Review Browns Social House - Burnaby

I like this restaurant. Food is delicious and vibe is great and prices are fair. My disappointment with this branch was I tried to call a day in advance to reserve a table because of the guests I had. A guy who introduced himself as manager refused to make reservations and told us there could be 2 hour line walk in. Since I did not want to mess with my guests I went walked in an hour early, and asked to put on wait list for next hour. They did not confirm even at that time, but restaurant was not that busy and they gave me a table five minutes later. So I waited almost an hour. I could save this time easy if I could just make the reservation. My other disappointment with the manager was that he did not care about reviews on google at all. With the exception of above everything else was good and staff were friendly. Free Parking also available.

Awesome service and food, a bit expensive but that's pretty normal these days. I got their butcher block burger with fries and my wife got the tiki tuna poke bowl. Both dishes were cooked/plated perfectly and the fries were some of the best I have had. I would have given 5 stars but the mains took a little long to come.

Dropped by for happy hour. No complaints. We were seated right away and served quickly. The happy selection was good. I really like the deep fried cauliflower. Perfectly crispy. The heat on the fried chicken was good too, not very hot. Just want more of everything! Recommend the happy hour.

Had a great dinner here last night. Restaurant was great. Some awesome classic songs playing and the food was great. We all had a great time and the staff was wonderful as well. Thanks for a great night out with family.

First time visit at this location. 5 mins walk from Brentwood Skytrain station. Cozy settings. Went in for a quick snack. Not too crowded at 6pm, service staff was decent

We shared the tempura cauliflower and vege burger (not impossible burger). The cauliflower was tasty but a bit over battered, so the dough was a somewhat raw inside. It looked great but could have been so much better. The vege burger was awesome! Great flavour, juicy burger and a brioche bun made it one of the best vege burgers I've had. Only problem was that the fries were cold, and even when they refreshed it, the fries were still a bit soggy - also could have been so much better because the seasoning was great - need to be more crispy. The key lime pie was a bit small for a dessert but delicious. I would def get it again. Overall I would give it a 3, but the customers service made it so much better, and had to give it a 4

Placed streetside for convenience. Loads of space. Quick service. Food was ok(moderate) Prices are a little towards the higher end Quality of Food 8/10 Ambiance 7/10 Pricing 6/10 Staff and CE 8/10 Space and comfort 9/10 Cleanliness 9/10

Although the food was delicious, as a family we waited for almost 40 minutes to get our food even after asking about it . Also there was not a single knife or fork on the table until we asked for it. Food was great as we ordered different dishes. At the end, we asked for the deserts to go but just now when we arrived home there was no spoon or fork to eat with although we requested them. But to be fair, the waiter who provided us with the cheque was doing great effort. I hope they can take care of these things as I know this restaurant had a good reputation before

We always enjoy our time with this place. I cant remember complaining of anything I ordered. Amazing place and polite servers. But don't come during lunch time, the place is pack and busy, if you have an hour to get your lunch, I don't recommend. My colleagues tried three time but never got out order our food in time so we end up bringing it to go and eat our food at work. But over all the food is good.

Great food; which is always consistent, with great variety to the menu. Fresh juice cocktails are remarkable 😍🙌❤ it's hard to just have one! Beautiful restaurant, great place for casual dinner or special event, always a great atmosphere! The Staff is always very friendly, efficient, and well trained. We have a great dinner experience here each and every time.

Chill place for a Friday night. Good ambiance. Free parking. Ordered a Blackened halibut burger with Dragon Bowl (coconut rice bowl with chicken) and a $5 house Brewster. Good taste but if you want a good rice bowl coconut rice mix, Tropica in Richmond is the best. Good and friendly service. I will hang again.

The service was really terrible. We were seated right away and then it took 10 minutes for our drink order, and then another 10 minutes for it to arrive. We also had to flag down a server for our food order. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Went here for the 1st time yesterday. The hostess, waitress, and bartender were all very polite, and very professional. My wife and i both enjoyed our food and beers. The ambience was nice too. We will definitely be back again!

Wasn't terrible. But wasn't that great either. Our server was nice. But there were quite a few issues. First, we got drinks but no coasters - had to ask for them. Had to ask for water, cutlery, and napkins, as well - all of which should have come without request. My wife ordered several Caesar's, but there was little consistency between them. My food was fine, but we were there with another couple. Her nachos came cold, and she had to send them back to reheat. He had ordered his burger without mayo, and although it didn't come with mayo, it also didn't come with the lettuce or tomato it was supposed to - he had to ask for both. And her key lime pie had a hair in it. We might sound picky or demanding, but neither is further from the truth. We're fairly easy to please. We actually started joking about what was going to go wrong next. Ultimately, with all the great places to go, I can't see us returning to Browns.

Went to Browns Socialhouse Brentwood for lunch today and got the crispy chicken with yam fries. The food was great and our server,Niko, was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back!

We're here for Sunday lunch very frequently. We love the menu, the staff are wonderful, the drinks are nice. Tuna is always great, burgers are delicious, that crispy chicken sandwich is a favourite of my husband's. We love Brown's.

Exceptional Experience! I recently found out that I am intolerant to a long list of items and was surprised how many gluten friendly options were available. I ordered and Ivan was happy to make substitutions to my needs. My food arrived and it came with a salad that had parmesan and a dairy dressing which I completely forgot to ask about. They were apologetic even though it was not their fault and offered a new salad. Also, I recently got Invisalign and forgot to bring the carrying case. I took them off and wrapped it in a paper towel and left it on the table. I left the restaurant and realized about 3 minutes later so I ran back! The table was already cleaned up and my Invisalign was in the trash. I spoke with the manager, Emily, and she offered to look through the garbage for me. I told her it was my fault and I could go through the garbage but she insisted. She brought out gloves and pulled it out for me. Thankful! I had an exceptional experience with the whole team at Brown’s Burnaby! Thank you so much! �

I had lunch here last week and the manager suggested the veggie burger and it was VERY good. One of the best veggie burgers I've ever had and it was brought out to me very quickly!

I went here for lunch yesterday and against my better judgement I ordered the baha fish taco. Everything was great until I bit into an avocado stem? that had made it's way into my taco. The reason I said against my better judgement is that, believe it or not, this is not the first time that this has happened to me at a Brown's. A few months ago I went to the Newport Village one and the same damn thing happened. The manager at this location came to speak with me personally. He apologized, comped my meal and made sure to let me know that if I had any problems with my tooth (those stems are rock hard and it hurt when I bit into it.) He was amazing and very apologetic. All I got from the Brentwood location, was an "oh" from the waiter. No apology, nothing. He brought me 2 $5 cards to be used on my next visit at that specific location, which will be never as I live in Port Coquitlam and rarely make it out that way. Plus, after nearly breaking my tooth twice at two different locations, I'm honestly very worried to go back in case this might happen again.

I just sat at the bar, but the service was great, the bartender friendly and the food was delicious. I'd go there again. �

Went to Browns for Sunday brunch with my wife. Both the food and service were excellent. Will definitely be returning.
