Wonderful experience here! The food is so fresh and delicious. The beet pastrami sandwich is out of this world! So much flavor. The tomato salad was also overwhelming in a good way. I had basic expectations for this but it was much more. Their sour dough bread is perfect.
Service was very attentive and the servers were knowledgeable and made good recommendations.
It was delicious! I ordered a breakfast sandwich, I wasn't expecting much, boy was I mistaken! It was the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. The biscuit was layer with cheese and herbs, it was so light and delicious. The salad on the side had a lovely dressing. It was superb. No line up to get in either, we arrived right at 11 am when brunch starts and were able to get a table. Always nice when you don't have to wait :)
We stopped in for a quick late afternoon veggie lunch.
The place has a clean, open, all glass look to it. The music is inviting and the vibe is chill. Great for people watching too. On to the food!!! We went for a happy hour deep fried cauliflower slider, brussels sprouts and carrot cake. I’m savory and my wife is sweet (she may be reading this). The sprouts were massive and nicely seasoned, crisp and well presented, my slider was crunchy, but of heat and the bun was soft with a bit of toasty goodness. The carrot cake was a clear winner with layers and a picture perfect presentation. A great spot that is central, has great service and a ton of vegetarian options. Give it a shot and leave happy!
We frequent the Happy Hour here, which is fantastic [Daily 3-6]. We love the service and interior decor. The staff all seem really happy to be there. Also, you MUST try the desserts, they are always 10/10.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The flavors were creative, the presentation was beautiful (too excited to eat for photos) and the atmosphere was light and sophisticated. Perfect for a group of 4-6 people to go to so you can order lots of dishes and really explore the menu. Personal group favorites were the perigeos, and the mini fried chicken sandwich.
We went for an early Valentine's Day celebration and had a lovely time at Donna Mac. We ordered cocktails, wine, the croquettes, fried cauliflower, beet pastrami, the bavette steak and the six-layer schnitzel. This was definitely a bit too much food for the two of us!
The croquettes were the best with a creamy center and smoky aioli. I liked the fried cauliflower next best with the cheesy, dill pickle, whipped pimento. The beets were good too as they were, but would have probably been tastier if we'd ordered the bread you can get with it. The main dishes were pretty good, but I wasn't a fan of the squash my steak was served on. I also wish the plantains were larger (they looked like cornflakes sprinkled on top, hard to taste). The queso was sprinkled on the plate like an afterthought and the chimichurri was more like a red pepper relish. My boyfriend said he enjoyed the schnitzel and loved the mustard inside, but would have liked the meat layers to be a little thinner for more consistent cooking.
The customer service was exceptional and the atmosphere was comfortable. We would come back for sure.
Unbelievable fried chicken sandwich for happy hour! The donna mac burger was also great. I would definitely come here again to try more items on the menu.
