clear view of the bar. Jace was also ,it seemed, the only bartender during lunch. Needless to say there was a run on drink orders. When Jace came to the table with the bill, he was very apologetic about it taking so long. I totally understand why it took so long, and it wasn't his fault. Jace seems to love the work he is doing and it shows. Definitely will be going again.
Love Spaghetti , this is the place to go if you want a great meal
experience the Italie in one place .... <3
It's our GO TO restaurant when we are in Calgary. Wonderful service, servers and the atmosphere is beautiful. The food is delicious with a wide variety of pastas, chicken and delicious sauces, soups, salads. Thank you OSF ~ Cheers ~
I love the old spaghetti factory ! I have never been disappointed with there food or drinks ! Always a must go
I love the old spaghetti factory! Ive been to the one in Calgary here and Vancouver. Both amazing. Great service and fantastic food! For sure would recommend to people I know!
Love this place....always a must when we are in calgary!
Great food. And the server was really nice. And good. We will be back in future.
Great food, very reasonable prices. Super friendly staff and servers! Definitely will be returning!
Great food great service. Better location than old place.
We went to @oldspaghettifactory_calgary the other day and it's probably the best value for money in the city!
First they bring you freshly baked (warm) bread with butter. Then every entree comes with Soup/Salad + tea/coffee + icecream 🤤
And everything we ordered was between $17-23
This was our first time coming to this location and I must say that we were all impressed. I made a reservation beforehand since it was a big group of us for dinner. Service was friendly and attentive. The drinks took a while but the food came out at a decent pace. The minestrone soup was really good. They were accommodating and allowed us to bring an outside birthday cake as well. Prices were reasonable and portions were a good size. The service, atmosphere, food and drinks were wonderful and I would come again when in the area.
Founded in 1969 by Guss Dussin, The Old spaghetti factory is an italian style chain restaurant based out of Portland, Oregon.
The Old Spaghetti factory serves you the delicious dishes with fresh ingredients and at reasonable prices. They have all inclusive menu.
All Entrées are free of cost which included :
1. Sourdough Bread with Regular butter and Garlic butter. I am totally in love with sourdough bread from now on.
2. Minestrone Soup: An italian soup made out of vegetables like beans, onion, carrots, celery etc. Soup was refreshing and healthy.
3. Crisp Salad: Enjoy the crispy collection of lettuce, carrot, cabbage etc in one plate.
After the delectable entrées, we proceeded with the main course:
1. Roasted Garlic Grilled Chicken: Linguine noodles tossed with garlic butter, served with garlic and lemon marinated grilled chicken breast were scrumptious and would love to have it again during my second visit.
2. Penne with Chicken: Penne tossed in basil cream sauce with sautéed chicken pieces and mushrooms is all you need to make your meal complete.
3. Blueberry Cheesecake: Always a lover of cheesecake, this delectable blueberry cheesecake with subtle vanilla flavour was a perfect dessert to end my day with.
Also, in dessert they serve ice cream with no additional cost. We had:
Spumoni ice cream: Another italian gem, it’s a molded gelato with layers of different flavours. We had the blend of Pistachio, cherry and chocolate ice cream. I still can’t get over it😍
Rating:
1. Ambience: 4/5 (The old sphagetti has been given an antique look with wooden interiors and chandeliers)
2. Taste: 5/5 (Relishable and delectable meal)
3. Service: 5/5 (Staff is courteous and welcoming)
4. Presentation:4/5
5. Value for money:4.5/5👌🏻
We dine-in to celebrate my boy cousin's birthday. And we didn't have a reservation so we waited for 45 minutes to be seated. So, please book ahead of time specially if you are coming as a group on a Friday night. We ordered different dishes and I only have photos of what I ate. It was good for its price. Less than CAD20 for a complete meal, why not. I loved the bread and the pasta. and so as the peach Sangria for my drink. I love their cheesecake too, but for me the slice is too big. Its best with coffee so better order the complimentary coffee if you're having some cheesecake.
For an all inclusive (no booze) dinner this is a nice place to go, salad, soup, bread, ice cream and your meal. It’s a nice spot. The staff are very friendly and the food is priced reasonably. A nice place for a family night out.
First time at this location, but not the first time at an Old Spaghetti Factory. Newly opened on the same lot as the Marlborough Mall, this location was a treat. Went in to the restaurant and was seated right away. Service was fast and attentive. Food was superb. The prices are very reasonable considering how most of their menu is “all-inclusive” pricing, meaning the mains include a free cup of coffee or tea, a free bowl of minestrone soup or garden salad and free ice cream to finish. Also comes with free bread loaves. Everyone loved the food and we will definitely come again!
The service and staff are friendly. The restaurant serves various pasta dishes. The portions of the food are alright. The prices of food are very cheap and delicious. The restaurant has a loud atmosphere, but is friendly family. The restaurant looks alright inside and is very spacious.
Decent place, decent food. Quite busy actually so it's a good location. The staff very friendly and speed was okay. We went during dinner so it's normal for the slow pace. Food was nice and hot
We came here on a Friday. The place was pretty busy, got seated and fed our apps pretty quickly. Now the waiter got our orders wrong (brought out ribs when we ordered steak) and completely forgot our yam fries. He was very apologetic about which made it so much better we didn't even mind eating the ribs! But the manager also came by and said he would give the order for free. He was also very apologetic. Accidents happen and they are fairly new, very happy with how we were treated. Now the food! I had the seafood fettuccine, sooo good the pasta tasted very fresh and I loved the sauce! My family got lasagna, ribs and fries, pesto chicken. They all really enjoyed their meal and the portion sizes are huge, prices were great too. Definitely will come again.
I really like the atmosphere here. The people are extremely friendly and welcoming. We were seated on the west side, just ahead of the bar. It was a peaceful Monday night and we were heading in for some hot pasta on a cold day. I ordered the chicken parmigiana, and had soup as a side. I must admit, the bread was sourdough and took me by surprise. The soup was more watery and contained fresh vegetables. You have a choice from either soup or salad. The food came within 15 minutes and was nice and hot. The pasta was my favorite - it felt light and saucy. I love the marinara sauce!! I would easily come here for the sauce. The chicken was a different story, it tastes kind of dry and looked like a big chicken nugget. It didn't really have any texture to it, but it was okay anyways. The cheese was fresh and stringy. I would come here for just the pasta and marinara sauce. A good place with a good value and good food. Minus the chicken patty.
Deeeeeeelicous!!!! We came here last night at 630. Waited 5 minutes for a table. Restaurant is beautiful. It has really nice decor and comfortable seating and lots of room for strollers and wheelchair access as well. Our server was Tram I believe. She was sweet and efficent.
My friend and I ordered 2 entrée's, which come with a baguette loaf, starter salad or soup and finished with a small bowl of ice cream all for around $15 to $22 a dish.
I had the Manicotti and WOW was it delicous!!! Lots of cheese. Fresh filling. Tomato Marinara. It was really good.
My friend ordered spaghetti and meatballs with the meat sauce and he was really happy with it. For a brand new restaurant I feel like they did a really good job last night and the management came around and checked on people's tables and made sure they were all happy with their food.
Highly suggest this place and I will definitely be back. Looks like Olive Garden is going to have some tough competition.
