Wish I could give more than 5 stars! I've been here a few times and its always very good. I took my friend here for her birthday yesterday, there was a minor issue with her steak being overcooked. They took back both our steaks, our sides and grilled new steaks to perfection as well as new sides. They brought out desert on the house for the birthday girl. Our server brought us a very nice glass of desert wine at the end for the troubles with the steak. On top of it they took her steak off of the bill even though I never asked them too. The manager came over, apologized and was extremely professional. Our waiter was top notch as well. As a business owner I understand things happen, its all on you handle it. I am extremely impressed with the superb handling of our night. We had fun, the food was amazing, service was fantastic. I have never had such amazing customer service from a restaurant before, and I eat out frequently. Other venues should take note. I will be frequenting here more often and highly recommend this place for a night out!
My husband and I went here for date night and absolutely loved it. I read the reviews before and had an open mind hoping for the best but not expecting perfect just in case. We both appreciated the server bringing the block with different cuts of meat we could order. We ordered both the tenderloin and the chefs cut which was the wagyu beef and both were melt in your mouth best steaks we've had. The meals come with one side which is big enough to share so we each got something we both like and it was more than enough. The wine menu had ample choices and the baked Alaska was an absolute treat! I highly recommend this place and will definitely go again.
Always amazing food and the place is so old school it's just a Calgary classic! Steaks are on point and the lobster mac and cheese is to die for.
Great, friendly service! The girls at the front door were genuinely warm and friendly immediately offering to seat us plus check my coat! We didn't have dinner but came for the live band and drinks! Our server was excellent as well!! I would highly recommend this place!
Had the New York Strip and it was honestly the best steak I've had! Amazing service and amazing food! Definitely recommend going
We didn’t have a reservation, so sat at the bar. We had great service from the two bartenders, the food was perfect (scallops, steak tartare and truffle mac & cheese). We put in a four hour shift, trying different cocktails and wines, and enjoyed the live music. Loved it!
So amazing � Loved our waiter. So accommodating. The rib eye is to die for!
Very classy place perfect for dinner and even an evening cocktail in the lounge. Staff is amazing and the experience is relaxed and memorable. A must try appy is the chicken fried lobster.
Best meal and service in the city! Exceptional steak, salmon and chicken! The scotch is not so bad either!
I've been to Hy's, Caesar's, Ruth's Chris and Vintage. Vintage is the only chophouse I've returned to (many times ). Simply the best food, ambience and service.
Dropped by for a late lunch with hubby. Enjoyed lobster sandwiches with Quail’s Gate Merlot followed by Baked Alaska! Fabulous - we’ll be back. Almosphere and service second to none.
What an amazing way to end a vacation. Great service and a wonderful meal! Definitely recommending this plays to friends and family visiting Calgary.
