I am a huge fan of this moxies location. The service is always consistent, friendly and helpful. The food is always amazing I have never had a less than great meal at this specific location. My boyfriend and I went there for valentines dinner last night and the food was on point. The place was packed and still under all the pressure the staff really outdid themselves from the hostess, to the server, to the manager who came to make sure everything was tasting good. I will always recommend this location as it is always amazing!
Went for lunch and had such an amazing experience! We had a food allergy and the server Brandy and managers were awesome about it, the food was all delicious, the service was amazing... Brandy gave us such excellent service! 10/10 would recommend to others, especially for allergies!

We went here for my wife's 42 birthday. It was a busy night and there were 3 full parties booked ahead of us. However, Cheyenne (our server) made it seem like that we were there only ones in the restaurant. We know that the orders would take longer to process because of the sheer number of people being served, but the wait wasn't that long at all. She had given us great feedback regarding what meals to order. Cheyenne's suggestions were spot on. Our drinks were always full and she always had a smile on her face even though it was really busy. We always have great experiences at any Moxies we go to. It's the service that separates you guys from the rest. Thank you so much for making my wife's birthday a great one. Big thanks to Cheyenne (Chey) for not just being a server, but being a great person. You will do well in your future endeavours.
We dined at this location last night after our first two choices did not pan out and I am glad we did. Our party of 10, including 3 young children, were well taken care of. The server and the wait staff were amazing, there were a few mistakes with some of the orders but the mistakes were fixed right away. Also, we were given samples of the yummy dry ribs to try.
If we lived in Calgary we would for sure be back, but sadly we had to head back home.
Had brunch last Sunday at Moxies and was floored. Wanted to enjoy a cocktail and was pleasantly surprised when my server told me Ceasers and Mimosas were on special. Food was great, service was friendly and the vibe was cool. Exactly what I was looking for, will be back for more!!
The food is delicious & I always take a doggie bag home as the potion sizes are big. The service is friendly & exceptional. We always go there to celebrate milestones & have never been let down. The manager is very hands on. The ceasers are the bomb.

Yes, it’s a chain, but a good one. Always good food; my fav is the steak and goat cheese salad. But everything is consistently good. Great service. Tonight we did takeout and they forgot my steak on the salad. Was going to forget it but I called. They had realized and run out to the parking lot to find my husband but he’d left. When I called they said they’d give me another salad and to apologize, a free dessert. I wasn’t expecting that- very good customer service! The dessert was huge too!
My personal favourite is the bruschetta as an appy, followed by the Herb Chicken Alfredo Pasta and dessert would always be White hot Chocolate Brownie and ice cream.
Had a great time with friends at Moxie's off Barlow. I give it 5 star for a number of reasons. Their staff is very hospitable and you can tell they love their jobs.

Great atmosphere, great food and the staff is always so attentive and warm. The food is really what stands out to me here, always hot and made to order. The cocktails are fantastic as well. Can not wait for my next visit.

Always have a great time in the lounge at this Moxie's! The bartenders and lounge girls make my friends an I feel welcome and at home. Pretty good beer selection and a lot of interesting cocktails to try out. Last visit was awesome! I had a bunch of their happy hour specials like tacos and smashed guacamole. The prices were really reasonable and it tasted great. I will definitely continue going here with my friends.
Always have a great time @ Moxies. Staff is friendly and funny. I dine there often, feels like a second home to me. Love going there, foods really good.

We had a great lunch experience here! The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. All of the ingredients used are fresh which is a refreshing change for a chain restaurant. We had the nachos which were perfectly loaded. The highlight for me was definitely the fresh, made from scratch salsa, with freshly sliced jalapeños on the side-NOT pickled! This is what sets these nachos aside from your greasy, often stale, jarred ingredient, typical pub style. All of their menu is very reasonably priced and they do offer a kids menu. 👍🏼 I can't wait to come back and try a dinner!
Food was amazing but it's been about 45 minutes that our waitress has been ignoring us. It's awkward because we want to go and she won't walk over to the table......

I visited Moxie's on a Friday night and it just so happen to be the night of there patio party. They had a Free build your own sangria bar and I had no idea what to get. The bartender Trevor made a nice white wine sangria with delicious fruit, it was to die for. The staff were friendly and helpful, the appetizers were delicious & the sangria was amazing.
After reading reviews we were going to walk by Moxies but I am glad we didn't. Service was both fast and courteous. Our meals and drinks were both top of the scale so a big thumbs up to the chefs at the restaurant. Thank you to both Shaelyn and Erika for such awesome, friendly service. Once again you can not always trust the first reviews you read.

I came in around 8pm with a group of 20 or so and from beginning to end I was impressed with the level of service we got and how fast and proper our orders came in. The madascar steak was cooked how I wanted and was so good. I also had some of my boyfriends ribs and it was dry, could use some more sauce, but good all the same.
Was here this past weekend for a large birthday party. Ordered the fish tacos which were decent but even Joeys and Earls have tastier ones than these. Service was slow, but they accommodated nicely to people who had certain food allergies. The food is alright, but the restaurant itself is really well done- décor, ambiance, the crowd….oh and the bathrooms are nice and clean.
Went here with my Girlfriend and her friend for my Girlfriends birthday. The service staffs attentiveness was second to none! We were seated within a minute of walking in the door, and our server was with us within a minute of sitting down.
One of our party has a severe allergy which we notified them of. Our server immediately went to the kitchen and made sure that the staff knew about the allergy, and we even had the on-shift manager approach us to let us know personally that all the kitchen staff working our order knew about the allergy and they were ensuring that there was no chance of contamination. I have never experienced service this dedicated, especially when it came to how they handled the allergy.
Once I find out our servers name I will be writing the store a personal email with commendation about the service we received.
Here on a busy Saturday night . Sat in the lounge with my wife and a friend. It was busy!! Not sure what everyone's negatives reviews are for.

I like it.. Chain restaurants have to work harder to impress me. This place does ok. Decent service and food. I also like that I can bring a client for a lunch meeting and hear him across the table.

Definitely a top candian restaurant. I had a simply amazing experience all round: great wine list, phenomenal steak that they personalized for me, perfect sides, astonishing desserts.
The price is, alas, high (and the waitress beauty made me tip 20%), but the meal was completely worth it.
Hit or Miss. Generally this place is a hit or miss (all of them seem to be). I like the food most of the time, but sometimes either the dessert or the service throws it off for me. But when it's good, it's great for sure!
Good place to eat but service is off at times. I go here quite often and the Mbar upstairs is great. Only issue I had one day was seeing their GM yell at a poor server. He definitely seems like he shouldn't be working in the hospitality business! Other then that the staff is wonderful and lots if great food options!!

Went here with 3 teenaged daughters and 4 year old daughter and my wife. Portions are OK, 4yo happy with crayons and the colouring materials she was given. The NY steak I ordered was well done instead of medium well. Great drinks though.
I was here with a group of girls from work on a Friday night and found the place to be fairly busy. The service was decent although the server could have kept up with refilling our water. We ordered some appetizers to share and found that they were fairly good. Although I thought the avocado spring rolls to be overpriced for what it was. Our mains came very quickly and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. I had the loaded burger and found the burger to be good but the fries to be sub par. They were too soggy for my liking. Overall, I'd say it's a decent place to go for a quick meal with friends. The atmosphere was pretty good and we never felt rushed in any way even though we sat chatting for a while after our meal.
I'm a former kitchen manager..... And I still love Moxie's. I had worked for the company years ago and I still love coming back for meals here. Although the menu has changed quite a bit, the quality level is still the same. All the food is always good, fresh and executed well. The service is usually good to excellent. Last night we went again with a group of 7 of us. We started with the Med bread as usual and it always satisfying. This time I had the veal with stuff boccini cheese. It was nice and light although I did not want to finish it all in one sitting. Some of my other favorites on the menu is the honey garlic steak, sirloin salad with goat cheese and the beef vindaloo.
I have always highly recommend Moxie's during my days there and I still do.
Not bad, not great. Service was good and the interior decor was nice. Shanghai noodles had a nice spice level and the taste of fresh ginger, but overall too salty. Nice for a business lunch. but nothing special.
Overall moxies is one of my favorite restaurants. I like the food, service is quick and friendly and menu is reasonably priced and not intimidating and the white chocolate brownie is UNREAL. My girlfriend and I enjoy this place a lot.
So friendly... There service is good..they always go above and beyond......no matter what I have tried there...everything is good or they ensure they make it just right !! I will keep returning

An average wait for a table during a dinner rush is about 30 minutes anywhere I guess. We didn't mind the wait cause I had a good experince the last time I was here. Once we were seated, our waitress was abit busy but kindly told us that she would be right with us. Once she got our order, the drinks and food came pretty quickly considering it was the dinner rush. Sotosum it up, the atmosphere was noisy but cozy and romantic. The food was pretty good, and the service was pretty quick.

Consistently good. After reading several negative reviews of the Moxies next to the Sandman Hotel at the Calgary airport location, I was a bit weary to try their food.
Maybe it was a fluke but they were consistently good every time I dined there during my stay.
The wait staff were personable and quite knowledgeable. Since I have food allergies - soy and MSG - they went above and beyond to make sure I didn't order anything that could cause an allergic reaction. Unlike some restaurants, they didn't seem put out by the extra legwork - no sighing or fretting. Management spoke to me nearly each time to let me know the meal would be safe.
Breakfast was phenomenal. Pancakes are usually hit and miss when I order them but they were fantastic on each occasion. The fresh fruit and whipped cream was an added bonus. The portion size was a bit big - two pancakes would have sufficed. I never once made it to the third pancake. Perhaps they could offer a smaller size option.
Lunch was great but I wish some of their lunch menu items would extend past 4 p.m., especially the fish and chips. Not everyone wants to eat a huge supper.
Although I didn't enjoy supper as much as the other two meals of the day, my husband couldn't wait for supper time to roll around. He loved their steak, which was cooked pretty much to order although it was a little pink for him - and ordered the chicken and half rack of ribs twice.
The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and engaging.
The only thing that dampened the enjoyment of the venue was the screaming and crying children. However, that can't be blamed on Moxies. It's a lack of parental control. It is, however, annoying when you are trying to enjoy a meal with your loved one and a screaming kid runs up and down the aisle or - worse - leans over the booth and stares at you. I know there is a lounge area but it's not the same as a sit down meal in a dining room atmosphere. Not sure how that problem could be addressed.
Overall, it was a great location with excellent meals.
Hmmm...hit and miss. Out of convenience, my girlfriends and I met at Moxie's today for dinner. I had the asparagus, tomato, onion, mushroom, goat cheese pizza. The crust was thin and crispy and the mixture on top tasted fine. I think Moxie's could provide a slightly larger piece of asparagus on each slice of pizza, as I could barely locate the lovely green vegetable. I didn't even know that one could purchase asparagus that thin and small. My friends ordered the fish tacos, which they confirmed was delicious. The service was good. The last time I ate at this location, I had the halibut on top of mashed potatoes surrounded by a leek and white wine sauce - really tasty.
