Came here for dinner after seeing their ad on Facebook. Got the beef gyro and husband got the chicken. They were both seasoned well and the meat was tender. Fries were a little dry so would recommend getting extra tzatziki to help. Place is cute and clean. Not my favorite donair/gyro place but is pretty good.

To me drowning in Feta Cheese and I have instruction for EASY / LIGHT ON THE FETA! I’m not a huge fan of it. I tossed most of the food but the stuff I tasted seemed good. I had a platter and a side salad. PS- Greek fries means they have lots of feta on them not just Greek seasoning like other places however when you order in the Skip app it

We ate at the new location on 8th Street but there isn’t an option to write it for that specific location yet. The food was delicious and a decent price as well. Don’t go to Opa! This place is miles ahead for fast Greek food. I like the calamari better at the Airdrie location (its a sit down restaurant there) but this stuff was still very tasty. Absolutely delicious tzatziki sauce and feta cheese!!! I love how they sprinkle feta on the fries. The 8th Street location shares a building with a little diner and Noodle Box. It is nice and modern. Very busy, no surprise, but the food was prepared quickly. Love it!

I have a large appetite so I always order two, they are deceivingly large though, get through one and wonder why I ordered a second. Always struggle through though cause it’s so good!
Only criticism, I wish the were on the really fluffy pitas like at Opa!... hence 4.5 vs 5...
The meats, fillings, tzatziki etc. here are way better, but with that super pillowy fluffy Opa! pita it would be true heaven...
This place is tasty! Paros Souvla is in the NW – Royal Oak. It’s pretty easy to access off Stoney Trail, but if you don’t live up in the NW it would be a bit of a trek. L came in from out of town for a visit, so the supper club went out for dinner again. L picked this restaurant because it had really good reviews, although it’s more of a take-out/fast-food kind of place. There were a number of tables – enough that we easily found a table for the three of us to sit down to eat and visit for a while.

Food here is always great!
Staff is friendly and attentive in a fast pace environment.
The meats are always very well seasoned and cooked to perfection juicy and tender.
Baked parmesan zucchini bites are a must have! With a delicious dip.
Roasted fresh veggies are caramelized and still have bite to them.
Seasons rice is flavourful enough to be eaten all by itself without any meat or veggies.
Crisp fluffy pita bread is great for dipping in the tangy flavourful hummus or tzatziki.
I have been eating at Paros Souvla since it opened about three years ago, and it is hands down the best Greek I have ever had. The calamari is incredible, lightly battered and very crispy, it tastes even better when dipped in tzatziki, which I always ask extra for because it's that good. I always get either the chicken wrap (which they fill with French fries and is seriously delicious) or the chicken souvla plate with roasted vegetables and lemon roast potatoes. Their meat is always fresh and juicy and seasoned perfectly. The guys who own this place are really nice and I do believe it's family operated. customer service is top notch. I have recommended this place to so many friends and family and they are now all regulars.
A great little greek restaurant with very generous portions! Everything I've tried here has been very good (I usually get one of the souvla plates). The meat is always very tender and flavourful, and the potatoes and vegetables are always done really nicely. Good prices and really friendly service. Would definitely recommend!

The village salad is awesome, the pita that comes with the full is very light and nicely grilled. The fried zucchini is crispy without being oily. Cannot get enough of the tzatziki they make. Garlicky and creamy.
Best. Calamari. Around. Hands down. The original Paros is in Airdrie, which is a full service restaurant with a much larger menu. This location in royal oak is more a 'fast food' feel, however the food is still awesome. It doesn't matter if you're getting something else to eat, if you're there, you need to get the calamari. Everything about Paros is delicious.
Service was quick and cheerful. The food, holy shit, so good!!! Similar concept to Opa, but way better quality and more Greek items to choose from. Hope they expand, because they would kick Opa's butt.
Good Greek food, similar to Opa but a bit pricier for a higher quality. Cute space inside, but on the smaller side and not a ton of space. Would recommend trying if you love Greek food and want something better than Opa and don't mind paying a bit more.
I love this place. I've been here dozens of times and it has always been consistent. I also introduced Paros to some of my friends and family and they all love it as well. I always get the chicken souvla plate with the potatoes-- it's delicious! Try it if it's your first time eating here. The food has so much flavour, they give good portions, and the staff is really friendly.
Greek food and I have a very variable relationship but after reading all the great reviews for the souvlaki here and being in the area, I had to try this out!
Parking/decor: the parking lot is super busy and tight for space. The restaurant was nicely decorated - very sleek and modern. There are bar height tables and booths to sit at.
Service: they have a large board with the names of dishes but no descriptions, and smaller paper menus (with descriptions). The staff were pleasant and I liked that we had our food delivered to our table after ordering at the till since it took about 10 minutes.
Food: the beef kofta was fantastic - well seasoned and still very moist. I liked the texture of the fried zucchini but thought they could have used more salt or mizithra. The only disappoint was the hummus which was strangely watery and very bland.
Overall: nice for a quick bite if you're in the area.
This was amazing. Very good calimar, the beefteki gyro was probably the best gyro i have ever had. Great prices for top knotch food. Drove from the deep south to try it out and was not dospointed.

Best calamari in Calgary. All food delicious and reasonably priced, best bang for your buck. Great hospitality and staff. You just can't go wrong eating here. No food comes out of a box. All food made from scratch daily.
There are great deals at this small Greek restaurant in Royal Oak. I'm a big fan of the wraps for under $10, loaded with delicious seasoned meat off the spit, they're loaded with fries making them a great deal for a heavy meal. If you like fries, you'll love the wrap, but sometimes I find it's a bit much with the carbs. But I do appreciate the extra filling. On top of that you can't go wrong with the calamari. A half order is $6.50 and it's more than enough food for one person. It's also pretty decent with the chewy squid in a flaky batter.
It's a small restaurant with a basic fast food counter. The staff are really nice and talkative while you wait for meal. For a quick Greek meal, Paros is definitely one of my favourites. It would be great if they're successful and they expand further into Calgary. People outside of Royal Oak are missing out.
Love this place! Love the food! Always excited to see the friendly staff. Food is alwayd great, nice portions, beautifully put together with great flavours. Staff is really kind and charismatic. I always look forward to going to lunch here when I wanna treat myself. A+ would recommend to anyone who loves Greek food.
Paros was a great find. The food has the feel of something you would find on 4th St but it's all the way in the suburbs! Awesome food, good prices and super convenient.
Omg the tzatziki is to die for. I love this place so much. I have had the chicken wrap every time I've been here and it's been excellent every time. I've recommended this place to several friends and family and we all agree it's awesome.
Great staff and delicious food. Fresh ingredients, great proteins, good portion sizes. Small shop, but if you have a hankering for delicious Greek food, I highly recommend.
A half order of calamari comes with about a dozen ringlets. The batter was light and melted on your tongue. The squid itself was tender and toothsome. It was so good, L and I ordered another plate.

The place is more like fast food and quick dining but the food is so flavourful.
I had the braised lamb, Greek salad combo and my husband had the chicken and fries. We both agreed that it was delicious and couldn't stop eating off each other's plate. (my husband normally doesn't even like lamb)
I love the simple and modern decor. The guy at the cashier was cool and helpful. The prices were higher for a fast food type place but it wouldn't stop me from going again and again here to eat.
One thing that was slightly disappointing was that we went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and they didn't have lemon potatoes or chicken or lamb souvlaki so we had to get the braised version which was my second choice.
If they had all options available I could see this being my favourite quick eats place to go to in the Northwest.
Garlicky & lemony goodness had it a couple of hours ago & still can taste it. I went there for lunch today wasn't expecting it to be so good but I am glade I tried it. Had the chicken souvlaki plate with greek fries. Souvlaki was great fries where not my thing but tasted alright, prefer smaller cut fries. The tzatziki sauce was amazing & the pita bread was very good as well. This is a great fast food greek place. Wish it was closer too me.

Apparently we were one of the last few to find out about Parlos Souvla. This place is a gem in the Royal Oak/Citadel region. The calamari is a must - tender, not chewy, well battered, generous. The fried zuchini is more like 'chips' versus 'fries', with a bit of mizithra (adds a saltyness to it like parmesan). The meat is also good - your Wrap will literally come with fries inside of it, apparently a Greek custom! When we had our mains, the lamb was spot on while the pork was a bit overcooked.
Apparently Paros Souvla is related to the Airdrie restaurant 'Paros'. If you can eat in, try to listen to your name when the order comes, a bit hard to hear amongst the hustle and bustle.

Spectacular. Ordered food for pick up. They were a little behind, but we're friendly during the wait.
The food was amazing! We had the calamari starter and it was crispy and flavourful. We also got two soulva plates and loved the lamb one! The only complaint was that the parking lot was so full there was no where to park. I had to let my fiance out to get the food and circle the parking lot until she was done.
OPA! is going down...Paros Souvla is SO MUCH BETTER.. This place is delicious!

Even when OPA! was new and tasted 'good' to me (which I now feel foolish for thinking), I never remembered it being 'this' good at all.

I've travelled extensively to Greece and each time I have a meal at Paros Souvla, it is as if I'm transported back there. The food is so fresh. The calamari is simply the best ever-hands down! The village salad with the slab of feta, veggies, spices ...divine!
I've eaten here numerous times, and each time, have introduced a friend, and they too have raved about their experience here! I've tried almost everything on their menu and loved it all!
The service is fast & friendly. And though this establishment is a 'fast food' type eatery, the quality of food is what one would expect at a higher end restaurant. LOVE, love this place!

OMG! Delish!. I have to admit..I've not had much authentic Greek food myself nor have I been to many Greek restaurants, so I don't have much to compare this place to. However..I do know good food! The food here has amazing flavor! I am sitting here having lunch and every bite is delicious. This is my 3rd time coming back and I will continue to. My favorite so far is the sovla pork plate. Must try if you in the area!
I was at this location for lunch with my daughter. What wonderful, flavourful Greek! It is so worth the short wait as they cook your meal fresh. I wil be back.
Yummy!. Our family decided to try this place out after walking out of another NW restaurant due to bad/lack of service. And are we glad that we did. The food was great. Ordered the full calamari and it was so good. Even my oldest son who doesn't like calamari ate some. Ordered 2 kids meals and a pork plate. Everything was delicious. It is more pricey than your Opa around the corner but it is definitely better quality food. Only wish that there was more seating. Not a lot of tables but by the looks of it, a lot of people order and take out.
A taste of good Greek. Today my father and I stopped in for and early dinner at Paros Soulva. We were both pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, and, the upscale modern decor. I Had The slow roasted half chicken (Kota Kopanisti), and, the Horiatiki salad. My father had the Chicken Souvla Piata. We both found the chicken to moist, tender, the seasoning to be balanced; having all the flavours one would expect from authentic Greek cuisine. The salad was great as well; not too much Onion, Feta cheese or Pita bread. The restaurant itself boasted a comfortable seating for Thirty patrons; with bright sunny windows, and, colorful furnishings. Add to this the same level of good service one might find in an upscale restaurant, long opening hours seven days a week, and, a takeout option makes Paros Soulva a great option for good healthy food on the go. The only downside was a limited selection of beverages; that aside I will be returning very soon. Blessings to everyone. :-)
Awesome! Food is hot and fresh, wait time was reasonable for what was prepared, facilities were very clean and staff really nice. Well worth to try out, not your typical chain food, I hope they maintain their standards....

Best Greek food!. Even though they have a similar Opal of Greece feel it is far above in the food quality and Greek atmosphere. Expect to pay a bit more but in this case you get what you pay for and it is delicious!
OMG!! This is waaay better than OPA and Broken Plate and cheaper for more! I tried the chicken wrap and the calamari and both were amazing, the food was really fresh, the bread is to die for...i highly recommend this place for anyone that loves greek food...also the design of the place is super clean and modern...love it!!

Phenomenal. The food here is absolutely amazing, I have never had Greek food like this. My girlfriend and I both went in the other day, the food is amazing, the staff are even better and the owners are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. I had the Chicken Wrap with fries and I had to take home left overs with me, the wrap was amazing, more food then I could eat for $12! My girlfriend had the half chicken with salad and she had to leave with a to go box as well, the food exceeded our expectations. The presentation of the food was great too, your food won't be on cheap plates here.
I find it kind of sad that the owner of the Opa in the area has to write horrible reviews because he is scared he will lose business. But in all honestly all Opas should be careful if this place decides to franchise, the food here has the quality of a high end restaurant with the price of a fast food restaurant, Opa simply can not compare.
If you are ever in the area, for your own good make sure to stop to have some exceptional food. I will be going back as much as I possibly can.
Delicious. This place has some of the best greek food I've ever had. Me and my husband both love the souvla plates and the lamb is our favorite. The potatoes are wonderful they just melt in your mouth. The village salad is my favorite, they definitely aren't cheap with the feta. Its a great place to stop in and grab some authentic greek food if you don't have an hour for lunch or dinner. This place has ruined greek food for me everywhere beware its very addicting.

The best Greek food I've ever had, came here for the first time and I'm already hooked! Looved the food, had the Calamari (half order) for $5 and their BIG! Incredible! beats OPA crispy fried crap they call Calamari. The Chicken platter was sooo good and the Tzatziki portion and taste was bomb. Plus the Greek hunks behind the counter was a great add-on and great service. Can't wait to come back, definitely me and my friend new favourite go-too Greek food place. Definitely going to try some baklava next time too :))
Best greek food I had in calgary. I run my business on the road and eat out most of my meals. I can tell you I have never seen a better greek spot in alberta. Its dirt cheap and the portion are huge. I shouldnt tell you this, but ask for the homemade baklavas (if they are out of the baclavas next time I go, ill erase this review lol leave some for me!!!)
I find it funny that the owner of the opa in the neighbourhood is wasting his time with fake reviews on this place. whats wrong buddy? your mcdonald type of greek food isnt selling anymore because people found something much better to eat at the same price...? Yeah I guess I would be upset too if I was you lol Be jealous all you want but you arent fooling anyone with your fake reviews.

Wow wow wow. The food was amazing. The service was exceptional. If these guys franchise I would really feel bad for OPA. Because there is no comparison in the quality of food. I believe their calamari is untouchable it this city. Go try for yourself you won't be disappointed
I've been going here since they opened and service is very consistent and food is delicious. For the love of god, please don't compare them to Opa! Paros makes their dishes to order. Nicest guys you'll ever meet. They really care about their service and always ask for feedback which I like.
BEST GREEK IN CALGARY!. Calgary needed a place like this! I loved the food, loved the atmosphere, and love the owners. I spent over a month in Greece a couple of years ago, and this has got to be the best Greek food I had since then... the lamb, the chicken, and BAM, the calamari!!! I was expecting OPA when I talked in, but man, it's NOT AT ALL THE SAME. Paros Souvla totally reminded me of that authentic Greek street food. Loved it, oh and did I say I loved the owners? Just awesome people~

Fast Food?. ... I don't think so. This is good food, served quickly. The quality of the food is just as good as any of the higher priced Greek restaurants in town (think Broken Plate, Calypso, Santorini) for a fraction of the price. Super frIendly staff to boot.

If you haven't been to Paros Souvla in Royal Oak, get in your vehicle and go there now! Slow braised lamb, spit roasted pork, brined chicken and the most delectable melt in your mouth lemon potatoes you will ever eat! Clean, well designed, great and friendly service! Just absolutely delicious! Go, you will not regret it!

We'll be coming back!. My husband and I ate dinner at Paros Souvla last Friday and the food was amazing! I had the chicken plate while my husband had the pork/lamb and he wanted more after, it was THAT good! Food portions were great, the service was very friendly and the restaurant was very well kept and we enjoyed all the colors that the restaurant was showcasing!
