Review Subway - Burnaby

It was wonderful experience visiting this restaurant. Staff is so energetic every time i visit the restaurant. I wonder how they manage to have such a positive attitude on busiest days too. Well done.

I’m writing this review because I think it’s important for businesses to know when they have good stuff when I came in last night just before closing with my boyfriend we were greeted by Gurleen and even though we were coming in just before closing, some places, they don’t react well when you come in so late, but she was very friendly and kind greeting us with a smile She was very patient with us while we decided what we wanted on our sandwiches. Not only was she’s super quick and efficient when it came to making our sandwiches but she overheard me and my boyfriend talking about what and start getting it ready for him but when he had questions about sauce and stuff, she was very informative about like what was exactly in the sauces to give him an idea of the taste giving really good recommendations about what kind of sauces would go really well with his sandwich There was three of us in the store at that time and she was able to get all of us run through the till within about 15 I work in customer service, and I have never seen service this good in a fast food restaurant she was so kind and so knowledgable and really paid attention and listen to us. I feel like she’s a great asset to your team.

UPDATE: Sept 2020 Went back to try the buy 1 get one online mobile deal. THEY are getting better! 5stars!! July 2020 They are open! Revamped again! New everything!! Machines and all. They have social distancing markers and even usb and plug! The owner spared no expense on this place. NO DINE IN for now but their chairs and tables are even new!!!!!!! -1 🌟 for now cz staff looks like they don't want to be here lol! But I'm sure it will change once pandemic ends.

Great friendly service at this Subway. Plenty of parking at this location and it is a quiet place to dine a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of the Metropolis Metrotown mall. Just avoid the noon hour when school is in session, as it is blitzed by hungry kids from the nearby schools

I've been here a few times now and the staff are always so great! The sandwiches here are great ! Nice options for dining in and clean facility. The staff go above and beyond .

This is a good location. They usually don’t have a lot of people, in fact many times I was the only one in the room (I come during weekends afternoon or lunch), and they are very fast. I like their cookies with marshmallow in it but sometimes their chocolate chip cookies can be dry and tough. On some good days, their chocolate chip cookies beats the chocolate chip cookies from BJ bakery nearby due to their softness and not being too sweet. On some bad days their chocolate chip cookies are not even as good as the cookies you get from the grocery store which is also nearby.

Great food every single time. We normally get our usual but we wanted to try their new crispy chicken sub the other day. We both had a stomachache and the runs after. Don’t recommend it. Other than the new chicken they have, the other subs are good! Staff are friendly.

The last time i went there i noticed they were skimpy on the vegetables on my foot long. Also since when would you tip for fast food. Felt uncomfortable when tip amount came up when paying and it didn’t give an option button with no tip until i had to ask to by pass.Felt uncomfortable. Will avoid this subway for that reason.

It's really hit or miss. Sometimes the veggies will be sad at best, and sometimes the workers will have exactly 0 life left in their soulless husks. On the bright side, my last visit was quite nice! The veggies were fresh, the sandwich was well-made, and the girl must have been new because she still seemed like she had hope left for her life. Overall, not the best but not the worst either.
