Review Saltlik Calgary - Calgary

A. Spencer (Life Should Sparkle)
Quaint little setting perfectly lite for a relaxing evening dinner. Server and host we’re cherry and delightful As well as personal and helpful with menu selection and recommendations. Very attentive to our needs. The food was enjoyable with beautiful charring on the steak and salmon favourite was the appetizer and wine. Price was a little bit high in comparison to other calibre restaurants, flavour decent but not outstanding though the atmosphere and service offset these points.

Although I consider this one of the top places for steak in Calgary, it's nice to see their other dishes are equally delicious. Highly recommend the gnocchi and scallops. Service was excellent and atmosphere is always great. Their brussel sprouts will leave you lusting for more.

Visited this restaurant twice so far. My first experience with this restaurant was beyond and above my expectation. So i went there again on last Friday, my medium rare steak came over cooked. it looked/tasted more like medium well or even well done. other than that, staff were kind and helpful.

The crostone was unique and delicious. Easily the best steak I have ever had. Choosing my own sides was a great touch. Service was excellent. Portion sizes we great. The sticky toffee pudding is to die for. Will definitely be back.

Online reservation was easy to book. The hostess was inviting and prompt with our arrival. We were seated quickly and didn't have to wait. We were offered waters while we looked over the menu and the water was brought over very quickly. Severs were on top of making sure we had everything we needed and our drinks weren't sitting empty. She also managed to check in frequently without being overbearing or interrupting (always a balancing act, as a server I know the struggle). The bathroom was gorgeous and so clean. Definitely wasn't expecting a bathroom that was so nice and inviting. Probably sounds weird but it was a pleasant surprise so I thought I'd mention it in the review. The food was top notch. Flavours were perfect, portion size was good, steak was cooked perfectly. And the brussel sprouts? Omg I'll forever dream of those between visits.

Great place. You must try the calamari. One of the best I've ever tried. And the dessert, all were sublime.

What an unexpected dining experience at Saltlik especially in a game night. 😊 We stayed at the nearby hotel and just googled for a restaurant for a dinner, Saltlik just pop up. So, we just went It's a joyful dining experience..we had a glass of great beer and 3 awesome starters. We ordered only a main dish to share with and the service staff had the food into a sperated plate..such a nice & thoughtful action.👍 The sirloin was tender & delicious... It's a great restaurant worth to revisit.👍

The first thing that hits you when you walk in is the ambience and the good music. Then the great food. The staff were prompt and helpful. The grilled chicken sandwich was amazing - you could taste the seasoning and grilled flavour in every bite. That and some good wine, makes for a great night! Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Saltlik while staying in Calgary from Edmonton. We are both ex-service industry and eating out is literally a hobby. We were gifted with Chris as our server. The service was next level exceptional! The food was spectacular and the room was elegant, casual and comfortable. I wish we had Saltlik in Edmonton! But this is our new favourite Calgary restaurant and will be back again and again.

Made reservations for Valentine's Day and was looking forward to a lovely evening with my wife. Had never tried Saltlik and was recommended by a friend to give it a try. We were thrilled and over the moon with the food. Steaks were cooked perfectly and came out in good timing. However, the service was less than satisfying. We saw our server less times I can count on one hand and waited over 20 minutes for someone to finally come over to ask if we wanted more water. At this point our table still had dirty dishes and no apology was ever issued during the taking of the payment. The experience was not up to the standards I was expecting, but the food was amazing and out of this world. I wouldn't recommend this place in the future.

Wanted to try this place for a few years now has I haven't heard a bad thing about it. Decide to try it for are 2 year wedding. That was a mistake. I made a reservation before hand and we were seated right away with a offer for free champion. This was the best part of are visit. After we were seated are waitress didn't come for 15 mins well we watch 2 tables around us get serviced a few times. We finally both order drinks and she returned about 15 mins with drinks. We almost walk out as we though we were forgetting. After sitting there for 30 mins we finally received are drinks (yeas we should have taken the free drink). We both ordered the sirloin's (one petite and one large), a side of mushrooms and cheese toast. Steaks were cooked how we wood like them but they weren't even 1/2' thick which if I pay12 dollar's a steak I would except. I have paid 10 to 15 dollars for a steak sandwich at a pub and it looked better then what was served at this steak house. If your looking for a steak dinner in Calgary avoid this place and find some where else.

The location was good being close to Theatre Calgary. The Chahuli (sp) sculpture was beautiful. The service was very good. But the food fell short of expectations. It was good but not dress up, drive downtown, pay for parking spectacular. 3 people had the 16oz special with lobster mashed and none felt was worth the $100 price.

My husband and I went for dinner on April 1 to the Saltlik. He works at a steakhouse and thus I’d say we probably frequent them more than the average Joe and enjoy a pretty casual type of service and environment. We arrived about an hour and a half before close. The hostess made an excellent first impression. She greeted us immediately and offered us complimentary champagne. We were excited about the dinner and began being fairly forgiving when it came to service but as the night went on it just got more and more frustrating. I was drawn to this particular steakhouse for dinner because of their Striploin with blue cheese butter. We started with the tuna tartar (which was very good!) and then asked what the cut of the day was. Our server told us it was a 12 oz. Striploin (no further explanation) so I asked for that with the blue cheese butter added. When the steak arrived, there was no butter. It took a while for our server to return and I waited, again requesting the butter. When the server returned with it, our steaks were cold so I asked for it to be put under a warmer just to melt the butter (who wants cold steak and cold butter?!). The server was extremely rushed and said something along the lines of ‘Oh, you’d like it more cooked!’. I tried to correct him but he was already off with the steak, leaving the butter on the table. Of course when the steak returned, it was overcooked. By this time, I just wanted to eat so I put the cold butter on my now slightly overcooked steak and didn’t say anything. After our entrees were finished, we were contemplating dessert and/or dessert drinks. We asked for a couple of minutes to decide. Instead of speaking to us, our server placed our bill on the table as he walked by. We had decided on wanting dessert drinks and ended up ordering them from another server. The next time we saw our server, he arrived at the table with payment machine in hand and the new bill. When we looked at the bill we noticed there was no striploin and instead two ribeyes. There wasn’t a huge price difference but that was clearly not what we had ordered. The server proceeded to tell us that the cut of the day was actually a ribeye and he just didn’t know. He was mildly apologetic and seemed frustrated that we weren’t just going to immediately handle the bill. I had noticed my steak was a lot more marbled than usual and lacked the distinct strip of fat that the striploin has but didn’t think to question a steakhouse about their cuts! At this point, I asked to speak with a manager. The manager we dealt with was Avery. Avery came to the table thinking our only issue was the mix-up in steaks. As soon as she got to the table, we realized that she was the manager we had heard scolding our server earlier in the night. She did so in a quieter section of the restaurant, but still quite audible to our table. We explained everything that had gone wrong with the night and she apologized and said she would come back with a solution. When she returned, she advised us the restaurant would handle the steak we DID NOT order and that if we returned, we would have better service. We were extremely underwhelmed with her response. Upon leaving, we could hear her scolding our server well within earshot of the diners again. It was unbelievably unprofessional and I'm sure mortifying for our server. Overall, a huge swing and miss with us.

The service was on point and the food was absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend the chicken wings and all the beef / meats.

Great food... great service... great atmosphere.. never a disappointing time... with great steaks and the best wok fried calamari!
Carla Hulsemann-Van Horne
Excellent food and service! Colin was our waiter and he made our night enjoyable! Highly recommend the Saltlik!

Visited Saltliks last Saturday. We travelled in from Red Deer. It was our first time there. The atmosphere was great and the service was impeccable. I wish I remembered our severs name because she was a delight. My recommendation if you’re going on a sunny day on the weekend, book a reservation for an hour earlier than you think you want. Or make sure you have no timed evening plans after. The wait for the food was well over an hour. We had no scheduled plans after so the wait for us wasn’t an issue. We enjoyed great cocktails and some free cheese toast (because of the longer than expected wait for the food) while we waited and when the food arrived, it didn’t disappoint. It was delicious. We are already planning our next visit back.

We love this place, never disappointed in the food, the staff, the atmosphere...absolutely fantastic! The calamari is the best we have ever had... anywhere!

We were at your restaurant last night. Food were great! But very disappointed with your service. Our dinner last for 3 HOURS! Unbelievable waiting period for our food to arrive. And to top it up our bills were a mess. The server need to revise it 4 times to get it all right.
Val MacCrimmon
Excellent food and service! Pricey for the portion size so do not go expecting a Keg type meal!
Louise Wapachee
It is a great steak house, food is excellent! I would definitely recommend this place if you want a great steak cooked exactly to your taste.
Jeff Winkler
Was in Calgary for business and this place was recommended. Didn't disappoint....service was excellent and the steak was just as good as was expected for Alberta!!! Area and ambiance of this place cannot be beat....highly recommended

The Saltlik is a great steakhouse and bar. Serving staff the best. No other place can match the food. Very good experience. The Keg could learn a thing or two.
Mark Derbyshire
On a plus side the steak I had was cooked as I asked. The bad side was that the plates were cold. The jacket potatoes was undercooked and barely warm. It looked to have been an attempt to be reheated as the skins were soft and leathery, not crispy as I would expect. The side vegetables were the same, burnt on the outside and then barely reheated as they were uncooked and again the serving dish was stone cold. The staff were very friendly but they seemed to be on a mission to get you out so they could refill the table. At the moment I wouldn't recommend going there.

Great service. Food was excellent. I highly recommend the place
Christopher Bull
Great food average service. Sat us out the back...I stared into the kitchen from my seat and then as various staff finished they came and sat near by and ate their meals. Got a nice bottle of red which was decanted but then splashed onto table and then it was serve yourself after that. Music was a bit disco like . Suspect poor management of staff on floor as venue looked fabulous. Disappointing experience but with right manager running front of house and some TLC I imagine one could have a great evening

That was my first night out in Calgary<br/><br/>No meat in steak house as I don’t do red meat... but I can get what I want no matter where I am...<br/>It was seafood night for me last night .. .<br/>.<br/>Starters: coconut crunchy prawns .<br/>.<br/>Main: Sable fish with mashed potatoes and my favourite asparagus 😋<br/><br/>Drinks : Corona, the babe 😘<br/><br/>Place: Saltlik, Calgary .<br/>.<br/>For more such reviews visit me on insta <br/>@Traveltalesbymanoj

Food was incredible, service was great. A bit pricy but you get what you pay for. I had the bbq steak, baked potato and Mexican cream corn. I can’t wait to come back!

This was my second time coming to Saltlik. I wanted my parents to try it out especially since we were celebrating two birthdays (myself & my father). Working in hospitality myself with a 4 diamond star hotel, I expect we give excellent quality service to our guests as they are taking time out to enjoy special moments and giving us their business. I won’t be returing to Saltlik nor recommending. Except for the ambiance and the dry ribs, it was below average. Our server was Maro and I must say that he needs more training . We had to look out and wait on him when it should be the opposite. His service was atrociously slow and poor attitude. He had a very casual attitude towards service and when we told him that it was our birthdays his attitude was just cool. Oh happy birthday. Our molten cake took from order to arrival 30mins (ordered at 8:50pm reached at 9:30pm). We even had the host pick up are salt and take it away whilst we we having dinner. Terrible. The whole dinner experience took about 4hrs when it should have been max 2.5hrs. The slow service and poor attitude just ruined the experience & was not worth $200.

Visited Saltlik last night and was very impressed by the ambiance, food and service.<br/><br/>The lamb chops were by far the best lamb dish I’ve had in Calgary. The steak was cooked beautifully. Cheesecake was great too. Our server was good, I’m unsure as to why he gave us two servings of ketchup.... <br/><br/>Overall great experience and would highly recommend!

Beautiful interior, kind staff and tasty food. Portions were perfect, a bit pricier but worth it for a night out. Steak and baked potato was delicious (: good craft beers too.

I loved this place. When I walked in I was handed a glass of champagne (nothing of super high quality or anything, but the gesture was appreciated). The seats were comfortable with a great ambience. It was pretty busy as restaurants downtown usually are. I got a rib eye that was perfectly cooked and my partner got the chicken which was above average. The sides were great. I will definitely be back.

Let me start off by saying that the food, experience and our server initially made this visit a 4.5/5 but we had a cross contamination issue with my wife. I'm usually VERY GOOD at mentioning my wife's nut allergy everywhere we go, but I had forgotten to do so when I ordered my Striploin. I asked for the broccoli on the side and when it came our server confirmed that the broccoli had nuts in it (unusual for a broccoli dish). When asked if we could get a separate one he said he would check with the kitchen and may charge us for it (they brought a new one within minutes but did not confirm they would charge us, but this is quite minor). <br/><br/>Our server did confirm that my Striploin had no nuts (I usually share food with my wife) which is why I gave some to her. But in hindsight, if someone prepped a plate that wasn't told an allergy beforehand, chances are way higher for cross contamination especially if the side dish contained nuts. This did not occur to me at the time. <br/><br/>This was just a series of unfortunate events that led to an unpleasant evening. Yes I admit it was my fault for not mentioning the allergy prior to ordering my plate, however, our server IMMEDIATELY guaranteed that the steak on my plate did not have nuts. We have been to Saltlik a few times prior to this visit and they were nice evenings. We will never be back after this though.

Ordered the filet mignon and substituted out the loaded baked potato that's included for the lobster mashed potatoes. The server told us that it would cost around $9 to make the substitution. Turns out it was $13.50 to do the substitution, totally not worth it at all and found it absolutely ridiculous. However, was very seasoned and delicious. But keep in mind, there was not a lot of lobster in it. <br/><br/>Ordered the peppercorn steak and substituted to asparagus. It was much spicier than expected, but still good.<br/><br/>The toffee pudding with ice cream was nice and warm, but a bit sweet. <br/><br/>If you want to substitute out the the loaded baked potato, I highly do not recommend the lobster mashed potatoes. The other options cost $1 only (or as I was told). <br/>

Saltlik has all the elements for a truly great night out. Excellent ambiance, service, and, evidently, the food.<br/><br/>Always greeted with the perfect balance of modern meets classic, it never fails to please in any aspect.<br/><br/>Although known for its steak, I decided to indulge in the pasta this time. It came in a cream sauce delicately perfumed with truffle and kobe meatballs in a house made marinara sauce. The acidity of tomatoes and the earthiness of truffles is an unlikely pair, but together they worked beautifully- a unique dish worth coming here especially for.<br/><br/>The hunter chicken is also always good bet- juicy, succulent and brimming with flavour. Puts a completely new spin on the saying "tastes like chicken"!<br/><br/>What takes the cake, however, wasn't an entree at all- it was the "crudo"- with thinly sliced beef, greens, enoki mushrooms, and shaved grana padano.<br/>It came with thin garlic crostini. Get it next time you go. Seriously.<br/><br/>No dinner at such an establishment would be complete without dessert- the sticky toffee pudding in particular is the cherry on top and deserves all its praise.<br/><br/>To top it off further, the staff are consistently pleasant and the rustic yet chic decor flows completely in tune with everything else.<br/><br/>It would almost be a crime to pass by and not pass through.<br/>Check it out next time in downtown YYC!<br/>

Came here on a week day evening with set reservation, but finding parking was a total pain. Ended up parking at TD square and walked there via 8th. -0.5 <br/><br/>We ended up being 15 mins late and I guess they gave our requested window seating away.<br/><br/>We ordered the mushroom soup, French onion soup, ribeye with side of lobster mash, filet mignon with side of garlic toast, and finished everything off with the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. Everything was freaking delicious!!!! No complaints about the food or service. I'm not a huge fan of steak, but the ribeye is a no fail. Finished everything and had a good experience. They were a full house that night. <br/><br/>Will definitely be back

Saltlik is merely okay, not worth the price in my opinion. The decor is nice but parking is a nightmare. I found the seasoning to be over simplified and the portion per unit price to be small. Our server was not very attentive and rather unprofessional. Not a great experience.

Went with a group of 7 people, had appetizers and drinks in the lounge. Service was excellent, servers offered valuable tips on both the drink and food menu and spoke loud enough that everyone could hear which was much appreciated! Food was superb, fries are a must. Will definitely return!

Rented the top floor for a group event. The staff was awesome and helpful. Booking was easy and accommodating. The food was well priced to fit my budget and really wonderful. Everything was set up perfectly. Best experience I'v had thus far with planning an event. Will definitely return.

Lobster mashed potato was fantastic, too bad the steak was flaccid! I had the top sirloin, it was chewy and barley warm. I wouldn't be in a rush to go back.

After being a loyal customer for 4+ years, I have decided to stop going here because of the consistent bad service. I shouldn’t have even tipped my server, but just to be nice, I tipped 10% and the look on her face was priceless. A tip is earned, not deserved. A lot of people forget that these days.

We booked the private dining room at Saltlik Calgary for a family event. As we live in another province the arrangements were almost totally made via email and telephone. Cynthia was endlessly patient and professional as details of menu were adjusted. The dinner itself exceeded our expectations. Both the chicken and beef entrees were delicious, and cooked to perfection. Dessert was equally yummy! The service was efficient, professional and friendly. In a group of over 35 people I heard only complimentary comments - a rare occurrence. The room itself was very clean and attractive, providing a warm and casually elegant setting. All in all, we were extremely pleased and would not hesitate  to recommend Saltlik as  a venue for private events.

Came here one night in August. The decor is lovely, especially the Chihuly chandelier hanging in the centre of the restaurant. Our table wasn't the best, in an awkward spot, wish it was more tucked away. The filet was cooked wonderfully, just the way I like it and had a good amount of seasoning too. My boyfriend enjoyed his meal as well. We have recommended a few people to come here and they have enjoyed it as well. Is more pricey, so would save this place for special occasions.
Andrew Purchase
Great food and great service. Love that is on Stephen Ave. Nice interior with surprisingly high ceilings. Never had any appetizer and had to leave earlier then expected, so we missed dessert but the steaks were great and I tried the lobster mashed potato, which I would definitely recommend!
Beer Lover
For a chain restaurant it's a whole lot better than many of them. Had to try the steak salad after my fleecing at Buchanan's and I have to say for $22 it killed the competition. A little more seasoning on the flank and a little less dressing on the wedge woulda been preferred but all in all a solid deal. Best calamari of the breaded variety too...

I came here for late lunch with my sisters a while back and I must say I was not impressed. The service was okay. The food was not all that great and for a place that calls themselves a steak house the steak was horrible, dry with no taste and the fries that came on the side where so salty. The best thing we had we the chocolate lava cake.
DutchParty
Service was great. Food was ok at best - don't like the really thin fries which were way too salty - I guess they take their name "salt"lik serious. Ordered a burger which was tasty but covered in so much sauce I barely tasted the mushrooms or cheese. Would probably not go back.

Saltlik has been a great start to my list of Big Taste YYC restaurants! I came here with coworkers for lunch as a group of seven. We came a bit before the lunch rush on the first day of Big Taste, so it wasn’t busy when we arrived. We were quickly seated in a booth in the back and provided with our menus. I already knew what I wanted to order, however the Big Taste menu was nowhere to be found.
Col. Saunders
Came here for Big taste, I ordered the lamb and I am sure everyone was a bit surprised the lamb was a pasta dish and the menu doesn't even state that.<br/>Service was good. Food was okay. Didnt like how I had to ask for a big taste menu as I saw other people had to ask why not give it to the patrons as they get the regular menu and have an option. Would love to come back and try the real menu.
Roy Sunstrum
Steaks were great. Traditional ranch decor but classy. Asked for butter part way through and never got it. A blemish on an otherwise great meal.
YYCFoodie
Saltlik has probably the best steak I've ever had in my life. I always order my filet mignon rare and they made it perfectly rare and it wasn't chewy. A lot of steakhouses can make it rare, but it ends up being chewy. Price was right for what I asked for. The duck fat fries are definitely a must try. The lobster mashed potatoes were decent... I can probably live without (it's an extra $15 for this side). The Ahi Tuna appetizer was probably the only thing I found appetizing as a starter. I saw a beef carpaccio during my research before I visited Saltlik, but I guess they discontinued it. I am only giving Saltlik a 4 because the service could've been better. We were asked if we were doing okay once after we got our entrees and we waited for a while until they asked us if we wanted refills for our drinks... When that time came, we were already done our meal and ready to leave. However, the food was definitely on par. Will definitely come back.
Britt Rae
Nice atmosphere and a solid steak and sides. The duck fat fries are ridiculously good. Service was ok. I think a little bit pricey though.

We were in for a work Christmas party in the private rooms downstairs. Our servers seemed flustered at small changes such as me moving over one seat. They were also slow on drink service. The biggest downfall was we were not pre-warned that there would be an early last call and our group would need to leave while the night was still young.
7Furries
Did you know they have an event room upstairs? DJ booth and separate bar o/h projector, screen and podium with mic. Ordered the ceasar salad which was very strong in garlic but seemed to be missing both the bacon and lemon wedge, hunter chicken with mash and asparagus, topped with a mushroom reduction/coulee which was excellent, and finished with a baked apple tart with ice cream which was delightful. The right amount of staff were working for the number of guests and service was timely. Those who ordered steak had nothing but compliments. Very accommodating to make adjustments to the pre-determined choice menu at time of order, for allergies or other concerns. If you are organizing an event, you may want to consider the Saltlik, just give a once over of the tables to verify sufficient cutlery at each place setting.

We came here last week for dinner and were looking forward to some good steak!<br/><br/>We started with the duck fat fried fries and the dry short ribs. The Fries were very crispy and came with a ketchup and a peppercorn aioli dip. They also had a smoked paprika seasoning. It was a very unusual and gave...

Went here for lunch today and it was super busy and restaurant was full. Good thing I had made reservations. Food was good and it arrived quickly for a in and out lunch meal. Will definitely go back again.

At this year’s Big Taste, Kev and I visited Saltlik at downtown Calgary. In contrast to its low-profile, refined exterior, the steakhouse’s lively and upbeat atmosphere lures young crowds of steak lovers. With people chattering and music playing in the background, you quickly notice its difference from other elegant steakhouses such as Vintage. Instead of a “steakhouse”, I am more inclined to categorize it as a “lounge”.
David Nguyen
Although I don't get to go often as it is my anniversary spot the past 5 years have been great, the staff have been very accommodating and the food has been great and consistent. I also highly suggest their lobster mashed potatoes.

Taste the heat not the meat<br/><br/>The real estate is the best part of saltlik, if saltlik were in a less popular area of the city i doubt they would be doing so well. Ive been with a large group for a birthday dinner and almost all of us at the table had complaints! The most common was that you could taste the heat and not meat. Ive been again on my own and was not overly impressed with the quality, very moxies esk.

This is one of the restaurants I tend to go to for a decent meal especially during the summer when it patio season. I like the location and the atmosphere. The food is above average as is the service. Worth a try.
Diningouttonight
I stay at nearby hotels often and I wandered in here for dinner on a cold dark night. Good choice. The fireplace was warm and inviting, the staff and clientele were cheerful and steaks were grilling. The menu has a good selection of steak and other dishes, small but good wine and beer selection and if you sit in the bar, sports on the tv. Prices are reasonable considering location. Friendly attentive service. There are more upscale spots but Saltliks is comfortable and ideal for relaxed dining.

Ok food. Service needs improvement.  I had the #1 Ahi Tuna Salad for lunch. The tuna and salad ingredients were fresh. The vinaigrette dressing didn't overpower the flavours of the ingredients. While I was apprehensive about the potatoes with a tuna salad, I have to say that it worked for the dish. Four of us came for a weekday lunch when the restaurant wasn't busy. However service was incredibly slow for the amount of staff on the floor. Whenever we wanted something - more water, ordering food or getting the bill required us actively trying to get their attention for a couple of minutes. This was a big letdown.
Rush
I went here today with my boyfriend and the service was the worst I've ever experienced. When we were seated; our table was dirty and we had no cutleries. Three servers came up to us to offer water, we didn't get any until after awhile. After making our order for wine and food, our server came back pretty later than expected saying "they couldn't find the wine we asked for". The meal didn't even get to our table because we were so disappointed by the service. Our servers also did not offer us to speak to the manager. Walked out and went to our favourite restaurant next door instead.

Just wanted to say that the food was great however the service was terrible.  My girlfriend and I had come to calgary from Lethbridge for a girls weekend.... we always stay at the Marriott across the street as does my husband and myself, always dining at the salt lick  The server was so very rude I couldn't believe it.  That was her first time there and her last.  Our bill was not small!!  we also had a bottle of (I think it was) Owls nest. appies and steak.

Been frequenting this restaurant 4-5 times a year for the last 5-6 years. Steaks are always great however in recent visits the vegetable sides are obviously not the freshest.<br/>The biggest concern I have is the service. If I'm dropping $350-400 for a family meal, please train your staff to provide some elementary items to be expected from a restaurant of this ilk. First offer drinks, clean off the table and for gods sake, know how to differentiate between a white and red wine (other than color) and learn how to use a cork screw. This is not a problem with one or two but appears to be an epidemic at this place the last year or so. Management - clean it up!<br/>(And bring back the carpaccio)

Last night we traveled to Calgary to attend a concert at the Arts Common.  We tried to get into the Milestone Restaurant but were told it would be a 15 minute wait because I needed a table since I was in a wheelchair.  We couldn't wait because we had to make the concert.  The food spirit was shining on us because of being turned down by one restaurant we were given the good fortunate to partake the experience of Saltlik.  We were greeted with warmth as staff opened the doors to a great dining experience.  They had a table ready at the front for me in my wheelchair and my three guests, the waiter was prompt with service and drinks.  Friendly and helpful.  Two of us ordered the Hunter Chicken which was a party in my mouth of flavors.  Two perfectly crusted chicken breasts on a bed of mashed potatoes with mushrooms and asparagus along with the most incredible mushroom gravy.  The other two ordered the pasta specials which were great as well.  Our food was delivered to us promptly and we were at the theatre in plenty of time to enjoy an evening of Cuban Jazz.  Thanks to Saltlik for a great start to our evening with a meal that cooked to flavourful perfection AND for making me feel welcome by making their restaurant so welcoming and accessible!

I used to absolutely LOVE this place, and dined there frequently. The last time I went I was rather disappointed. The calamari (which was my favorite) was super salty and almost difficult to eat because of that. Also, my once favorite dish on the menu is no longer there….what ever happened to the grilled chicken penne? It was an amazing dish. Sadly since I didn’t see it on the menu, now they have Michelangelo Chicken Penne, which doesn’t compare. I will just stick to the steak entrees instead!

Not at all pleased with my latest experience here. I've been a few times over the past 5 years, but this last time (September 2015) wasn't good at all.<br/><br/>We went with a big group of 8 people. The drinks were good and the servers were very attentive. The food though... Our appetisers took over 30 minutes to come to the table and when they arrived (calamari, cheese toast and a duo of dips and the ribs), they were cold and unappetising. Firstly, the quality of the calamari is on par with what you could order from Singapore Sam's, for one third of the price. The cheese dip was so cold that it was chunky. The cheese toast was exactly as you'd expect, just for an exorbitant price. I should have expected that, so i can't knock them for it. The worst though was the ribs. We didn't get ribs... We got seasoned bones. There was no meat on at least half of the pieces...<br/><br/>The main course was better, as long as you ordered steak, but even that they got wrong. Everyone that ordered medium rare received medium or closer to well done.<br/><br/>I ordered a salmon and the skin was burned. Not charred... Not crispy... Burned black. As you can guess, the meat itself was dry and over cooked.<br/><br/>Overall, unhappy with the food, but servers and drinks were good. Servers are very friendly and very accommodating, but unable to fix the issues that lie in the kitchen.

I’d been to Saltlik once before and had an amazing Filet Mignon. It was melt in your mouth delicious. I should have got that again, or tried fish or chicken. But, I was craving red meat, so I tried the New York Striploin with blue cheese butter. The flavours were great and it was quite enjoyable from the taste perspective, however it was kind of sinewy and grisly in spots. For $40 all I got was the steak and a potato – a little pricey. The baked potato was large and fully loaded, but it could have had even more toppings to make it extra delicious. I added a small side of featured veggies at $7 (not worth $7 – they were veggies I can grill on the BBQ at home for probably $1, and my friend didn’t enjoy the fresh herbs – she felt there was too much ‘shrubbery’). So, my meal was $47… for what it was, it wasn’t worth the price.

I can say Saltlik for a quick tasty lunch in the downtown core is a good choice, service is fast friendly and efficient and their Calamari is one of the best in town

We had a phenomenal meal at Saltlik back in March during Big Taste. Decent portion & top-notch food. Loved the short ribs and seared salmon. Also, highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding cake. The only compliant we had was that the waiting time for the food was a bit long. Aside from that, we were both impressed and would come back in no time!

There were four of us, we ordered the Tuna Tartar and Dry Ribs for appetizers, the tartar was fresh but a bit flavorless, the dry ribs had a nice sweet flavor. <br/><br/>3 of us had the petite filet and the 4th had pasta with meatballs. The steaks were seasoned and cooked perfectly, we opted for the salad instead of the baked potato, the salad was fresh and light. The pasta and meatballs did not disappoint either. <br/><br/>Our server was great, friendly, attentive but not in a annoying way. We never had to ask for anything twice. <br/>

Love the atmosphere, lots of energy. Warm, friendly and personalized service. Filet mignon was tender and what I expected for Alberta beef. House salad was unusual and wonderful. Highly recommend. Absolutely fabulous service from Carmela. Nice touch to have GM Mike stop by and chat. Rating should be in the 80% and up!

Basically my Favorite Restaurant!. I have been to Saltlik 3 times within the last year. Great top notch service, amazing food and a great atmosphere no matter the size of your party. The prices are reasonable when compared to direct competition such as Hy's, Ceasers etc. I will continue to keep going back! The only thing I would like to see is a Kale option for ceaser salad added to the menu!

Good Help is Hard to Find. Apparently good help is hard to find in Calgary. Our server was Travis O.. He was definitely all about the gratuity but I don't think there is a genuine bone in his body. Excuses. Excuses. Certainly won't be returning. Management should keep a watchful eye on this fellow.

Simply excellent food and service. We were at Saltlik for dinner on a Saturday evening and, from start to finish, our experience was outstanding. Three of the four in our party ordered steaks (the fourth ordered salmon) and we were all duly impressed with the quality of the food. I, especially, was pleased with my filet mignon as I like my steak blue rare, and it can be so hit-and-miss. Our desserts were excellent as well, and while we had to wait because the apple pies two of us ordered were burnt in the kitchen and had to be re-baked, the server, Ali, dealt with this to our complete satisfaction. Our service throughout the evening was simply top-notch: the drinks and main courses arrived in good time, water glasses were regularly re-filled, and the staff seemed genuine, not `fake`and try-hard-ish that is so annoying. I highly recommend Saltlik to anyone who is interested in a superb, high-quality restaurant experience.

Hidden prices but pretty tasty. I just had lunch here. They don't tell you that when you switch sides you are charged for it. I got charged 10 bucks for a different side. Who wants fries for a side anymore? Overall, the food was fantastic, just beware the hidden costs.

Efficient service, great ambiance, good food. My wife and I met here for a quick dinner before going to Theatre Calgary. Thanks to attentive and efficient work by our server, we were finished our meal within an hour - even had time for a post dinner cocktail. Food was good...not great. My Prime sirloin steak was cooked exactly medium rare - however, it was not the best steak I have ever had - probably a 7/10 on the tasty scale. My wife had the parmesan cheese crusted halibut whish was delicious. We have been to Saltlik many times and it always delivers on its promise of good quality food at reasonable prices in a lively and cozy environment.

Steakhouse Supreme. A group of us had the pleasure of dining at Saltlik on January 20, 2015. The food and service were excellent. We were greeted warmly and superbly cared for by Erin. She took special efforts to see that we got the beverages and food that optimized our experience. She did so in a very personable way. Wine tasters made an accurate selection to accompany the meal so very easy.<br/><br/>The food was very good. It was tasty and well presented. The lack of vegetables that came with the meals and had to be ordered as a side dish was troublesome but not life threatening! "Old school" experiences see vegetables as part of the meal that add a desired balance in flavours.<br/><br/>Saltlik gave us a great start to our evening of of enjoying a concert by Nikki Yanoffsky. We look forward to a return visit when we wish to enjoy a terrific steak dinner.
Nan
Top Notch. Excellent service and meal! Thanks for a great evening. Liked several servers taking care so wait was less.<br/>Appetisers: Cheese Toast and Calamari. Good. <br/>Highly recommend: Hunter Chicken - terrific presentation on the plate.<br/>Kobe Meatballs and melt in your mouth pasta.<br/>Delicious Surf and Turf and Filet Mignon.<br/>Dessert: Shared Chocolate Java and Berries and Toffee Pudding. Yum!

Family meal. Everyone we bring here loves it.

The name says it all. I went there summer of 2014 on a date night with my wife, I had the Rib eye, and she had the fillet mignon. <br/><br/>WORST STEAK I have had ever!!!! not just in Calgary. I have black listed this restaurant and will not give them another dime. The only reasoning I could figure the food was sooooooooo salty is the Chef must be a four pack a day smoker and can't taste his food.<br/><br/>It was like eating a Jigs Dinner (Newfie dish with salt pork) so much salt it burns your tongue.<br/><br/>Please take my work I have eaten at a lot of steak houses and eat out a lot.

Loved it!. I am not big on red meat, but I have to give a review for this steakhouse. The filet mignon was delicious...tender...juicy. Mouthwatering. The duck fat fries were a great compliment and the calamari was a great starter. The service was quick, she was knowledgable and very friendly. We were celebrating my birthday and they really did a good job of making me feel special. My one criticism is that the hostess was quite rude when I asked for a booth in a quiet part of the restaurant. Although the steaks did come out a bit cool, the service team and managers were quick to find a solution. The dessert was delectable and the drinks<br/>were good as well. We had some sort of lava cake and I couldn't believe how good it was. It is a pricey restaurant but I thought it was worth an evening out.

Worst steak in the City.. We visited this restaurant for first time this past weekend. Service was good but that is where the good points. The salad had been prepared well in advance and the rib eye steak was tough , grisly and fat. It was awful. They did take the steak off the bill but doubtful we will return. There are too many great restaurants in Calgary.

Great Food and Service. We had a business dinner last night and really enjoyed the entrees and Alberta Beef steaks we had... great place to go... nice fresh interior and great walking location in downtown Calgary. We found this to be our favourite Calgary steakhouse and we will return.

Great Lunch. Steak frites perfectly cooked and beef o so tender

Very bad service and food sits too long before being brought to table. I had dinner there with my relatives last Friday night and the service was among the worst I have ever experienced in a restaurant, ever. We arrived there at 5:30PM and it was a quarter to nine before we were finished. We waited at least an hour for the main course. The excuse the waiter gave was that this was the chef's first night. Food was quite good. However, I do not recommend this restaurant.

Worst restaurant in Calgary ... EVER!. Uninterested, careless and terrible service.<br/><br/>Soda - little to no syrup and no fizz.<br/><br/>Moroccan Chicken Soup - cold, not room temperature but actually cold.<br/><br/>Ribeye - so cold that the citrus butter did not melt.<br/><br/>Was so terrible that I actually feel bad for the Saltlik. No bad enough to go back. The Salklik, A Rare Steakhouse in the sense that it is rare that such an awful restaurant exists.

Off the beat and track. This restaurant is a bit unnoticed. i have seen it through the years but never had much interest in entering. bu this past Thursday, I did for lunch and was surprisingly happy. Although i'm not much of a beef eater.. The beef was tasty. I plan on coming back with my husband is loves beef.

Delicious!!!!!. When we arrived, we were promptly seated at a nice little table by the window and offered drinks immediately. The server and hostess were bright, cheery and very professional. We ordered a house salad to start and the Hunter Chicken and Chicken Penne for mains. All of them were incredibly delicious and fresh. They were also served very quickly after we ordered. I definitely recommend this place!

Good steaks, but for a price.. Reviewing a steakhouse is a pretty easy thing. you have a set of standards that all decent steakhouses abide by, cooked correctly, seasoned right and served hot. The only areas you can elevate your restaurant above the others is atmosphere, choice cuts, sides, staff and whatever unique quirk you can come up with(i.e.. dry aging, wild meat). I supposed an impressive wine list doesn't hurt either.<br/> We came down for a bachelor party with a group of 12 of us. We sat down somewhat in the middle of the restaurant and the first thing we notice is its noisy as hell. You almost had to shout across the table, communication was all but cut off the from anyone more than 4 feet away. I thought we were supposed to be the loud ones.<br/> After a couple drinks we got our appetizers, tuna tartar, boneless "dry" ribs, duck fat fries and a few others. all very nicely done. the tuna had a perfect balance with the sesame oil and green onions, the fries are just plain good with lots of flavour and the dry ribs had a great sauce on them. All very nicely done.<br/> Our main course 11 out 12 had steak. The one guys had a burger and more duck fat fries. can't say I blame him, looked great and those fries... Between the rest of us we tried most of the steaks on the menu. first off out of 11 steaks only one was slightly undercooked. on a busy Sunday being able to crank out 11 steaks all different cuts perfectly(and simultaneously) is truly impressive. I applaud you. unfortunately it didn't arrive until it was ice cold. all of them. but, like I said big table, busy Sunday these things happened. all is forgiven. the steaks were nice cuts of meat and were seasoned nicely. my blue cheese butter was lacking in flavour a little, possibly because I couldn't melt it on my steak. Overall good steaks just like you'd get at any other steak house.<br/> The side options were a nice addition to the menu. lobster mashed potatoes(awesome), grilled broccoli, steakhouse mushrooms, prawns, etc.. we all really enjoyed our sides minus the one who got the grilled broccoli. might want to mention on the menu it has nuts in the dish. but I ate it, and it was very good none the less.<br/> Overall good food , good service, good location. But for the hefty price tag(our meal was well over 1k) I am not sure I'd go back. Nothing wrong with saltlick, But when your meal is comparable in price to a car, It should be more then a footnote for the evening. 6.8/10

Amazing steak. After the confusion with whom our waiter was we had the greatest time. My husband and I both had the 10 Oz sirloin steak. Its great to finally have a place recognize our superb beef in Canada and not add any unnecessary sauce or some other added crap trying to make a statement. Saltlik takes it back to the beef itself and shows how good it is without the added nonsense!! The red wine we had was paired beautifully with the steak. We had the Max Reserva cab Sauvignon 2011 erratic Chile which is now my new favorite. Our waiter was very charming and personable. He added to the experience for sure. We will definitely be back when we visit calgary again!! In fact I can't wait. <br/>(Picture is sideways...blown glass sculpture that's just mind blowing)

Disappointed...mediocre food, service, and atmosphere....I will not go back.

Great meal good service. Four of us dined at Saltlik and our meals were very good. We can recommend the halibut and the filet. Great marguerita on the rocks too. Service was good, almost too attentive. Everyone there asked how our meals were and seemed genuine about us having a good experience.

Worst lunch I've ever had. I had the Chop Salad for lunch. This was by far the worst salad I've ever had and possibly the worst lunch as well. Picture a bunch of what were nice green leafy veg and avocado absolutely smothered in a weird mustard, mayo, eggy dressing with undercooked, plain chicken. Menu said there was bacon in the salad, there was not a trace of any. The salad was pricey and teeny tiny as well. I was with colleagues and tried my best to try and eat the salad but I actually felt nauseous and have every time I think of this salad, yuck. <br/><br/>On the plus side, our server was really nice, service overall very good. That being said, the food was so bad, I'd never go back.

Wonderful lunch. We had the pear flatbread, sirloin, and sticky toffee. All were wonderful, nice atmosphere and lovely waitress. Highly recommended.

Wow! What a terrible dining experience. I have been to Saltlik in Calgary a few times over the years and, despite many people I know raving about how great it is, I have never been impressed. Tonight was no exception. First, my reservation for a table for six was not honored as they made a mistake and had only a booth for 5. Adding a chair to the end didn't make for very comfortable seating for the guy on the corner. Second, it took a very long time to get our drinks and even then they didn't bring the water for the two who ordered it. Third, the steaks were, well just bad. Three ordered the CAB Prime Sirloin which is supposed to the be "the best you can buy". It was tougher than shoe leather and not cooked to order. We all ordered Medium and one got it medium rare, one about medium and the other well done. The later was returned and replaced free of charge. We had to ask twice for our drinks to be refilled and then they finally came after we were all done eating. On a positive note, the French Onion soup was very good. But alas, we came for the steaks and they were really bad and the service was not good either. We intend to try the Trib next week which was awesome the last time we were in Calgary.

Good Place to go Before a Show at the Jack Singer. I highly recommend the molten chocolate cake for dessert. It was the best I've ever had! Service was prompt and friendly.

Very good food!. There were three of us on a Monday night with a reservation - service was quite slow - I had to ask for a glass of water twice. It took a while for our bottle of wine to come too. But, the food was great! I had a petite filet mignon with the loaded baked potato and grilled broccoli. It's odd that a small side of veggies cost $5, but they were really good! My steak was very tender and flavourful and the potato was awesome with real bacon and cheese. For dessert I had the sticky toffee cake (pudding) - the best I've ever had. It came with that crispy sugar wafer on top with ice cream so there was a good variety in textures - the soft cake with the crispy sugar thingy... mmmm!!! I will definitely return for the food.

I loved it!. I had a few hours to kill before I had to start studying hard for a midterm, so I decided to treat myself before I bury myself in my books.<br/><br/>I went down to Saltlik because I'd heard good word about it and I love my steaks. I showed up around 3, and had to wait a few seconds before anyone saw me. It was really quiet, as I'd imagine it is around the time of day.<br/><br/>The service when it arrived (very shortly thereafter) was awesome. It was very prompt and very well-timed. <br/><br/>I decided to start with the calamari and ended with the CAB steak.<br/><br/>The calamari was awesome, it was served with a variety of thinly sliced roast peppers which were a nice compliment to the calamari and it was served with half a roast lemon.<br/><br/>The steak was even better. I asked for it done rare, and it was like cutting through butter. Plenty of asparagus served with the steak so when I left I was quite full. <br/><br/>Only complaint: I had the shrimp skewer and unfortunately the shrimp were quite bland. Oh well!

Great Food. Had a great meal here; Lobster potatoes were awesome. Steak was prepared perfect. Had a great Valentines dinner!
Jillian.palmer54
Family Valentines. Loved it! My family and I went out for a pre-valentines dinner and left stuffed and happy. Great service, nice touch that they ask your name and address you by name. The lobster mashed potatoes were to die for and the steaks were smashing. I had the shrimp and scallop pasta which was great, the pasta was cooked perfectly. I only wish there were more scallops, only two in the dish. They also don't have Canadian, which was disappointing for the die hard Canadian beer drinkers in my family. The Caesars are also very spicy, so if you can't take spice beware. However, Great atmosphere, great food and we are planning on heading there next celebration.

A steakhouse should know how to grill a steak. Mine was horribly burnt on one end and rare on the other. Simply a miserable dining experince. The sticky toffee pudding desert was excellent. To bad they only have a good desert chef. Maybe they should remove steakhouse from the name.<br/><br/><br/>-----09 Feb, 2014-----<br/><br/>I had the ribs and enjoyed them. Meal was tasty and prompt
Time4tea
Tried this place for the first time last tonight for dinner, I was recommended by the server that the grilled salmon was good so I decided to give it a try. The portion was a bit small, the potatoes were cold and hard, and the salmon itself was overcooked to the point that the whole skin was burnt, it lacked taste and was very dry. Definitely not worth the money. Service was alright and food didn't take too long but the food was no good.
Randall23
Great steakhouse in downtown Calgary. I have been a patron of their Banff location for years now, and Saltlik never disappoints! Incredible service and quality steaks done the right way! Definitely in my top 5 Calgary restaurants!
KarenS
It was okay. The food and the service was just okay, my step-dad ordered the steak and it looked horribly overcooked (ordered medium-rare) , dry and unappetizing. I had the seafood linguini and it was just okay as well. The scallops were juuuuust barely cooked but were a decent size. <br/><br/>I could easily have made better food at home. Will try somewhere else next time.

Racist. Wednesday November 23 - I was meeting a colleague for dinner at 6.30pm. The ladies outside were particularly very rude when I called the persons name that I was meeting. They apparently did not see many man of my nationality. The told me the person I was to meet had gone. I asked them to clarify that statement - does it imply that i can go home now or what. They did not comment.<br/><br/>I found their behaviour offensive and rude. Get over it already Calgary's diversity is here to stay

Some Good Alberta Beef. I have been here twice and both times all the servers and hostess were friendly and helpful. Wine list complements the weight of the dinner. Good range of apps, beef was phenomenal, and lobster mash potatoes were great but heavy. You are definitely full when you leave the Saltlik!
K
Meh!. It was okay, but only okay. The steaks were good, but the potatoes were cold (I personally hate cold potatoes) and the one fish dish was undercooked. There was so much I would have sent back had we not been in a time crunch - needing to eat before we went to a concert. Would I drop $500 (yah - $500 for 7 of us) bucks there again? No. Joel, our server, was awesome though - I will follow him to his next job at a much better place!

Yummy! Would go again for sure.. Went to the restaurant with a party of five. 4/5 of the people had steaks and argued that Caesar's steaks were still a tad better and more flavourful. But Satlik's were still very enjoyable and of good quailty.<br/><br/>I had the ribs and they were perfectly bbq'd and the sauce was so tasty. Very tender and smoky.<br/><br/>We all had caesar salads which were tasty, nothing super special but the croutons were very good!! <br/><br/>For appetizers we had the popcorn shrimp and the cheese toast. They were both amazing!! The cheese toast was heavenly and gooey and that bread was so soft and fresh tasting too. The shrimp has the yummiest crispy coating and came with two home made dipping sauces which were great.<br/><br/>For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding and it was wonderful. Nice and rich and moist and the toffee sauce was perrrrfect. <br/><br/>Service was prompt and we felt very attended to by the staff. Our waitress was knowledgable about the menu and really took her time with us. <br/><br/>Would definitely recommend this place to a friend and overall we all left happy and satisfied!!

Disappointing steak. We chose to go to Saltlik as we were wanting a good steak. In fact we changed our reservation from another restaurant to go here. The service was poor from the start and we were not greeted at our table for over 5 min. Our server did not seem interested in our table at all. After our drinks arrived we waited almost 20 min for our steaks, when we had indicated that we had an engagement that we had to get to. It would seem that the steaks had either been overcooked or left to sit too long before serving as they were dry and tasteless, thank goodness for the sauce!! (We did not have time for them to bring a replacement, although they did offer). They did pick up the bill for the steaks, however, that was not why we had chosen to go dinner in hopes of a great steak. Not sure I would return.
Bologna
Food was good but they didn't have several items offered on the menu. A bit over priced when you consider that you have to pay extra to get vegetables with your steak

Had a last minute lunch meeting with some clients from out of town and Saltlik was the only place I could get a reservation. Overall a pretty good experience. Service was prompt, food came out quickly and was pretty good. Double-fisted burger was a little disappointing, as it was just your typical burger with the regular fixings for $16.

Nice steak house. A little heavy decor and a little heavy food, but over all its a great place and the food is great. Its a great steak house.
SB
Forgettable. The service was good, and the bread pudding we had for dessert was delicious, but otherwise our experience here was entirely underwhelming and forgettable. For some reason it reminded me of food you would get at a wedding or a hotel lobby restaurant - not bad or inedible, but no unique or memorable flavours. There are so many restaurants in this city (and a ton of steak houses!), so we will probably not return.
JRicarddi
Done to pefection!. Steak temperatures were made perfectly, the calamari appetizer we had was absolutely addicting. We order it everytime we visit. Our server seemed a little bit uneducated when we had questions about the menu at first, however she did attempt to find out for us. We never got the issue resolved, but the food was still great none the less.
Herb
Marginal halibut. I had the crusted halibut. Not a lot of flavor but the crust and vegies were really good. Would it have been classy to ask for tartar sauce?

Good service but not a steak house. I used to go to Saltlik 3 times a year but stopped for awhile. I just went back tonight to give them another try and I was disappointed with the food. I must say, they do have good services from the Manager to the Waitress. 3 times in the past my ribeye came out not to the right doneness and they quickly fix it to my liking and the manager would come over to check it out himself and apology. However, this time, I was disappointed by the service by this East Indian hostess and the quality of the steak. We dropped by at 9:30PM and it was not busy as expected. We asked for a table by the fireplace but this Hostess would not give us the empty tables near the fireplace on the excuse that the Waitress for that section is too busy to serve us. How stupid is that? If this Waitress is too busy then get another Waitress to serve us for those empty tables by the fire place! She put us into a table in other sections instead. I was about to leave when this nice Waitress came by and said "What else can she do to make our evening better?" Nice! We asked would she serve us if she move us to one of the empty tables by the fireplace and she said "of course". She just guaranteed herself a 20% tip. Her service was excellent. But, the ribeye steak I ordered medium rare came out blue and had to be returned to be cooked a bit more. It came back better but the meat was tough and had a lot of sinew. My veridict is this is not a steak house as they claim. The better steak house is the Vintage Steak House. But, the service at Saltlik has been excellent.
Levis
One of the best steakhouse in alberta! Ive ordered the rib eye (my favorite) with side of mushroom and lobster mash potatoes. Every thing tasted so good. My GF too had the filet mignon and our steak was cook to prefection. The service was top class, server knows his stuff and explan everything very well on the menu. Only thing was the margarita we had was double (we didnt know it come double) wich was not a bad thing.

4 out of 5 times. I have been here 5 times. 4 were great, the 5th was average. I wish they still had the French Onion Soup. Best I've ever had in my life. Good solid bet for a good solid steak. Although, the Ceasars (drinks) are way too Salty, and its not the salt on the glass.
MFortGarry
Pricey but worth it.. Best Calamari EVER. Had the Calamari as an appetizer and it was AWESOME. The steak was perfect, good sized portions. Our server, Alex, was great. Just attentive enough without being bothersome. Overall, very satisfied.
