Great experience. We made reservations online and were asked if we wanted a table or a booth. We opted for a table near the fireplace.
Waitress came and took our drink orders. We started with shrimp cocktail and escargot. Kids had the kids plate. My son even wanted extra orange slices and the waitress brought even more. Really appreciate the service. For mains my wife and I shared the prime rib classic and the kids had the sliders. All the food was excellent.
It was also our anniversary and the manager came and comped us a dessert.
Service was fast and friendly and they went above and beyond. Food was excellent. My family really enjoyed themselves.
Always been a good experience every time I have come to this location. Service and food is great and the location is central for stampeder’s games and family get togethers. Lots of parking is available at this location too
The Keg is always a good choice for a date night with my wife - usually go to the Crowfoot location but decided to try the U of C locale ... a litre dated, but the lighting is much better here. I went with a favourite - burger and beer. Some may say 'How can you go wrong?' - but trust me, some burgers are not alike. I was really impressed - it hit the spot! Very tasty and was not too filling. Need a date night that never disappoints - go to the Keg. Great food, servers are always friendly, and the atmosphere makes for great conversation.
5.0! Yep, The Keg is 5 stars for me any time, they are very attentive to allergies, the food always rocks and the restaurant is always clean with a nice ambiance. I can't eat here as much as I like because it is definitely not on the "cheap eats" list but that makes it all the better when we do spring for the higher prices. My other Celiac and GF friends have this chain on their safe lists too!
The service here is amazing! I went with a table of 7, my drink was maybe 2 minutes late, and the were so apologetic. They comped my drink! Friendly, well paced, food was what you expect. But service that others could learn from!

We arrived on a Friday night around...6pm. There were 10 of us. We were quoted 20-30 minutes.
After 45minutes...we started getting antsy and the littlest of us (being the kids) began getting hungry and restless.
The manager actually approached us to appologize for the long wait. We requested that some "kid friendly" appitizers be started so they'd be ready when we finally sat down.
When we did sit down...we were treated to plates of veggies and bread for every kid, and 4 hot appatizers for the adults...all complimentary for our troubles.
Classy way to handle the situation.
Servers were increadible. Quick and very personable.
Food was all great and a good time was had by all.
I am always very appreciative of any hospitality industry offering which acknowledges their mistakes and goes above and beyond to ensure you still leave satisfied.

This is quite possibly the best keg location, now I am not usually a fan of chains or the keg but the meal and service were fantastic ! We had a wonderful Waiter who was super efficient - very friendly. Everyone's meals came out right and no complaints. (They replaced the prime rib pieces as it was obvious one looked much better then the other). The paralyser was great too. Overall great meal !
Excellent food and service. A group of friends and I were at the Keg this past weekend. Although the place was packed, our server was fantastic. She was attentive and helpful. I regret not getting her name. The food was excellent also. Can't go wrong going here.
We went for dinner at the Keg tonight. I ordered the blue cheese steak medium rare. It came out well done and when I mentioned this to the waitress she was very apologetic and had a new one cooked to the right doneness. Someone else (possibly the manager) brought out the new dish and was also quite apologetic. Overall food was great and service was even better. We will be back.
No complaint here!. Service was just right & friendly, food temperature and flavor just right. I hadn't visited The Keg for quite awhile, and not for any specific reason. It is good to be back! Thank you Stadium Keg for a nice evening!
Excellent dinner. Great service. We have been to many Kegs and this one was great. Dont hesitate to go. Reviews made us somewhat concerned but it was excellent.
Excellent. We made a reservation at the Keg for Friday night. We arrived on time and were seated promptly at a nice table near the fire pit. Our server was exceptional, very professional yet friendly and personable. My boyfriend ordered the pecan sirloin and I ordered the filet mignon, done oscar style. Both meals were outstanding, cooked perfectly and very flavorful. We had a really great time and will absolutely return!
This Keg location goes above and beyond! The food is great but the service is impeccable. My three year old son made an odd request to one of the hostesses that he really only wanted to order a banana. She told us that they unfortunately didn't have bananas; but then 10 minutes later she returned with one!! The hostess ran across the parking lot to Macs and actually bought our son a banana. This was the sweetest things ever and totally made our night!! The manager, waiter and hostess were amazing! Excellent experience.
I'm stuffed!. When out steaks came out , mine was cooked medium-well. I had ordered medium rare. I wasn't' going to bring it up as it tasted excellent , as did the rest of the meal. The waiter came by and asked how the meal was. We all said "excellent" Then he asked if the steaks were done as we ordered. I showed him my steak and he immediately said he'd get me a new one but that I could keep the old one. I felt a bit guilty, but it wasn't cooked right and he did ask me. After what seemed a few minutes, the manager of the restaurant came up to the table with a whole new meal for me. I was blown away. My son ate the rest of the original steak and I ate the second meal.

I'm not a big meat eater so there wasn't a lot of options for me. I would say it was just okay. Wouldn't be my top pick by far.
Had a great dinner at this Keg tonight. Waitress was very helpful in letting us substitute as we typically over-order at the keg.
Had the baseball cut which was cooked perfectly and the wedge of lettuce.
Had dinner in the lounge to watch the game. originally called for a reservation as they said no sound in the lounge but they had all the screens on the game with sound. Nice touch with the fireplace.

Never Disappointed. From the appetizers to the entrees to the desserts... our meal was top-drawer. The manager came by and chatted us up, and when he found out it was our anniversary, he offered to buy us dessert. Nice touch!
The food was amazing! The wait time was very long! We were told half hour but it was an hour and 10 minutes! The manager came to our table and acknowledged our wait time and bought us any appies we wanted. That was very nice and when the appies and food came out the food was delicious and came out hot! I would definetly go back!
Great evening. We were a party of six celebrating a birthday. Our server was very attentive and explained the special menu in detail. We had a reservation but they seated us 20 minutes late, 2 minutes after being seated they brought two complimentary appetizers to the table to make amends and apologized profusely. Our steaks were all cooked perfectly and everyone loved their meals.
Very good, and the service was great. Food was delicious! It's nice to know there is a restaurant out there that is reasonably priced yet has great food!
Good for a change. Tunit has it about right. It's a Keg, it's a chain restaurant, and for a chain steakhouse it's pretty good. My wife and I went here some time ago, the service was good and our food was tasty. It's not as good as many smaller places, but it's less risky... it's consistent, predictable, and nice.
Great Service, Great Food. I've been going to this location for years now and it never disappoints! Consistently tasty food and speedy, attentive service. Be prepared for a bit of a wait on the weekends, but you can always start off with drinks in the bar downstairs. I would definitely recommend this location.
Good comfort food.. Sadly, we became acquainted with this Keg while my Mother was passing away at the Foothills Hospital across the street. It was a nice respite from our worries. We spent a few evenings here, after hospital hours, enjoying the small blessings of good beer and comfort food.
A - List. Recommended. Still going strong after all these years. Great food and service. This one is a winner.

Lives up to the name. I've been past this location many times in the 20 years I've lived in Calgary, but a couple Sunday nights ago was the first time I actually went inside.
The wait was in excessive of an hour (it was Sunday night), and despite the groanings of my folks whom I went with, the reward was well worth the wait.
French onion soup and ahi tuna for appetizers; the broth was rich, and the cheese thick. It was perhaps the most divine bowl of French onion soup I have had. The tuna came with small breads that looks similar to melba toasts, with a mushroom blend, which was very salty but went well with the tuna.
Peppercorn New York for mains; the steak done just to the happy med rare-medium doneness that I have grown so accustomed to. Good amount of spice with a not-too-rich peppercorn and mushroom sauce. The vegetables did not taste like they came from a can, but they were passable.
It was quite a fair bit of food for 3 people, and we skipped dessert -- bill came to $170 (with drinks, not including tip), and with the service we received (attentive and helpful) -- almost top marks. It truly lives up to the name...
Sitting down waiting for my To-Go order, I have learned lots in here.
Atmosphere is great. Full of front lines employees of 15 bodies + Kitchen staff and 1 or 2 managers.
Food is not really fast in 15-20 minutes fresh cooking even the burgers. But they have done very well. Taste is excellent.

I find this is the best keg in Calgary. Always amazing service and well cooked food. Solid ambience with the friendliest staff throughout the restaurant.

When you need a reliably good steak in Calgary, the Keg (especially the Stadium one) delivers. The grade of beef may not be as high as Hy’s or Vintage, but they always cook it perfectly.
I had the baseball cut top sirloin chicago rare with a baked potato for the main.
Will, our server, was also excellent. Very attentive and checked in frequently.

Im not a very big person but I find the booths tight to sit in, if you don't mind that it's great atmosphere and staff and reasonably priced.
Have always had both excellent food and desserts at all Keg locations supported by excellent service.

Ice sculptures quite cool lots of people and situated in the mountains. Close to Banff with down hill and cross country skiing.always love going through this area , lots too see and do.
I always come sit in the lounge here. It's casual, the servers are wonderful. Food is always fantastic. Easy steak dinner.
