Kinjo is my go to place to eat! I absolutely love the food (the magic steak is to die for) and it fills me up for a very reasonably price! The staff are great and it's very rare that anything goes wrong with my order. I wish I knew his name, but there is a gentleman that hands out pocky that wears a purple kimono and he makes our experience even better every time we visit! He always stops by to chat and make sure our food is okay; he makes us feel at home. We went in one day when he wasn't working and we sure missed him! Definitely recommend Kinjo as an excellent place to eat!

Last Saturday, my boyfriend took me to CF Chinook Centre Mall to go shopping. Before that, we had sushi at Kinjo Sushi & Grill restaurant for the lunch.The restaurant is located 5 mins away from the CF Chinook Centre Mall. It was our first time having Sushi in the city of Calgary and also 1st time came to this restaurant. It’s a middle size of the restaurant. We arrived the restaurant right after it opened. The restaurant is very clean and tidy. Servers and Cooks were very nice and friendly. The restaurant is divided by two different parts, Dining Table and Sushi Boat Bar. People can either order the dishes or take sushi from the sushi bar. We decided to sit at the sushi bar. The cooks made different sushi rolls in front of us and then put them on the Boat. The Sushi Boats run circles in front of the us. We could pick the different sushi rolls from different Boats.
The sushi rolls came fast. They were fresh, tasty, and delicious. We paid by different colors of plate. The red plate is $3.60 each. The yellow is $4.10 each. The green one is $5.50. The food here was all in the small portions, but there were so many selections. It’s great. We love this place so much. Highly recommend people to try KINJO Sushi & Grill. I am sure that we will come back here again in so soon. Great food and Great customers service. !
This place is awesome, people are fantastic. Our server Manami ( I think she’s from Japan ) very accommodating,,, food is authentic Japanese taste,,,, can’t wait to come back again soon �����
We LOVE Kinjo! We used to live in Calgary and would go about once a week for sushi. We moved to Ontario about 4 years ago and we are finally heading back in a week and a half for a visit. Kinjo is on the top of my list to eat at while we are there. I cannot wait

We had very little time for lunch between 2 sport events for our daughter, but our half hour stop was perfect. Multinational staff, but the vibe there feels like so many awesome places in Seoul. High energy.
If you report in your review that the manager asked you not to come back, it reflects worse on you in my opinion. Some customers aren't worth the extra care and attention they expect. Especially when there is a line up of people out the door waiting for your seat.
Great service and love the treat at the end. One of two sushi places that give samples at the beginning of your decision process.
The service we received was hands down the best I've experienced anywhere! We had family in town from Scotland. When they found out they pulled out all the stops. Food was insanely good. Thank you to everyone and especially chef Brian! We will be back!

I stopped in for a real quick lunch with my wife. The waiter brought us a little sample dish right after we were seated.
It was a really nice touch and started things off well.
We order a variety of items all delicious.
The waiter was super friendly and brought me about 4 portions of extra ginger which was nice.
After our meal the waiter offered my wife some pocky which she did not share. Oh well.
Awesome sushi, I'd go back for sure. Hopefully they give me some pocky next time or my wife better share!
Had a wonderful dinner here tonight. The atmosphere is great, the little boats that you can pick your plates off are a fantastic touch.
Our server Taylor was amazing as well, super attentive, and made sure everything was exactly as ordered.

Absolutely amazing. I love everything about this place. Don't be fooled by the interior decor. The food is outstanding. If they make the place look nicer, I would rate them 10 stars. The sashimi was really good. I love the dynamite roll, chicken udon and chicken yakatari. Definitely recommend this place. The service is also 10/10
First time at kinjo, with a large group of friends. Quite amazed by the $5.5 bowl of ramen.... Quite delicious 🍜. The sushi was really affordable too and pretty tasty. I was kinda diggin' the set up too.. With whacky artwork on the walls and giant food posters hanging from the ceilings... It was quite the experience.

Ohh my goodness, the experience was amazing. Staff at the front door greeted me with so much energy and welcome! Love it. Food was phenomenal, did I say deep fried avocado? You hear me right! That is the one I die for 😋😋😋.
The general manager Daniel is such nice gentleman, take care of my entire visit, quality check and nice conversations. And staff member is so on top of service, refill drinks frequently.

Amazing sushi, great service and everyone there was kind, didn’t wait long at all, got a free sample of sushi (unsure what the 4 were but I had 2 and they were good) I will definitely make this a regular place i visit!
